Mechs with low skill will always be out dps'd by an assault with OK skills when killing lights and assaults. Best advice I ever got in perp was from Phalanx he said plan to use a mech 2 months after you buy it cause by then you will have the skills to use it.

I agree with Baal it comes down to you being patient and planning what skills you will boost and having long term goals.

I know its short notice but my RL commitments shifted I wanted to do this next week but this week will have to do.

This sunday at 19:30 servertime, will be restart light bot tournaments and a new tourny for vets.

Again this is for low ep skilled to high ep skilled individuals to fight off and kill each other.

The Storyline missions ask you to travel between all three alpha2 islands. I guess there is way more loot that you can carry anyway. At least one of the mission lines asks you to kill a Pelistal Officer at the so-called Missile Depot. I consider that one as a "Mini-Boss", since its a named NPC.


The "officer" is just a 3rd/4th star mech unless they updated the missions to include Elites as bosses.
Will run it again when I get time in a few days & update you then.

Going to try a Autocannon Artimis and Mk2 Troiar (mission taker) to kick the mission off.

Funny I remember when RG was using log offs on nova effectivly and 62nd just kept at it now 62nd uses them and they are a blight on the game. Every PVP game I ever played has had forms of docking games and logg off traps its a part of the game. Just as the tactic bait and switch.... use a small bot to lure people in to your big bot. You could even go as far as saying CIR was using log off traps by letting 62nd go all the way under Dana before logging in and undocking 7-12 accounts, we would watch Nova channel go from 12 online to over 25 in a few mins after we got on their island.

Blink: in WOW is an abality used by a mage to teleport itself 10m in any direction.....

Just no the game to client already hates it when you teleport using a teleporter this wouldn't help that any.
And on second thought how would this abality solve the transparent robots?

LOL one of my best memories of 62nd was when Nova got fed up with us and stopped logging in, we set up 4 vs 4 out side of Galoly with ourselves fighting to 1/4 armor then you were out. We did that for about 3 hours, was some of the best pvp I ever had. That was the night I learned that a zenith could shut down 2 ictus if you were on top of your game.

TL:DR Set up your own learning PVP to find your strengths and weaknesses before you go crashing head first in to a pvp loss, but this Idea isn't a learning curve its a free pass which is not needed.

That would ruin the already nerfed repair skill. I know people who after a farming session will sort threw each and every item and do a cost vs sell spread sheet. Seems OCD to me but this person has a fat wallet in game. Any way like I said I'm all for stacking as wrench colors. yeah I did see the below quote but really you think that it would happen that way? I doubt that, above would most likely be the course of action they would take.

This is what could be one for existing damaged modules:

25% health for damaged modules with an existing health of 1%  to 25%
50% health for damaged modules with an existing health of 26% to 50%
75% health for damaged modules with an existing health of 51% to 99%

This is where I have an issue..... Nothing in this game comes with out risk, That being said, I'm totaly against this magical teleport of transport goods back to mission start point. I'm also 100% against the hauler not being able to crack the seal and take your goodies. It is a very delicate ballance here, as with your system I could package all my goodies throw them in a hauler and not give 2 craps if it even makes it to its future home(NO RISK).

With that other game if you wanted your BattleShip brought to a new system you stripped it created the request made the collateral as high as the ships natural cost and payed them X ammount to bring it. Its not that hard to set up smaller orders so the newer players can haul stuff for you. I did that in EVE very effectivly create multiple small orders that any new player could afford the collateral and bump up the payment a tad and your stuff would be 100 jumps in a few hours no problem.

I think the overall Idea is great and has a place in a game like this however it is a very delicate ballance. To easy and every one will exploit it to hard and no one will use it.

Bottom line is Inda/Lemon have a good idea unfortunatly the player base that does support it can't convince their leadership to allow this "arena" to be built on their island. I purpose that we ask the devs to make Omega 2 just leave it blank on the inside and allow walls to be built. Have a Teleport in location that is buffed so you can see the "arena" the safe area and there in the safe area have 2 teleports in to the arena one on the south side and one on the north side. Once you teleport in same affects as a beta island. Just my 2Cents. Shouldn't be to much work to copy Omega 1 flatten out the ring road and allow walls to be planted clean out all of the things that are in it and give it some TPs in and out, then let lemon and inda do the work and every one else can enjoy it.

Nothing would be solved unless as Arga said you nerf the overall damaged mods. Once you do that then It would be solved. Problem is even if it stacked by color wrenchs(white, yellow and red) it still has to track the 45 Red damaged small armor reps individualy as they aren't the exact same % damaged. Don't get me wrong I'm all  for it happening even if it doesn't speed up interactions as it cleans up my field can/hanger. Don't know how many times I've looked for something after farming and got frustrated about the ammount of crap i had to sift threw to find my shiney.

But this is really becoming the main tactic of M2S and co. on Hokk... Engage enemy with a throw away or someone who can speed away after enemy flags then bring a force of 2-3 times the enemys size at them before flags drop.

Don't worry server 62nd and War fought odds like that for a long time now

wink keep fooling yourselves, M2S ment something when Siddy was around. Still find it hard to believe that a person like siddy who logged in for an intrusion (old school intrusion) and single handly swung the tide of that intrusion by sacraficing himself and forcing the enemy fleet to over extend in to bad terrain would so easily be swept aside and kicked from a corp that he was a founding member of.

I think it's a great patch, but unfortunately because of the microscopic population we are ending up with waiting for 1 hour where otherwise we'd be having fights more frequently. Saps make them have a 30 min timer where you must defend after 30 mins of defending you can take the sap yourself for your corp..... This means your Alliance will still suffer the 1 hour wait if you have multi-Timezone alliances.

Passive sap is alittle to easy and should be 300 points to take
Active is about right as an ECM would ruin your day
Destructive tripple its current HP allow us to double that by repping it.
Speciman ..... This isn't a I2.0 friendly sap change it to Energy sap as stated or make it ammo dump point like it wants 5000 rounds of x ammo not the random crap it wants now make it something that normal PVP roamers might carry.

Make saps take 5-10 mins to take, and make it capturable by attackers or defenders. Defenders get no loot.

By doing this the point of living on beta MOOT!. I can log in run to beta attack my own sap and tp out and claim to live on beta, and still have time to go ninja 3 other islands. Domination is living in beta and defending your sap. The wait mechanic is not fun be glad its only 1 hour and not 2-3 I'm not really seeing how this is an issue if you only take what you can keep.

I don't need it to be a timed de-buff I just would like to know easier than scouring my combatlog. A blue ecm symbol over there targeting bracket for 2 seconds would be great.
