ya, but transactions can be fraction of a bitcoin, up to like 6 decimal places and fees will be much cheaper than CC or paypal.

with all the bitcoin craze going on, why not accept it as a form of payment. Might attract some free marketing and it's easy to implement.

They have a new mission system that doesn't actually require you to accept a mission - if you do certain things you work toward a mission automatically and the mission window guides you to what you would need to do to complete it.
I think this would be a good differentiation from eve and you could really make it work here. It would kill the idea of travel time and also spawn camping.
I like that idea. Maybe have mission assignments as a drop loot from npc, different npc different missions as well as rare mats from mining. It can then be activated.
maybe have the assignment drop rare component for new bots that will be introduced in the future
How about just reset mining field once a week, as in total respawn in random location

Following your logic, people who have more time to play in a given day be restricted as well because it is an advantage? maybe we should just limit everyone to 1 hour play everyday.
Or just remove npc plasma buy order at player terminal, now you have another added risk of having to transport to beta to sell it
Easiest ASAP fix is to first raise Beacon prices in Syndicate Store and then balance assignment rewards versus time spent doing them.
Adding restrictions on laying beacons is absolutely not needed. Balancing is the key here and should be done gradually.

C. Drive the price of tokens down. More supply pushes costs down further providing cheaper pvp ammo or kernels or beacons!
FYI, the price of tokens is not dependent on supply. Increasing the supply of tokens (as of March 2013) will only devalue NIC, which in turn will hurt noobs.
You can already see the effect that tokens are having on the market on the more rare items (ICE, Mk2 cts, etc.)
I disagree, the price of ICE and other things are being pushed down because of two things little pvp and unlimited supply of materials.
If anything, income from token is the reason ICE price is going up.
there goes the whole incentive to play on beta o.-
The risk is in actually farming the tokens though.

If you are only doing 5-6 beacons at one time you are way ("waaaay") behind the curve. You really need to look at your process otherwise how the heck are you supposed to process the thousands of tokens in any given day?

Right that's one of the only reason people are not doing more than 5-6 at a time. If it is removed and a person can go through a few dozen beacons every couple minutes then... you know what will happen.
Plus, Server might even die with a groups doing it
Instead of moving forward backward left and right at full speed all the time, what if you implement an acceleration/deceleration stat for each type of robot? and If it's not too difficult also maybe make A and D rotate instead of moving that direction.
This could create some interesting dynamics in combat.
Could use some more thoughts on this.
Also when redoing assignments, please take into consideration the extension "Parallel Assignment". If it won't be useful anymore then please refund the EPs.
Maybe generate some other stuff beside NIC
