3 of t4 universals offer more protection than 3 of t4 normals. Being 105 points to all 4 instead of 3 that normals offer.

Also, try them on Artemis for added lulz

Also, having no cap consumption, they are wonderful on any cap hungry bot.

Mainly, universals work on well only Tholodokend bots, tho.

Little like how shields work well only on Pelistal.

In current terrain settings, nothing of equal number can come even close to the pawnage the grophos can cause.

What has changed to missiles since that "past" that will make all missile fleet do worse now?

All missile fleet in current terrain settings is superior to mixed or all turret fleets by miles.
Something i predicted since beta.

And something that will change only with terrains that allow turrets to actually use the longer range they have.

Seriously, what were the people smoking.

I understand all the new pretty decos are pretty, and that you want to show them off, why don't you do it in alpha, where there is people to actually see them? And don't ruin the dynamics of the intercept routes and pathways that were well honed, tested and used in old beta islands.

Let me explain myself, why i sound so rude...

First of all, you ruined few rare places where laser users were at advantage, on the very island that suppose to be a laser race and all that. Hokkagoros; the Abdullah, Norway and Dramahaul stations used to have nice clean line of sight spots for some proper 800+ meter beat down.

It is already next to impossible to find a clear LoS of 1000 meters, some spots on old beta islands were one of those the places. The island were balanced without highways in mind.

Cover EVERYWHERE; the point of long range weapons is that you get your enemy in to open ground and kill them there. When there is a deco building every 50 meters, high alpha medium range weapons like EM and missiles will just be simply better.

The new betas, i don't care, they are decent, and were designed highways in mind.
On top of this, the changes on old betas were made hastily, many places are not polished and are just  down right impassably.

So to finish this, don't get me wrong, i appreciate the effort you guys put in to this, but the terrain to this game is more than just pretty eye candy it is to "THAT OTHER GAME". It holds grate tactical meaning and it is easy to break that balance.

PS: i don't care rates arse about the economical side of what Syndic is crying in that other thread. 30 second shorter haul time don't make rats arse difference. Syndic failed address the real issues i am addressing here...

I think it was the CCP who flipped the bird.

Considering i am 8+ year EVE vet, I've seen so much bird flipping from CCP its not funny.

To me, last nail in coffin was WH space un colonizable.

To others it was this creeping P2W system and dress up monocle game.

Perpetuum is full of possibilities and devs lissen to community. Good choice for eve exile.

Its not yet decided, and could be reverted to some other system, like energy credits.
You have to remember that these devs don't have CCP's bloated ego, and do listen to customers and revert bad decisions if need arises.


Besides, if the tokens are going to be tradeable for Nic, this helps prevent RMT while we are waiting for eventual plex system.

I will personally hurt the devs (few broken bones, nothing time wont heal) before i allow them to make transactions that resembles pay to win system in a game where you have sub fees.

But at this point, everything is pure speculation.

All in all, m2s are fine gents.
