Здесь можноосвобоить (missing space and letter, "можно освободить") эти ОР и потратить их снова на любого активного персонажа. Стоимость этого процесса пропорциональна возмещаемым ОР.

If i'll create a character, will i be able to create another one with the same name, if:
1) i'll rename the previous one
2) or delete it?

Mining is fine, don't touch AFK-mining. People that want to do mining usually expects exactly this. And if they want something more intense, they won't do mining.

What is pain about mining though, is that when you using a specialised mining bot, you need to either go to the terminal and back very often, or use containers and hauler bot later.
Don't want to write how is done in other game, but can't those containers have legs and go to the terminal and back by themselves like NPC? lol Or the can cannon to shoot at the terminal. Or mobile gate Field -> Storage. Or...

Wormhole space is one of the few things i've liked in eve.
We even had an internal software tool to make a map of today's routes. Filled manually, of course.
That's when i liked both pvp and pve.

The rumor about "wormholes in perpetuum" might bring many to check this out...

Same.

In eve it was discussed and currently works that non-populated systems after 30 mins of inactivity they go in to a sleep mode. Which is why after dt you log in and try to jump you get the wait a second message while the system boots. Same for wh systems through the day.

I'ts better be vary careful when looking on things in eve.
Because they play it cool, as if they're coolest developers with their game, but actually is an everyday war to make eve not to lose too many players, so they'll have money for tomorrow.
They might have some interesting ideas which developers might use in perp their own way, but there's not much of them. Like fitting or time-based progression. The second one seems to be better in perp.
But taking too many of them can lead to the same den they are. Which might be too deep for a small team. It's not even because "stealing" is bad.

I agree. It'll be very good to have group PvE activities. I'd like both, alone and with group depending on the mood.

Any ideas how to make incentives to group up without making ones to multi-box?

Like with PvE in shooters, where you need other people, not more windows... Without making a shooter, of course.

Does logging in and out for ep count?

This is quite a lot, actually. To remember doing it for years. Can't imagine myself playing without a booster...

It's not a big inconvinience to have such restarts, but i can't see the real reasons for that. Although i haven't seen most of the game yet.
But as far as i can say, is to reduce lags (which i'm not having). But if restart fixes the lag then there can be 2 things that causes them in the first place:
1. The server can't handle all the online players and alts, and after restart many of them are offline.
2. The server software doesn't clean garbage from memory, so the memory leak is taking place, especially after something intense. Code should be cleaned, or else it may lead to the bigger problems in the future.

Freelancer corp list, if anyone cares, is also a bug that can be fixed.

I'm not against this proposal, but i can't see how can it really help. A little or not, it's inconvinient, after all.

Too broad? Many interesting games have mixed genre. Instead of straightforward RPG, RTS, FPS, when is often no need to even download it if you've played one or two most popular of them recently.
So i can't agree with it. If some expirience is incomplete then the obvious solution is to improve it.
EVE players don't have this problem. Some says that this is a pure pvp, but there's many people out there who aren't pvp players. It's hardcore PvE, in wormholes and other new stuff with all the risk, logistics and teamwork. The market and trading alone is for some are reason for playing. And a lot of professions, like exploration, mining, transporting... And comon trolling topic from those who sees only hardcore DOTA in these 2 games, especially EVE as there are more things to do and more trolls.

I didn't have any problem understanding of what Perp is about. At all. And there weren't any problems in EVE when i was 17. So it's nothing to worry about. The exact genre doesn't guarantee that all people who buy it will like it, and there's always some stupid kids who'll whine anyway.

Well, if anyone need some genre to present this game as then "too broad" might be the right one. Or just a list of other genres elements. Because it's the major thing that makes this game unique and interesting. Because if you just say "RTS", or "Action" while telling about this game to the friend, he'll show you a better mainstream "RTS" or "Action" and be right in his own way.

Spending that much money for multiplayer game to play alone, not too appealing.
This true or people just hiding in shadows smile ?

In terms of multiplayer it's easy to find people, internet friends to play with. It'not a lot of players everywhere, but you can find company. Many players aren't in general chat, because why should they...
But anyway, internet friends not as cool as one buddy from RL in any game.

In EVE, these restarts are necessary, because they're required for various things in game, such as ore field regeneration.

Some time ago they've talked about major decrease of DT time and that maybe one day they'll get rid of it entirely.

So the fact that something is in EVE doesn't automaticly makes it a good thing.

And it's for devs to see if restarts are somehow reduces the lags. Because it may have no effect to anything at all.

Combat bots with industrial tracks and wheels looks interesting.
Like Arbalest+Argano/Termis.

Set the real date and time in game. And a GMT offset in options.

It's more annoying than immersive thing. Calculating a real datetime in various tables or checking the current one.

If someone wants, leave the switch in options for real and "stardate" datetime.

Have bought a new one to check... Interesting.

And what makes them became like this? Time, damage, distance traveled, kills?
Can it became paintless later? smile

This is a trick in crappy games which are boring, but if it's just 20 minutes a day - it's doesn't look very boring.
Like eating a barrel of *** with a tiny spoon smile
This is a sandbox game. Or at least prenend to be. So let's people decide what to do, when and how much wink

The marketing part of the game is heavily underdeveloped. I know it sounds boring, not as cool as an improvements to PvP/PvE, but without it there won't be many players, because it pushes people off. We're losing a large part of clients on a stage where they haven't seen a product yet.

It's not requires a lot of money and dev time to try a different sales model at least for a limited time. For example, make the game free, with premium stuff like booster, give the current players a booster for a few months. If it won't work, revert the changes, without deleting any new accounts to not damage the reputation.

Price for buying the game which you may delete after a few hours is too high for some. BUT the price for 50% booster for a main account in the game you like - is cheap. Think about it. It's much more easier to buy a booster for some months than buy the game in a first place.

This is the trick that developers do when game have no better reasons to keep playing except for a lot of daily stuff, so you forced to login everyday to do the same boring stuff instead of deciding when and what to do yourelf.

If we're talking about this "things" of f2p games then we're better talk about other things from them first.
Like make the game free, with premium(booster). Both more players and proffit. I would not buy this game if I would not play it free on beta back in a day. And of course if not for some miracle like a banner in steam in one of my rare logins in it. I think every player here is either from beta or because of miracle with this selling strategy...

So many times i've spend a lot of time and money in a games which were free. About $1000 in one of the browser games recently, and $300 in another f2p. Have to quit because of this daily boring stuff and because they're time-consuming, which is bad for business and everything else. I've never bought any games from the start, because it's literally means for me paying for the product which will after this consume all my free time without any benefits, and it'll be hader to quit quickly because of the investment. But when i've already playing for free and "on hook", buying stuff means convinience and saving precious time.

Since when piloting a human-like robots is not a normal life?

Zoom,  i assume you understand that game will be popular only when there will be an advertising. It's just the way the business works. If you decided to develop the game now and advertise later, then it's fine, but don't forget that low online is because of marketing, not because of the game itself.

And by the way, with the time based progression some offline players are still with you. Unlike other games, where long offline usually means quit. I play very rarely, but reading the news and have a booster for next 2 years smile

General chat: i'm not using it too, because it's distracts. For thise who want it non-exitable, i can remind that you want it because you want to see how many people are online. Shouldn't you ask for the online counter somewhere on site instead?

Whiners

Maybe just boost Arkhe?
Make it a universal and good bot for newbies. That way they'll have more interesting bots to go for on their own (lights and assaults). They'll use it for mining, missions, or even PvP. Make it less dependent on extensions - good as it is, but not too good with vet extensions.
