Allow self destruct of bots. Instant feature with double confirmation required. Does less AoE damage than normal bot destruction (at least 50% less if not more) and does no damage on alpha islands. Also destroys ALL modules of that bot (so no loot). (people will feel strongly about this one tongue )

Bug for ammo not reloading reproduced.

If you destroy the enemy with the last shot of your ammo (so from 1 left in weapon > to 0; last shot), then ammo does not reload. It didnt reload if space (alpha strike) is pressed on new target either.



- another thing. The targeting comptuer still doesn't sort the targets in the order that they were targeted in. Is that intentional somehow?

Disagreed. You just compared one game's mechanic to another game's mechanic for which it has been on multiple times proven that it's (still) broken.


Compare it rather to the ladder of subcaps: frigs, cruisers, BCs, BSs.

These classes scale well. While higher classes get more DPS, they also get gimped in other areas so that their vulnerabilities can still be exploited (lower top speed, lower alignment time, higher lock times, signature resolution ratios,...). How many times have you seen (awesome) vids of groups of frigs or awesome solo cruiser pilots take down BSs? Too many times to count.

Your logic by comparing it to a broken ship (OMFGhitpoints, OMFGwinbutton, OMFGjumpdrive, OMFGdps, OMFGblob) is thus quite obviously flawed.  Hmechs do not have impossible to destroy buffertanks, tanks, dps or anything. Currently they're just gimped because of some general fear that they could become OP. Probably that fear comes from seeing Hmechs in big groups, but ppl tend to forget the interference issues within these groups. Also that fear might come from people not having proper skills to pilot them, while "certain" groups completely dominate the battlefields with them.

Last I saw a small group of lights and assaults took down a mech easily(http://perp-kill.net/?m=view&id=8824) and I have yet to see a lone Hmech that would survive that hound squad.

This game has more of a problem that people seem to think that in an equal number of players fight between hmechs and "everything_else", the "everything_else" should somehow have at least 50% chance of winning and thus every hmech gets prenerfed or nerfed. Now tell me, for a bot that takes "racial" robot control 8 or 10 (in mk2 variants) and needs advanced robotics over 8 to play properly, why would that class be balanced for a 50% win scenario? Seriously are you all ***? If you want 50% win ratio, then make it cost the same in EP and NIC as light bots and then it can be.

tl;dr: Personally I see no reason to gimp Hmechs (and no, I don't pilot one) with accum issues. There are many ways to counter hmechs in this game, starting with all types of ewar available.


And yes to comment smokey, his fit gets around the accum issues, but leaves the bot with so many vulnerabilities it's just laughable. And even he needs a support bot following him for "just in case" scenarios.


The bottom line is that Hmechs currently fill 2 roles: either supported by secondary chars (dualboxing or teamwork) for close(r) range engagements or long range glass cannons. Let's compare it with eve again: how many roles can the battleship size group of ships(meaning all different BS sized ships) fill? Fukcing any and all and they're still not OP.

Amm tehre's a difference between harvestable plantlife and "other" tongue they can limit the permissions for what can be shot with those.

- would it be possible to "trickle" the downgrade tokens as 1per 144 minutes instead of 5 per 12 hours?The ratio remains the same, but it's a bit more fluent this way, and it's sometimes better to wait for that "1" more than knowing you have up to12 hours wait for the next batch.


- now that we have more, better (looking) and ... more... plantlife, let hmechs and mechs (or just hmechs) be able to stomp (trample) the plantlife. Doing so should slow that mech by x % for y amount of time.

- also allow us to lock and shoot plants! It could have small AoE xplosion! smile

- Where sparks are listed in the "available sparks" section, please also include the one that is currently installed. Gray it out and print out "installed" over it. -> When I tried to switch the sparks for the first time I was afraid of losing permanently the one that was installed at the time, because it was not listed in available sparks.


- In the assignment map please allow the option to see passable terrain. (actually give it the same options as radar on terrain). People are mostly running with passable terrain on and it's "semi" annoying to have to figure out terrain because of a different presentation.

The last mission in transactions list is the one that is being presented on the left in assignment window, which says it should give 54k nic.

Either reward nic in transactions is wrong or the reward listed in assignment window.

- guns don't reload automatically. could be just me, will try to reproduce.
- The message in skills: "warning that you're going over 6th level an thus wont be able to downgrade" repeats for every level of skills above 6th. Above 7th level the message is redundant.

Tbh I wouldnt say it's the shields' fault.... but the armor repping is way worse in any game where tankbuffer >> tank. And iirc, armor repping was nerfed recently (armor repair tuning nerf). So people tend to use the thing that is >better<. Don't worry. Give enough whining, shields will get nerfed too (even though they recently got buffed tongue) smile

Now srsly: the intrusion was boring as ***, the footage was (oh rly) also boring as ***, so the vid basically served as practice for my premiere skills which are level 2. The video is in HD 1080, currently I'm unsure why youtube would not make the HD option available. Maybe it needs to process the thing or something.
