While i quite like what you're suggesting, I'm confused on one point: you would not allow any intra-continent teleports in this system?

If so - awesome, ppl should slowbot more in this game. If not - then nothing really changes from the current system.

And yes larger land masses (or tbh current land masses with MANY MORE teleport accesss points (but then this would also kill the meaning of separate defensible islands)) would solve a lot in ways of player interaction.

i'm just unsure as to how the current game engine can support it? iirc each island is a NxN height map with fixed N? If i'm wrong, then there's no problem smile

Hey,

I'd like to help with this project! My voice is like *** for Dj stuff ( never rly tried) and my spoken english is topped by my signlanguage, my experience is zero, I can't mix music (yet, this sounds fun, might learn it) and I have no idea how to stream music so that it appears on the radio.

But! I can have a 24 hr playlist of DnB / trance ready for rolling and I might even say some words here and there for the lulz.

I need to be hand guided tho, cause i have no clue what to expect.

If not accepted to the uberranks of Perpradio, I still wish you best of luck and I'm gonna listen to you all (at least for a while tongue, depends on music that's rolling).

It is my view that CIR is the new M2S of old. That CIR will use thru dipolmatic relations to attempt to be the lead corp. That CIR will thru the use of force to crush any restaince that forms, the same force as the head corp in the most powerful allaince tobe formed under the banner of war with M2S be used to wage unprovacted attacks on other corps that do not uphold the idelogy of respect to CIR.

Expectations: see stuff that's in development, getting the oppurtunity to terraform the *** out of attalica, meet gargaj in person and tell him to not be so shy, make him drunk enough to lose  his beard....SEE DREADDOUGHNUTS!   Annoy the dev team for Heavy Ewars and the bot segmenting that was seen in beta (mesmer head on me ictus torso on me arkhe legs), annoy whoever's in charge of content to start adding some content and use to the useless structures strewn across the islands (or hire me to do it) . Kick the guy in charge of 3d graphics engine (was it calvin?, sry my memory is too bad for names sad) and hurt him till he adds wind, lighting, storms, snow, hail, tornados, ... to the game); also force him to rewrite weather algorithm to allow for more sunlight in general and bloody less fog. It's like a goddamn life on the river Thamse in the mid 18hundreds all the time. I'd try to bribe the whole team to boost the vagabond ecm range , which is totally unneccesary, but I need to do something for my *** as well.

Also if devs are unwilling to make any reponse (official or unofficial - meaning they won't want to join their players for a beer at all) I'd be willing to come there just to meet all of you  players and have 2 great days. Please change this accordingly, as simply as the topic suggests.

In large squads, it's way too easy for all members who dabble with the radar to click on it randomly, so meaningless pings get transmited quite often unintentionally. This mostly comes from the fact that in most windowsTM windows, you need to focus that window before you're able to zoom in and out.

As all windows (or none) in perp are focused, the subconscious click automatically pings the map.

Double clicking the map would perform same action with no hindrance and would solve the above problem. Also double clicking in windows based system (also others) means taking action on the pixel that was double clicked, on the radar pinging is that action so in that regard the UI controls would remain consistent.

EDIT: not part of this topic, but multiple people have requested to have the ping sound on/off option in settings. Easy to do.

Probably not one of the most importnat things to implement currently, but improves the social aspect of the gameplay nevertheless.

No, -1, stuff. It would have created a completely new game, where terrain becomes irrelevant and jet packs a neccesary part of any fit. In time we would demand that every bot have jet pack permanently. Game breaking. No.
