And this is really stupid when two competitors decreases prices for their orders by 0,01 nic.

Even more stupid when I price match and come back 2 hours later and see the person I price matched from another location (Tellesis and Shinj) dropped their price 1 Nic.... Come on can you be more petty just pricematch, we both win. Or list 5-10 more of the item at a lower price and make me think its a third party. This is why I stopped seeding alot of items that my alt can produce. I saw an area that needs some items lets say T2 Light em guns, I produced 80 Listed 50 in Tellesis for 750k and 30 in ICSA for 750k with in 3 hours someone posted 200 for 500k in TMA.... ok I pull my advert and in ICSA and lower the price at tellesis to 500k, Hour later the TMA price is 499999. roll

Anyway BTT:

My market alt has max sell and buy orders and I've really only maxed out (no orders left) when the EVE exodus happened and thats because I couldn't keep ammo/Bots and T2 mods on the market. And setting up buy orders in all the mission hubs for ammo and recycled mats was too smart.

So looking at the global market graph, approximately 31600 wall structures has been sold, which means 1.56 Bn worth of walls in terms of NIC overall. Hence, anyone stating that they've spent several billion within a single corp should try to audit themselves...

Now further consider that since the implementation of the walls, the market has traded more than 100 M Epriton, which is worth 1Bn at a conservative estimate. (for those unfamiliar with the Epriton market, during a similar period previous to that approx 10 M Epriton was traded). This shows that these wall-corps have also gained massively from the reduced risk, so asking for a NIC refund seem kind of odd...

Right and wrong with the epi.... most Beta plays sold off personal stock to fuel the wall building madness.

Could it be linked to the combat log... Why not ave the API program just clip the last combat log into a kill mail even if the person got killed by NPCs but players were shooting at them 5 seconds before they popped.. Just my 2cents

What? Internet police!!! OMG first off this isn't an earth based game.... My Argano won't Freaking rust if I leave it out in the rain for 2 weeks, Secondly these walls have nano bots living in them and were ment to be persistant.

+1 to topic only thing to do now is rollback the whole system again. same with the original proxy detects.... I also spent alot of nic thinking that I could build some back up defences on Dom come back every few weeks patch some holes and be done. Now with out me babysitting my walls they are going to "melt"?
I like opening poster would have never dumped any nic in to my project if i would have thought it would need an up keep.

Honestly this is cramping my solo gameplay style anyhow. The Lobo is now on endangered animal lists all over Nia.... Dread my fellow solo pvper/scout you can just fall in to the mindless blob like all the rest.

Not to make it sound to nerdish but if each gun had an optional load from here slot in your cargo hold like a secondary cargo window that lets you pre-split stacks for each weapon or load a second type of ammo when I reload... Like I have magnadart loaded and a bapho pops up on my overview by pushing (B) manual reload it swaps all my guns to the predetermined secondary cargo ammo type in my case chemo or UDC. Wouldn't take away problems wouldn't add them either. Splitting stacks is really just a personal math problem and in PVP if you didn't bring enough for 3 reloads of any type you deserve to get caught with 3-5 of your guns not loading and fishing for rounds.

For you "I read in to things" people I'm not asking for more cargo space just a second screen that allows me to presort my ammo to weapons.

Heck make it a skill tied to range or faction and make people spend EP on it if necessary. I have no problem walking from one end of the world to another to pick up an Item but if it may or may not be there at the price im going there to buy it for by the time i get there i just wasted a bunch of time for nothing.

Worst experiance ever..... Moving 2 lithus over to shinj to pick up minerals.... watching a TOG lithus train drive out of station as I get there and checking the market to see the minerals were gone sad

Don't know how hard it would be to code this but here is my idea for the levels of access control then have the selling and buying tied in to the sell order and buy order skills as they are.

Skill Remote Buying/ selling; SKILL LVL 1 or 2

LVL 1 = Same Island main terminal access (Meaning I can access from an outpost on that island)
LVL 2 = Remote access to All A1 terminals (cross islands)
LVL 3 = Remote access to same island A1 outposts
LVL 4 = Remote access to A2 terminals (cross islands)
LVL 5 = Remote access to all A1 outposts (cross island)
Lvl 6 = Same island B1 Main terminals (Meaning I can access from the outposts on that island)
Lvl 7 = Remote access to all B1 Main terminals
Lvl 8 = Remote access to same island B1 outposts
Lvl 9 = Remote access to all B1 outpost (cross island)
Lvl 10 = Remote access to B2 outposts (Cross islands)

Edit: Devs these extentions or the idea of letting us sell and buy from distant locations are a huge driving factor in stEVE's in game economy. So much so that people only play the game as trader/haulers checking the market, placing distant buy orders, creating a player made contract to have it moved across the universe, and selling it at a profit after paying for the transport. This could open the game up to the market manipulators and transport players.... In that other game just having the abality to see another regions market was a skill.

+1 for remote purchasing and selling by way of skill tree.

Should they be fully destroyable? There is several possible ways I see. First one - everything can be destroyed fully - no pain, no gain. Will cause alots of drama all over the game tho big_smile Second one - all but Main Building - after attackers are left, you still have something to start it again with. Third one - all the buildings can be wrecked hard making them inoperable but no full destruction - repair them back when it's all ends, or give someone else to do it - then they will own your lil townie. And fourth one - everything but Main Building can be destroyed, and Main Building can be wrecked only.

Great Ideas Line smile +1

Heres my thoughts if attackers destroy every thing... Main building goes in to emergency defense mode and boosts the sheilds up to some crazy # how ever this will only last 12 hours and gets a % weaker every hour. Lets say for ballancing reasons as of right now Mk2 heavys are the best we got... Make 10 Mk2 heavys pound on an main building around 2 hours before sheilds fail when sheilds =100-90%. (I don't know of any corps right now that could field 10 mk2 heavys or the support that would be needed for a fleet like that.) This would mean that the attackers would need 1 mk2 heavy and some mechs 12 hours after they killed all outter lying buildings. Plenty of time for you to arrange a counter strike or new power source.

Also I think we should have power grids and generators placed near the mainbuilding with good HP but low cost (player built)once these are hit lights out in your main building, after 3-4 hours of back up power you lose options to recycle, refine, start factory, ect.

Tl;DR
Generators to supply power to PBS high, HP low cost and player manufactured.

In general, I don't like EP threads. The whole game is about persistance, and that centers around 1 EP per minute of subscribbed time. Regardless of the thread being about new players trying to buy up or old players trying to buy back, its about trying to manipulate the core game mechanic to get around it's limitations.

QFT
Arga as always has a great way of explaining most things this is one of the ones that is a 100% correct answer.

Sorry I do like the idea but I must go -1 I to lost about 2 weeks of EP when I had no interwebs at the house due to public works blowing our entire city block main phoneline boxes, but I lived with it.

I will say on the propaganda front you guys are for sure winning, just like PVP, you blob the forums just the same.
On a epic side note, of notes:
Saps and Sap visibility is just fine.  Balance for the attacker and the defenders. Both have to work to get the times and to see/ know what one is active.
Have a wonderful Day!

Its really something that you have to chose yourself. If you want a small group like 2 corps to defend your island than you need to look at B-2 islands if you have a bigger nap/alliance then a B-1 is more fitting as you can put all your smaller corps in the beta terminal and just give them docking rights at your OP. You can always go back to Nova.?

Alternately, if you are in range of a detector, and there is some visual indication of such that you know there's one around to start searching for, that would be OK too.

Like a bethesda game that most of us played until we got an arrow in the knee? But I do like the idea of knowing if you've been pinged by a proxy or detector bot maybe a small Icon lights up when your pinged by either. Only turning on when your detected by a module not by standard masking vs detection.

+1 on a side note Devs please look at the 1000m from base restricitions on planting incubators who cares if i want to put 20 noralgis and 200 triandulus under an outpost (if its fertile) enemys will be happy to come and shoot it all the same.

Yeah testing on a dedicated test server the weekend before a patch would be nice hold a lotto or sign up and have 25-50 people verrify that they can test on that date and time and what they will be testing and seed the test server with what you need tested if they need a only a light bot and 20 proxy detectors or a heavy with an arty cannon strapped to it.

Its really catch 21 on this anni.

If they temp blue you and you get killed by another corp on their island you feel betrayed and put it on blast that they set you up.

If they temp blue you and you get in station buy and sell for a few weeks then leave your alt their and now get contacted by lets say a 3rd corp who gives you large ammounts of nic to pull all your orders and buy all the "internal" alliance orders and give them intel on what fleets move where. The OP owners got set up.

It really is best to use verbal agreements (TS3 or vent) and get stuff done with temp blue status and maybe an armed guard.

Was also common in that other game to see stuff seeded in areas where it was NBSI for very cheap or a buy order that was too good to be true just to get some targets on the map.

+1 for more corp controls of any type.

Lupus not going to turn this in to a personal attack as you would like but twisting the killboards in to outposts being assaulted have some relations but not as much as you are weighing on. And what normally happens to the population after a patch? wow thats such a deep connection.

OP said it that saps aren't being ninja'd or contested like they were when it was Island wide. I agree 100% and like MrCeeJ said I also used to go solo scout islands in the off chance that I might A. get easy mode loot or B. Find targets for my corp who play in a later timezone. The mechanic of makeing the defender DEFEND for an hour is there for a reason. I'm not asking to know what sap is up in 3 hours I want to know if a sap is up with out going in detection range of a station. If i want to know when it will be I have no qualms scanning it I did that for 2 weeks on Dom during christmas and new years.

As for 50% being the magic # yeah it is auras don't matter here I'm not contesting that your taking a station for an aura but don't be ignorant and change the subject at hand solo players don't want to come scan a station that is A. Guarded B. can't be docked and C. Has no quick escape routes, that said 50% is the magic # as it grants docking rights. I'm not arguing the point that guarding your station is your right. You said it yourself that living solo on certain islands in certain timezones is easy, but dangerous. Should not the solo player get his reward for risking his solo hide?

Hopefully PBS will solve this ignorance.

Devs I'm not saying it was knee jerk as I guess that the proxy detectors were supposed to help this cause but we're unbalanced

+1 for the Idea

-1 on the its not really there Idea as loseing your bot + your crap or someone elses is your punishment for being dumb and getting caught. With the new crazy Teleports just haveing some one move my market ordered crap from hersh to tellesis would be great.

kustom wrote:

They should be able to be made anywhere and go anywhere but their guns will only fire on Beta.

How about bots that only receive a bonus while on Beta islands... That means the Bot collecter on Alpha can build it and sell it but not reveive any bonus unless it hits the shores of a free fire island. Not some crazy 25% more dps bonus either. The community is still waiting on these Stealth vs Speed vs Damage vs Tank assaults that were talked about oh so long ago. How about a few more toys to dig in the sand even tho most people don't like lights and assaults the way some of us do I think that would be the best starting point as it gives New players an broader selection of paths to take early on.

Just a few thoughts.

A. Kill is dead on that PVP has now become ill, It was ill before I2.0, I2.0 was a booster shot that is now wearing off. If the "easy mode" sap intrusion event was too easy why were people atleast poping threw the Teles. M2S hit South Iset atleast 3 times a week and Morte was playing on Dom often. 1000m is crap I understand that some of the OPs have saps in the same zone as the external TP, I was living in one for 2 weeks at Koykili, Hell you can see the specimen of Koykili from the internal TP. If you want that OP then you have chosen to deal with that possible threat.

B. 50-60% is the magic # on OP stability once you get it to there you can basicly just not worry about your saps unless someone gets you under 50 and you have to worry about docking intruders. This is the real underlying problem, I'm not risking my solo bot to come scan your OP to check for a sap that could be 12 hours away and if im caught im -1 headslot for the stupid geoscanner. Unlock the OPs and make docking be a NIC thing. If I'm red to your OP i can pay 1 mill each time i dock yellow =500k. Just my 2cents on that. I would risk going to your OP to scan if I have the chance to re-fit and fight my way out.

C. Who ever says living on Beta is hard..... roll I lived there solo at Koykili for about 2 weeks and only died to NPCS in those 2 weeks (NUB PVER)

TL/DR
OPs shouldn't be locked but be pay to enter and SAPS shouldn't be so masked maybe not island wide but 1000m is crap.
