If your Planning on doing industry on the same character then your attribute choices won't *** you. But doing both on one char is stupid and you will be gimped in everything for a couple years.

How about shield generator? Small shield generators arent fitting assault bots, only lights. But for what goddamn reason light bots need shields?!

Ral, right. I'm just saying that miners can skip putting EP into Accum expanding extension, which does improve remote repping, and stick with rechargers; its optional now, which means some miners may not do it and it will make them less effective reppers.

How does putting less EP into accumulater expansion help remote reppers?

I don't know where some people on these forums have learned their math (Maybe Hungarian tudors?)but a 50% increase is not double. So, if the Devs are to compensate equally (which is what the wording of the blog suggests) you should see a decrease in mineral regen of ~33.333%. This isn't just directed at the post above me but I've seen these mistakes being made in this thread and others since the blog.

Ex: You have a tile that gives you 10 units per cycle and regenerates 10 cycles every hour, giving you a total hourly regeneration of 100 units per hour.  If you increase your yield by 50% per cycle you now have tiles that give you 15 units per cycle and a total hourly regeneration of 150 units per cycle. In order to keep the old total unit regeneration value with the new cycle yield you must reduce the cycle regeneration by ~33.333% giving you a new cycle regeneration rate of ~6.6667 per hour.

It seems more likely Alex that like resistance plates there will be both specific and universal variants.

Not 100% but I do like the idea of a signal detection penalty.

I'm with glimpse. Please do edit out your breaks. You can take them without us going on one with you. And with the current player provided it is a pain in the *** to fast foward past the break but not miss anything you guys say.

I will definitely be putting one in my long range gropho fit, I already know what module I will be replacing as well. And depending on the weight(not all leg slots are heavy) I will probably be using one for a roaming setup on my tyranos.

Arga the stabilizer is a leg slot. So the sacrifice is defence not weapon tunings or range extenders.

Looking at the evasive modules it's probably going to be a static reduction not a %.

Hmm, interesting topic.

Current pricing models aside, what would players be willing to pay for a LTM?

What if there was a one time offer for a LTM and a customized bot, or some other unique item, would it be worth more?

*** that. The only thing AC should be selling is subscription time.

actually, we can send both, energy and matter through the wormhole.

at the beginning of the invasion, earth has sent nano-drones (the sparks) because the wormhole is to small for anything bigger.
now, that we are actually using their TELEPORTER grid and building all those stuff that transforms matter into energy and back - theres no reason we cant send bigger stuff through.

i would say the matter-energy transfor just doesn't work with biological lifeforms smile

That's a good point I didn't think of that.

New things have to somehow merge in with the lore.

"You" are nothing more than an energy signiture beemed through a tiny black hole.

There is nowhere to Implant anything. The concept of additional programming added to your spark makes sense for extensions, as well as the fact that it takes time for your spark to grow in power (ep/sec) to accept the new higher programs.

Implants work in Eve, as well as the concept of a pod, because you have a physical body to upgrade. Physical upgrades to bots are modules.

A new system of 'implants' doesn't fit the lore. Something that has to do with quantum dynamics, electronic engineering, or computer programming would be a better name for a new system.

How would we get this wet gear to our bodies? Obviously the current in game crafting would make no sense, seeing how nothing but energy signatures can be sent through the wormhole. It seems like there would need to be another form of currency we can use on earth to purchase these upgrades and another system to acquire this currency.

There has been topics on this already but +1 all the same.

+1 for player taxis if I can get people to follow me to beta islands.

A group would loose out by having to wait for a respawn, whereas a solo player will be busy all the time.

How does making group play worse make solo play better?
