Yeah. I forgot to check on the perp data packet size.

Is there a max data packet size Zoom, so we can set the ping byte sizes to get a more accurate result?

Not a max one but I can give you an average tomorrow.

I'm impressed too. Cookies for all devs.

Or perhaps they prefer beer?

In that order, thank you.

Have you tried contacting Codeweavers support? Our code just does a basic standardized cap-check, so it might be their end or your end.

Fixed it with some help from AgY - sorry guys, I must've inhaled a puff of stupid at some point.

3)Camera control: There's a reason most games keep your movement and camera angle separate, or at least gives you the option to separate them. Left click+drag moves the camera, right click+drag changes your direction. It is a tried and true way to deal with camera v direction traveled.

Frankly we just took standard 3rd Person Shooter controls into consideration and built it accordingly.

The Devs are solid, they clearly enjoy their work and while still their choice for server location is a bad one from a latency perspective the actual servers themselves have been stable.

Bad one perhaps, but necessary one considering it's still the best option over here.

Done. This has to be some kind of record. Thx, Garg.

I still think it's a bad idea though.

The real thing is, you guys use VI and well everyone knows that like to use VI you have to be really hardcore.

Those EMACS kids today have it easy.

my boss gets angry when I tell him EMACS >> VI

That leaves me in ambiguity concerning which one do you prefer.

The abbreviation is in fact a reference to little known Mexican physicist Emilio Alejandro Coao-Sanchez, who made remarkable discoveries in the field of particle acceleration in an uncontained space, but was largely forgotten by the scientific community when his whitepaper revealed that said acceleration required large vertical distances and often ended with rapid stops, as well as atomic collision.

Sent a mail to our provider, let's see how far that goes.

I'm not sure about the timing for this cast, if it wouldn't have been better to wait a few days and cover the actual expansion details. Just going off the blog notes left a lot of speculation still, and its not likely the devs will change anything until we can report actual game impact.

Wanna bet? smile

We listen too you know. And I mean LISTEN. smile

This has to wait a bit, the annoyance is slightly more deeply rooted than it might initially seem. As soon as the revamp of scanresults happens, this will go away by itself.

Working on this now, might have a fix..

Out of curiousity, how many items do you have in your mission history on one single page?

EDIT: Disregard that, I su^H^H checked it. We'll be working on a fix.

the red light goes off, green continues to blink very slowly, lag n/a is displayed (as usual), the graph freezes, the red will sometimes flash, the active / GQI stay at 0 ... and that is the end of my evening

Mmmm. If the red light flashes SOMETIMES that means there's still some incoming traffic. This can mean two things:
1. The server is buggy and for some reason forgets to send any more of the important data.
2. The incoming network connection is lagged as hell and packets end up being delivered by paraplegic turtles on downers.

Were you using one client or two?

I like the idea, although I can see a myriad of ways where it can go awry.

Try the following:

1. Open the console (the `/~ key by default, you can reassign it)
2. Enter openprofiler
3. Watch the network tab, there are two blinking lights in the top left. Red one means incoming traffic, green one means outgoing one.

Please report the status of these, and the text ("ACTIVE / GQI...") next to it.

Chalk one up for Team Dopey - fixed and will be in the next patch smile

(I'll be adhering the Windows standard here, meaning thta clicking a column will make it primary sort, and the previous column becomes secondary.)

One of the bottlenecks we have with that is that right now we don't have the option to create a texture out of a corp logo - not a particularly big issue but we haven't written code for it yet. Once that's done we can consider placing them on robots, terminals, teleports, decoration, etc.

I remember trying to add this and then sorta failed for some reason. Not sure why. I'll give it another shot later.

I'm certain that at some point we'll do it on a merch level (we're really as massively geeky as you think), but right now I'm not sure if we have the resources (mostly time) to even do some shirts or posters.

Yes.

Hm. For some reason I remember adding that. Maybe it's broken, lemme check.
