I'm sure their numerous accounts were in danger of getting spontaneously unsubscribed, so the Devs had to act quickly to bugfix this blatant injustice. smile

Pathetic new lows for CIR, tho I can't say I didn't see it coming from a bunch of spineless slime. Quit if you want to don't throw it up in peoples faces. It's like pushing someone you want to punch, if the police come your still gonna get charged with assault, Knock him out like you want to

Oh syndic better put CIR and Chaos in your sig... and drop M2S

Honestly you live in the past. Its sad what NOVA is doing now, But hey you all already paid for the month. lulz you lose the enjoyment of stomping heavys on peoples heads. not us.

kiting pve when sitting in a heavy mech = fail IMHO

it needs a termis with a shield, two RSA, one ET and perhaps one RR behind your heavy mech and you can farm anything on alpha without moving your combat mech.

/agree

Seth with autos/ full head of tuning 1 t4 range extender and 3 t4 stabs will kill any thing in lock range of it. You can do it with lasers now too. smile

Isn't there enough pvp/games at stations and teleports that you want to introduce something that will further promote this, in addition of removing possible targets from the map?

Jump gates? Just say no.

Explain how this would promote teleport and station games? It would have the same limitations as a teleport beacon not within 1000 meters of a station. You logic is puzzleing to me as this mechanic would reduce the ammount of gate games we play. As I said in post #4 you would have to be on the island already to be able to select it as a destination.

Bigger Bug on this easily repeatable.

Drop 1st can about 400m from a spawn/ore/anything Open it (leave it open). Move close to what your doing like right in the spawn, Drop 2nd can now open #2 can, Stay with in 100m of #2 can and you can drag and drop items in to #1 can over 400M away with out risking your hauler. This only works with dropping the items in you still have to be 100m away to retrieve them.

1. Not really but
2. 15-20 4 guns on each x 25-30 damage if in locking range around* 1500-2000 damage per volly of all bots involved.

That is generalized as stateing its 1 vs 15-20 and the lights are already in locking range yatta yatta.

Truth is that heavy should see them and kill them before they get in range.

However the battlefield is dynamic and fluid. E-war is a combat multiplyer.
A gang of E-wars will would need more DPS to take down a heavy. But as lemon stated a seasoned heavy pilot would know who is normally running ECMs and who isn't and would know when he's either gonna kite or cannon ball in to them.

If for example your same grouped charged my Gropho i can guarante i would have killed off your known ECM pilots (from experience) before they get within range. T1 ECM=390m Range.... Kill a light e-war at 550m in 4.1 seconds no ECm at that point...

You summed it up on the other post! Even alone you probably are one of the best at using the terrain or trying to dictate where the fight will happen to give yourself the "human" advantage.

Hunter, I don't even understand why you've put a personal twist on this. I've not talked to a DEV or GM since I made an Alt account like 3 weeks before the EVE exodus(was protocal for them to "chat" the newbs back then). I don't even get in IRC. I just started testing ERP tanks on my Artimis and Seth about 2 weeks before this nerf. But I stand by my point that any thing getting 10 v 1 soloed should go down reguardless of tank or fit.

Typical CIR Nova response to a hostile force on island.....
1. Scramble the detector fleet.
2. Get eyes and start assembling fleet to counter. Txt message the ictus pilot. lol
3. Do funny cir math.... (your fleet type + you number in fleet + your biggest bot in fleet)(their current on line number + your fleet type^2 + 2 Heavy Mech pilots) = 2 times what you bring with bot size increase of 1-2
4. Try and get lemon to cut off the internals or one external.
5. Chase you and get you to flag against a far supperior force to keep from getting D-mobbed
6. After either threat eliminated or slipped off island move heavys to TP and sit for 2-3 hours.
7. Sit at Outpost until threat has logged or is seen on PVE alts.

You got proof that I personally talked to a DEV/GM? Cause it not your slandering my credibility and this, I don't understand. If you don't have proof that I did this don't make such comments. I think that this thread has reached its end you offer no proof to what you say except that a outnumbered heavy mech was killed when he was caught solo.

Did you Pm all 10 of them to make sure they were running T1? Either way it sould have died it was solo.

Your video of Lemon was taken during the Assault Buff... He couldn't see you. How is that ballanced. Twist the story more and more. And whats the counter to T1 fit assaults? Speed fit Kains. And the counter to speed fit Kains? Tank fit Mechs and E-war tackles. Get off your one trick pony and ride another fit.

You specialized on vitality: you are blind and without DPS. You specialized on DPS: you are blind and paperbot. You specialized on eyes: you are paperbot and without dps. All was perfect.

Exactly Alex and what is a Heavy with out support? A big target. And a Big SOLO target is a big SOLO target. Heavys should be hard but not impossible to DPS down. If the heavy is with out support its a liability to its corp and owner cause if its caught by a gang it should die. Not perma tank just cause we forgot to bring the Ictus.

Ok hunter whats the balance if you sit under outpost with ERP tank and when we come with "correct" tool to kill tank you hop out a second ERP tank and a few friends.... you arguement is paper thin. Just like my frame/evasive fit E-war. Paper thin. You mad cause we run away when you bring the Heavys out, or cause Hydra lost one solo... oh wait he admitted it was a good fight. Sorry man it seems like you want a I win button where one shouldn't be. Heavy ERPs are not the be all end all of this game, and If your soloing 6-11 dudes with ERP just cause they didn't bring the "right" tool thats IMBA 6-11 people vs 1 should be a no-brainer. I'd even bet my paycheck on the 6-11 any day of the week.

In Fact lets start a thread on Evasive mods on E-wars not helping vs a Heavy. Except testing is gonna get expensive for the E-war pilot.

Funny CIR hates this mechanic but its already being used by CIR/RG to save themselves while reinforcments arrived.

Thats right folks simply go to a inner island teleporter and you are safe as long as you keep jumping~!

And thats just what he did!. RUN Seth RUN your Mesmer buddies will save you, or maybe you should have sacraficed yourself to the CHAOS why ERP got nerfed bandwagon. Trolololol Every patch you all find something to rally the troops up for a crusade.

+1 for a contracting system but please make it so I can contract certain Corps/Agents and also Free/Open contracts. They need to have collateral, which if you don't know means: I package my seth and set up a contract to have it moved from Tellesis to Daoden I put a colateral of 30mill on it that the person accepting the contract must pay to pick up my packed Seth. Upon delivery he gets the payment of X ammount of Nic plus the 30 mill collateral. The only other way this system can work is if you put the items to ship in a shipping container that is only openable by the Contract creator. In stEVE you could open the crates canceling your contract and allowing you to take all the items in the contract, But with collateral you rarely got your $'s worth. Alot of "newly" formed alliances lost ships buy contracting a 'trusty' member to take their items to 0.0 or low sec with no collateral.

TL;DR
Collateral payments is a must in open ended contracting systems. & will agents be able to crack open the shipping containers?

I like it.
Most people wanted to limit by range but that was very hard to do with a 0 to 10 level extension.
Reducing the NIC cost of buying and selling at a distance would make a lot of sense. It should be a base 10% handling charge and reduce by 1% per level of the extension. Make it a Rank 1 or 2 extension as well.

Perfect I couldn't work out the % so that it would be 'fair' to small Alpha corps and Large Beta corps but I like that. Maybe 13% and lvl 9 and 10 reduce you 2.5% each to make them more tempting to true Logi/indy/markteering toons.
The whole idea came while I was moving Mats from point A to B and saw in market a chance to make Nic on return trip by purchasing titan and moving it back... When I got to station someone had already had my idea and bought all the titan.

There is not any reasons to build heavy mechs now, because its not effective to spend 5k of alligor to the machine, lot of money and time. To the machine what will be killed in minutes with t1 assault dps gang.
And MaraKaid asking to nerf heavies again, because its not easy to kill 30kk gropho with 6*500000 nic gang.

Efforts should be rewarded. Else - game is not worth an efforts.

62nd/M2S efforts were rewarded with a solo Heavy kill that got heavly ECM'd There was only about a 5-7 second gap he wasn't ECM'd.

I know most of us are running tiered something now in 62nd cause we farm the Nova drops regularly. Seriously a Heavy isn't ment to take on a 6-11 man squad solo and live that just dumb. Reguardless of Fit 6 v 1 is being outnumberd and out gunned.

2 new extentions that could easily help a indy/marketeer

  • Distance Sell order: Allows the creation of a sell order at the station/OP that the item being sold at is located however handleing will be charged. (ie. I'm at Galoly and selling 1 mill titan from my personal storage at ICS A) Each level of this extention reduces the handleing charge by 7% Sales Tax will still be applied

  • Distance Buy order: Allows the creation of a Buy order/remote purchase at the station/OP that the item being bought at is located however handleing will be charged. (ie. I'm at Galoly and Buying 1 mill titan from Market at ICS A) Each level of this extention reduces the handleing charge by 7% Item purchased will be placed in that terminal/OP in your personal storage

Handleing is basicly a fee the Outpost owners charge for getting the items out of your storage and placing them in to the market.
Distance Buy order will work as a direct market purchase on standing sell orders.

This by no means will help you transport said item only allow for remote marketing.

If these get implemented I would also propose that we have a function that allows remote storage access for a fee(handleing). (ie. I want to put 800 U of helio from my personal storage in ICS A to Corp storage lvl 2 while sitting at Galoly outpost. This should scale interms of U moved.

Already with the insults? Ok [redacted].... Learn to go to a low traffic area before Flagging or have some friends waiting as back up. I've spent over 3 hours PVP flagged training with our corp and others. We were sitting under the Outpost for most of it. Yeah you will die if you flag up at the TP or the Terminal ofc some one will interupt. Go back to wow if you want to dual.

A. if you want to Dual, take that person and head to a beach somewhere out of a traffic area flag up and go at it.
B.This simulation PVP area will ruin free world pvp no questions asked and whats gonna stop someone with early access account from ruining everyones light bot 1v1 tourneys?

I'm all for a Dual system but its already in game with the flagging mechanics just gotta know where to do it.
