Strictly speaking we don't HAVE to, but there will be some sort of parsable feed at some point. I haven't yet started assessing all the security conditions and stuff for that, and there's no timeframe, but I'm sure somewhere down the road there will be an API you can nom nom data from.

I have a contact who reviews games for a popular gaming website. I've reached out to her to see what she can or can't do.

First off let me say that we really appreciate the effort of making our game more known, but here's one thing you should consider: even if they review the game, it's unlikely that they will re-subscribe for another month and you'll lose the chance to get your 15 day bonus on that code. Of course if you don't take issue of that, than there's no problem, but it's something to keep in mind.

We recently appeared in Hungary's largest gaming magazine in a four-page spread review. We'll post pictures as soon as we cleared it out with the guys.

I blocked the feature to avoid confusion. I haven't figured out how to remove the link yet >_<

Yup, it has no effect.

What CPU do you have?

On another note, we do not CONDONE the use of VPN software, but right now (given that we're still running on a fairly unoptimized network) for some people that's the only way to gain access to the game. Because of this, it is TOLERATED, but it's not CONDONED.

At the moment we cannot do that, but it's something to consider.

And now will you add AOE weapons to light bots?  (Going by the pic in the blog http://perpetuum-online.blogspot.com/ it seems Arty is mounted on a Prometheus!)

Nnnno, that's just "whatever bot was at hand". It's just a trajectory calculation test, not an actual module.

The Intel GMA series don't actually support vertex shaders, they support the emulation of it via software.
Also, do note that e.g. netbooks (the main utilizers of the GMA series) only support 1024x600, which is less than the minimum 1024x768.

This only seems to happen to installing an extension, not upgrading. Just an observation.

Anyway, Lege, I did a bruteforce calculation of your EP from start to finish.

Starter EP: 40k (early access)
Time elapsed since: 49k minutes
Spent EP: 87k

(40k + 49k) - 87k ~= 2k, which is what you have on the screenshot. I can send you a detailed log on how much what you spent on what, if you'd like to check our numbers.

Can you provide a screenshot of your extension history + EP counter?

Which extension were you buying?

There was a bug with the first window which I'm fixing now, but you will never lose EP.

And do you get the runtime error too?

Better yet, can I contact ANY OF YOU who can reproduce this problem 100% in email?

There was an issue with the service provider that caused the servers to be unreachable for a time (about an hour I think?). This was particularly unfortunate because ALL our servers were cut off, which included web, mail, IRC, everything - we couldn't notify anyone, we couldn't contact anyone, so we were NOT happy.

Long story short, all robots lost during that period were reimbursed. (I suppose this is the equivalent of an Act of God in MMOs?)

Yep, true. But then why allow multiboxing? A player then becomes a scientist commando economist. But that's probably for another discussion.

Technically that's multiple players.
