Honestly it depends what you want to do.  If you enjoying play by yourself in a mmo, then yes it is a great time to play.  If you want social interaction with people, then no.

Since when social interaction with people means playing videogames?

It's sick smile

I've heard that for the last 3 years since i've sold all my accounts, the PvE is as boring as it was, and still no WiS.
So no, i had more enough of this even if i'd had so much time for games.

In other news the 3 day login requirement should be now off, we'll see the next morning if the change really worked.

Don't want to be that guy who reminds the teacher collect homework due today but....

Didn't you just hurt yourself with this change.  I mean only reason I keep 2 accounts sub is just in case I forget to log in.  Now why bother ?

Just a thought

But this change is temporary, right?

The lag isn't caused by the trees themselves, it's caused by the extreme lack of bandwidth for those having this issue. About 30-40 kilobytes/sec would be needed for you to get all the updates of the game world. As long as you don't move, or move around in an area that you've been recently to and don't need an environment update, it's fine because the movement of other robots doesn't take much data and those having reduced bandwidth can live with it. But updating the terrain takes the most bandwidth, so when you encounter new plants, or battle around trees that get hit, or plant noralgis and you get lag, it's because your client doesn't receive the environment data fast enough.

Or it's because the server doesn't send the enviroment data fast enough.

I don't know the details, but what i've noticed about the business is that you shouldn't ever expect or wait for the service you using to became better than it's currently are. If they've failed you so badly this time then most likely it'll happen again in the near future. So just change it, for the future, for the game's sake, without any regrets. No need to wait for any more damage for you business than there's currently done.

I'm with you anyway, with a year "subscription" for the start. But jeez, don't you have enough work already with the game itself?

Not really excited.  It's going to be a rehash of Korean grinder missions.  Oh you here!  Go kill 12 of this then 10 of these, next go there.  Hi, go kill 12 of these.

The problem is with your missions they are boring, there's no depth to them and everything's a fing trap.  Add something, something with meaning.  Connect the player to the game world.

I was thinking the same thing a while ago. Before i've tried Star Trek Online... With a lot of content and "meaning" in PvE. Most of the time in STO i've been thinking "damn, when will this crap will be over? Maybe there's something interesting after this...(nope)". So as much as i like the story and RP in games, i'd prefer a simple "kill this, bring that" missions. Although they can be improved by adding some fun stuff like minigames(hacking, for example) and group missions (but i don't have an ideas how to actually make group missions, not "multibox only" missions).

I don't care, i just want to see new content.

Whining or doing any other crap like this one won't do anything good.
If some of you really wants a better game, there is a hint: you're doing it wrong smile

Trees are looking good, and it's cool that they're actually growing and not apart of the static landscape.
So pleas don't remove them. Although obviosly this feature should be optimized, because LAG is a server/internet problem, and it's not because of the cheap computer.

Looks like it's a total mess in this game now roll
Well, good thing i won't be playing anytime soon(anyway, don't have time for games) and i hope everything will be alright, eventually...

someone didn't read the background story.
and well... that would exclude some WoW classes too, because they are "dead" by definition.

facepalm

while someone must have read it, but misinterpreted.

Nia's dominant "life form" is that they are a race of synthetic beings most similar to the human concept of "robots." Initial Syndicate reports concluded that there had to be some kind of undiscovered life on the planet controlling all the "robots" remotely

So they're hardly alive. They're machines operating by some aliens, or AI.

WoW is irrelevant. Even pigs can fly in these kind of games lol

Or the light/assault cockroaches?

emotes are for living beings. Not for bots, cars, or furniture.

Well, they can be done in the aproppriate way, though. An avatar animanion in the square window above the robot. Size of the window is similar to that robot. And a checkbox to disable them.
That way there will be some funny emotes, and some use for the avatar, won't take too much of DEV work (like the station walking), and won't ruin the game's atmosphere with wowanage.

Sounds terrible...

I've noticed a big FPS drawdowns when lots of trees are around. Near the training terminal teleport, for example.
I suppose that each tree has it's own shadows, and this is where most of the hardware power are going to...

Could be a cool game, but constant wipes once per half a year(or so) making it a pure waste of time and money.

And anyway, there's a lot of other games with a lot more development efforts are being invested. But for some reason most of them not even worth reading about.

Stop whining already, it's not interesting anymore... roll

I can understand the balance problems, but whining about one-two additional skills to train... Jesus fuggen christ, it's just bullshed.

More skillz please lol

And be constructive already. I haven't seen any balance/bot proposals yet. Except the trolling and whining about how wrong is everything.
