It's possible that the bots have an effect on the economy - botters don't need to buy the minerals from the market that way. Like you said, banning the bots and macroes, didn't hit the economy - because they are already beyond it.
Automining is bad mkay? It can be dull at times, but yesterday or the day before we had a BIG epriton mining op. CHAOS decided to mess up our day and we had to defend the mining op and the island AND the can with over 2000u of epi. We had FUN defending the can and the OP and all what we hold dear. Kudos to CHAOS for giving us some PVP and coming to the island!
Even alpha mining is getting tricky at times is it roaming gangs, artifacts or people deliberately dragging mobs to miners.

With 2 accounts you pay more, but you also have more to do and spend more time doing it - it's not a magic switch that gives you better ammo.

This is a MMORPG corporation based game. Doing stuff solo is hard. Everything working as intended.

Make them mines have high masking and being able to destroyed by gunfire and I am all for this idea (+AOE damage). + there could be demob mines/ ecm mines.

I was in a corporation (RIP Enclave, it died for other reasons tho) which took the second approach first. When I got into the officer role I wanted to change it to the other type but that was not possible because everyone was reluctant to accept the change. After joining CIR i found out that this is a very good way for everyone to have a bit of fun and keep everyone fully equip.
Not only is it working in our land of Novascotch, erm Novastrov, but was a heritage of the great Imperium, now reborn!

The other points are ok imho, but work a bit like artifact hunting. We will also get transforming sooner or later.
