How much were heavy mech cpu cortexes pre drop rate nerf? 1 mill? Right now even if you offered 10 mill you'd be lucky to find a seller. When will it end, 20 mill prices? Talk about over-balancing.

The crappy landmass setup is a major contributor into why the game isn't retaining players. A game such as perpetuum should have a massive playable area, of epic size. Instead we have these tiny little islands which are pigeoned off into Alpha 1, Alpha 2, Beta 1, Beta 2. A lot of people will stick to one island mostly, but by doing so they really feel how tiny the world really is.

I've said since early closed beta that the whole island setup is dumb. It's not just about the world being small, it's about the effects that the island setup has on PvP. People like the option of being able to somewhat pick their fights and have a chance of escape, but there's little chance for that with the way the world is setup.

Webs don't help either, most fights are to the death, option for escape is virtually zero. This doesn't make for fun pvp.

What the game needs is a giant landmass or two and to hell with the current island setup. Turn them into starter areas for newer players or something before they venture off into the real continent.

Nobody fits them for three reasons. They are too heavy on fitting requirements. They slow you down a lot. Range on them is crap.

Games like WoT are fillers when you're waiting for things to finish or happen in games like Perp etc.

I farmed 1 million plasma in 3-4 days using gropho mk2s with no remote repairer. Yeah I think I can PVE just fine in them. Just because i'm good at something easy like pveing in a gropho doesn't mean there's not an issue.

And actually it's almost always not useful, i think that's what you meant to say.

So it's right that gropho has a bonus that is only good for pvp? Is that what the devs intended, pvp bonuses?

What about keeping in line with the bot bonuses? Pelistal bonus is AP recharge.

What about the other factions combat mechs? Do they get pvp specific bonuses? No, their bonuses are all round useful.

Even if it was 2 every 2 seconds, that's 20 ap every 10 seconds, and it's draining way more than that. A 10 second cycle drains my ap over 100+. It's doing something like 24 ap per 2 seconds.

I have T3 signal maskers fit to my bots and they are destroying my accumulator.

It says 2 ap every 10 seconds. It must be draining 30 times more than that.

Hum no its not. Inflation as Arga said is based on market pricing, not quantity of currency in the system.

Exactly its not the high difference of income power between most income(vets)/worst income(newb) that creates inflation. Its the general and proportional increase of buying power (demand), wich is obviously related to the total amount of nic in the system, but also related to the even or uneven distribution of those nic.

I insist there could be gazillions of nic in the system and no inflation happens, its linked but not in the way "+1 nic in system = +x% inflation".

Oh and Purgatory, are we really talking the same thing? You make 50k plasmas PER hour, alone, with no alt support etc? Cause it change the whole maths too. When we consider all those things, the unit is character, not player. If you got an alt support, you can cut that in half.

When too much currency is added to an economy, inflation occurs. Plasma causes inflation.

Today I farmed 300k+ of plasma in less than 6 hours. 100 mill+ nic from npc sales in 6 hours.

And yes it is inflation even if I haven't spent it yet smile

I have

2x Praetorian specialist distress beacon (pelistal)

2x Mercenary major distress beacon (thelodocia)

Both are level 1, but they almost always are, and they often progress to level 2 and 3.

I've already done one of the merc distress beacons, and can confirm it was the mech/heavy mech one. From this one I looted 4x observer mech kernals and also T2+ and T4+ combat mech loot. If you progress to level 3 you can expect 4 observer mech kernals from it.

I will trade 1 beacon for 1 beacon, industrial star beacons only.

I take it you moved onto a beta island spawn?

Also tell me when you got more, or fill my order.

You're not the first person i've heard to get one from a silver hauler dynamic spawn... perhaps there's a bug? Golden haulers in dynamic spawns have never dropped a beacon for me.

Other officers I have yet to encounter. I am either unlucky or hugely lucky that the Indy beacons from my little NPC pets are so fruitful.

I get around 5 modules each in stacks of 1 to 3. Yes, stacked.. It's probably a bug.
They are also damaged stacks but repair themselves when unstacked. Hugely a bug.

What type of npcs dropped indy star beacons?

It's kind of silly, because i've found some dynamic spawns that spawn only mech and heavy mech combat bots of T4 and T5, never a light. As soon as an industrial spawns though, it's always a sequer. It would have made more sense for industrial mechs/heavies to spawn instead.

As it stands right now, it is impossible to get mech and up industrial npcs from any npc spawn. Only npc caravans and beacons can spawn them. Caravans are very few, and you could farm beacons all day and only get 1 industrial beacon of the right type that's gonna net you about 10-12 industrial mech kernals.

10 hours of dedicated effort into collecting golden mech kernals yields only a dozen or so kernals if you're lucky.

I agree, it is silly and looking how many kernels do you need to actually unlock something, T4 industrial is now not hard to do, but in my opinion nearly impossible to do. 
There were 2 spawns with industrial heavy mechs on dana, now I can farm whatever spot I can and yes, I will get sequers. I forgot to add this fact to my post, but in my talk with the dev I did say it. Yes, I did get industrial robots, but it was never anything bigger than a golden sequer. While I did get a beacon from a wave of sequers, it looks like they count as elite spawns?

Sooo the heavy mech indus are going to be as hard to get as a commander?

Industrial mech/hmech npcs need to be added back into normal npc spawns. Should never have been removed.

You got a beacon from sequers in a normal spawn? I've killed so many waves of sequers and never got a beacon from them.
