I can't really see how this would be worth it, especially considering that very few rental robots would be returned (or planned to be returned in the first place wink

For the umpteenth time: it's not PO. it's P.

And here's your avatar in ossom hirez.

What to do in case you can't connect and previously you were able to do so or during patch times:

1. Check the server status or Twitter to see if this is a planned downtime or something we didn't notice. Accidental downtimes are generally rare though, croissants notwithstanding.

2. Join IRC to see if a DEV or GM is online and can tell you if something has a known problem. (Here's an archived link on how to do that.) We're usually on IRC to keep you updated during downtimes too.

3. Check the recent posts to see if a topic is already there about the problem. This topic will also get updated every now and then.

4. Wait and try again later - this might sound mundane, but in 90% of the cases, when you can't connect / log in, we're already VERY busy using black magic, crude language and caffeine to fix the problem.

I made the code slightly more safer in the last patch - can you see if it still happens?

I guess Safari doesn't have our certificate authority built-in - the issue also happens with Opera, so the only solution is to wait until they actually bother adding it hmm

The characters should be fixed now.

linux is like... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098987/quotes?qt0158335

Does it only happen when you attack something or does it happen when you just walk around?

Oh look at the top left corner, is this a vodka bottle? big_smile

Yes. Incidentally its contents ensured a fairly smooth early access launch. We all know what happened a week later when the bottle stayed intact.

not to be too hard on the devs as they have done so much with so few but I think we will have a significantly harder chore in finding a Perpetuum Avatar that actually looks reasonably good. Yeesh.

Considering what role your avatar plays in the game (= very little to none), I think we invested the correct amount of time in it. As soon as we have time for it, we'll do the necessary updates. smile

For the record, I have no idea what the hell caused it.

Please try reinstalling the game from the ground up.

O_o

This is like a drunk streetwise chipmunk reviewing the game in an elevator.

I just had an epiphany for a solution that might actually solve this problem once and for all. Stay tuned.

API is what I would consider a luxury feature, i.e. do it once everything really important is running smooth. The only problem with CSV export is that the data is paginated, so we would need separate server-side code that returns EVERYTHING.

Thanks for the help and tips!!

Nice, I'm sure all the script kiddies will enjoy that info and put it to good use.

Not if he opened them properly, i.e. outward only.
