I have to say no or (-1) as well. There's absolutely no reason to implement this at the moment with the current state of the game. The islands are small, and you can pretty much pinpoint anyone in the game by knowing what corp they're in and what they usually pilot.

I must say that the number of people using this feature would be very small in absolute meaning of the word, which means that currently it's not the right time to implement it. Maybe in the future, when we get 5 more continents, each  one as big as the current sum of landmasses and 1000% more people and some decent bounty hunting system.

I totally agree with you.

My idea for this thread was to give some player feedback for the SMALL features that players would request, if these could be done fast without impeding development of larger content.

So far i think the thread delivered tongue

- once an extension drops to the lowest level && that level > 0, do not show the downgrade arrow. Everything that does is confuse people and throw an error message.

Examples of these extensions are the ones gained by char creation and the ones that are locked in place because they're prerequisites for other extensions.

This could also be classified as a feature request, but tbh it's just broken or unthought of mechanic.

The only REALLY good argument for the freemium model is that EVERYTHING on the internet is getting "kinda free" these days and people are used to it. Services like gmail, twitter, picassa, and other obscure stuff i'm not even aware of, everything with a free model to attract people and the possibiliy of paid premium services.

What this model does is attracts people, who want to TRY something before buying it, and it brings them in masses. The model doesnt say that those people are gonna stay in game (though most often they do, see the DDO phenomenon), it does however open the influx infinitely.

Also very nice freemium ideas from Arga some 5 posts back.

- radar draws straight lines from last click point when you start drawing on it
- the radar lines sometimes flicker before they fade.

To stay on topic: all true smile  Market offers some t1 items in semi-quantities and some t4 being sold by ** tycoons, with other odds and ends in between. Moar liquidity is needed for any and all items, but it'll only come if player base volume increases.

- another request: you allowed dropping of single modules onto equipment window (which places the dropped module to the first available correct slot).
Please allow dropping of multiple items at the same time. It is annoying and time consuming that you have to drag n drop each one alone.

I was just thinking today about this very issue. ECM would be better in misc slots (and animation would be awesome too, imagine vagabonds waving "hands" at enemies like gorramn wizards tongue), i'm not sure about other mods as I don't use them.

However I understand the current system - you can either have good locking range, ewar range and only a coupole of jammers, or the other way round. I'd have to give it some more thought here before I support either way really...

- please introduce EWAR based sparks. (for strength, range and stuff).

- introduce the following mission scenario 1 for ewars: "take your light EW or EW mech and support friendly group." Upon arrival to mission area, the enemy group spawns and the friendly group spawns. If EWAR pilot sux or does nothing, friendly group loses 100%. But even a  small amount of ewar cycles can turn the battle around and the player friendly group wins. this can then get more and more difficult with higher mission levels. Upon either side winning, the remaining bots slowly disappear.  If enemy group is shot by team mates, they drop loot. Friendly group drops no loot if/when shot by team mates.

- introduce the following mission scenario 2 for ewars - tug of war: "take your light EW or EW mech and support friendly group." Upon arrival to mission area, the enemy group spawns and the friendly group spawns. If EWAR pilot sux or does nothing, neither side wins, cause they're equal in strength. Player needs to jam the opposing size so that the friendly group can destroy the opposing force faster and can thus advance on the field. Upon reaching the enemy side, the player group wins. Destroying any bot gives no loot, but the opposing base drops some nice loot.

- please introduce ewar tuners. let us have the option of choosing whether we want 3-4 semi-ok ewar mod (say ecm or supressor) or 1 uber mod.

Yea, but .... it doesnt DO anything, serves no purpose, beyond it being there :S I didnt say that it shouldnt be stated, rather that there was no reason to do it smile

In what way did this personal opinion require the creation of a thread?
