I Agree with most of what Mrs Pickerel is saying here, i dont think we need to nerf triangle missions but put them more in balance if your able to do 7 at a time the amount needs t be lowered to bring it inline with the model intended by the devs.

This game needs a minimum Wage that you can see based on the average time to complete and reward for missions based on level. theres no base line right now to say 15minutes of combat is(50k) = to 15 minutes of transport missions(300k).

How ever at the same time the problem with the game is inflation already happens with some items in the game, like Sensor amps whats is up with that.

I think the problem isn't the 1 guy running transport missions, its the guy with 14 accounts running transport missions. that guy is pulling 20 million a hour. also this nerf isn't going to stop it either its just going to make it more viable for 1 person with 14 accounts to still make more money than you. but hey i guess when you have your own raid team thats sorta the world we live in.

You PvE'rs have no idea how much I wish I played this game when I could PvP flag and kill you while you were doing a "combat" mission. Go to betas and do some real combat you pansy.

LoL thats called Dishonorable combat, We had the same issue over in Fallen Earth when the *** would ninja flag behind you then just run away going "TROLOLOLOL".

The flag system should be a on/off flag not a push for 5 minutes of pvpisum. Additionally it should require you to dock before it can be set or turned off.

Like Arga said, we don't know yet if the nic per hour is going to be reduced. They're changing how you will run transports is all. No more endless round robin from alpha terminal to alpha terminal. Some are viewing this as a nerf, but it could be that with the change comes higher payouts for the mission so the nic per hour will stay the same.

they aren't going to change the payout on anything that would just inject more money into the game when the big mega corps already have billions to throw away.

Is the Golden Triangle still possible ? I wish to do that but i can accept only identical mission at a time ( yes i have parallel missions extension ) ?!

Make a brand new account and invest in Navigation 7, Parallel mission assignment 6, basic robotics 4 and indy 4 and you have a golden triangle build for a day 1 newb.

Run those level 0 transport missions for about 3-4 hours and you get your rep up enough to start doing them. at hour #5 you should have your first 1.5 million.

i would recommend just selling plasma right now and hold on to the other stuff since your trial account you can't trade or sell it for the maximum value and right now the only thing the npc's will do is cheat you out of as much money as they can

yeah i find lately i been disabling the automatic firing  and just focused on the trigger each weapon method, you save allot of ammo that way too.

I remapped my individual weapon keys to be close to my movment so i could trigger them more efficently.

I also have E bound to reload.

LoL, theres allot of times even that LoS calculation isn't accurate and NPCs hit me though trees/buildings/ground

Isn' it like that now? The mobs don't do a constant every 10 second jam/demob anyways (at least the low levels). If they did I could never run away from some spawn smile

Negative, i can say for fact because this happen to me on tuesday night.

Not an OS purist, by any means, just sayin'...

Actually Linux has so much competition it not only competes with Windows or Mac BSD(OSX) but also itself.

Linux is like a MMO that gives the players the ability to make a clan, where windows and mac put you in one to begin with.

im not sure if this was mention but if you go down to the bottom of the modules window and right click on your weapon and un check []AUTOMATIC your weapons will only fire 1 time and then stop. then at that point you have to hit space bar to fire all your weapons or F1-F? to fire them individually like how we use to i mech warrior.

I have reload all modules bound to E becaue of this, typically i duel box and tripple box, esp when mining, clearning the cargo and defending the area.

I usually use a Waspish with some rounds of double core and some rounds of chem. ,

the layout on my screen is
Chem/dbl-c/chem/dbl-c/chem

i typically open up with a alpha strike and dont bother reloading i let the game auto reload.

lately i have noticed that my launchers loaded with chems don't bother reloading when my ammo count for the gets to below 100 rounds, the double cores how ever were stocked up to over 1k and continue to work. i also carry a backup of 100 smith rounds.

you dont have to build the mk2 arkhe, your getting it for free so i think that removes the need for it to be balanced. at least thats the only logic i can see.

IF you have a corp and are unsure how to edit the wiki feel free to contact me. I will work with you to get your information posted. You can even if necessary send me text documents and I will add them to the wiki myself for you. We ran a huge wiki for Fallen Earth(http://www.suspicious-cheese.com/wiki/i … =Main_Page) and it was one of the best out there. So much so that even now almost 8 months after we left it is STILL the leading wiki site for the game. We believe in community. Helping the community with knowledge helps it to grow strong. We aren't here to "win" we are here to have fun, and a strong and growing community will enhance that. Hording information and tools that could help others is detrimental to that goal.

Actually when i was running Exile we decided to highjack most of the SC wiki content to create the exilegamers wiki for FE incase you guys decided to make it go poof like the TAO wiki. did.

also for the OP i think you shouldn't be making place holders on wikipedia until you have the article fleshed out in the basic form at least.

yup yup, that whole know your enemy really pays off, I was working on a new toon on New Virginia last night and while a Castel can do okay with 2-3 1st star havocs a prometheus can take like 6 of them on all at the same time while eating though each one in under a couple of seconds. because of the damage output and armor weakness.

you really dont have to have a encyclopedia to play the game you only need it for pvp, in pve you can make allot of mistakes in pve you can screw up your build big time and still be effective in pve.

pve is easy the hard part is the devs making pve challenging with out breaking pvp

Also in every game i played with pvp and pve, the carebear pvpers always end up ruining the game for the pvp players.

misses get really awesome when you invest in missile guidance.

With Navigation 10 and missile guidance at least at 5 you will be very happy.

Guidance 7 atm and i only miss some of the time.

with no missile guidance and 4 packs i would miss maybe 1-2 times out of a total of 8 shots(ie 2 vollies of 4) some times i would have more than one miss in the same volly because each one has a 10% base chance to miss per shot.

Eve reminds of me Sins of a solar empire

You know the problem is it costs EP to delete characters and it costs EP to test out characters

to be honest i recommend two things for new players: 1)make 2 trial accounts the one your going to test stuff out on and the one you plan on using in the end, dont make a toon on the 2nd account just let it sit after you activate it.  2) play the 3 races on your throw away account once you get adjusted to what you want to do and decide the game is for you go ahead and toss that account and activate your untouched account with all the ep you gained up to this point.

This inlies the problem, There is no Trial for the features in the game, you have to make a investment as a new player into skills you probably dont know about, with races you dont have a clear cut description of the diffrences, nor have you experienced the game enough to even understand how to mechanics actually affect game play.

They should make a "Training simulator" line in planet side where you could try out all the diffrent bots/mechs. at least the starter ones and the big heavies so players get a feeling for what each one is like because ultimately that affects your play style and choices.

Deciding which side i wanted was the hardest choice

Other than that the only time there should be any free resets is after major mechanics changes like the upcoming Seth/Gropho/Memsier balanceing suggestion.

What your talking about isnt "small scale pvp"  its solo play, and I'm afraid I just cant agree with rambo-style.  its an MMO.  Solo players never have the stamina to play for very long so I wouldn't want them to change a mechanic based on 'grasshopper' players.

SOLO players are one of the main reason the devs screw up a mmo

I could understand + 10% not X 10

Also Everyone needs to remember that a Small change in PvP Mechanics could be a large change in PvE mechanics and those players will start to complain.. allot

To be honest im surprised I haven't seen a "we don't like to pvp we should get immunity to mine on beta" thread, that every mmo with pvp zones has.

Care bears and Griefers are ruining every sandbox out there....

Isn't the terminal color amber? the bot color is yellow, that MK2 is orangy brown or browny orange.
