On average I do get more than 1% per 100 kernals though when it comes to T5 heavy mechs kernals more like 5-6% and once or twice i've been lucky and got a lot more. To suddenly get 1% when I researched even more kernals than I usually do in one go and receive a sudden drop to 1% when the previous low was 5% seems very off.

Kernels have a random fail chance and diminishing returns. Welcome to Kernel researching.

I'm not at the stage yet where kernal research suddenly slows. Also wouldn't the random fail be on a per kernal basis, it seems a bit odd for most of 100 kernals to decided to randomnly fail.

Also i've maxed out on many types of kernal research and I didn't experience this kind of thing previously. It's like researching 350 T5 assault kernals and getting only 1% to one of the primary modules those kernals give. That just doesn't happen.

I've been researching a lot of T5 heavy mech kernals, overlord heavy mech to be precise. I've been gaining a steady amount of research overall but something that doesn't seem quite right happend on the last 100+ kernals I researched.

Around 100-110 overlord heavy mech kernals were researched at once. I didn't receive much research atall overall, and I only received 1% research to medium missile launchers - This is the bit that strikes me as odd, i've never gotten anywhere close to just 1% per 100+ kernals before, statistically it just doesn't seem like that should happen. This shouldn't even happen with 100 light kernals, let alone heavy mech kernals, that give more research per kernal.

The devs will know the calculations and if that seems right or not, is this a bug that just wasted me 30 mill worth of kernals or is there any likelyhood of this actually happening?

Prices changed based on what I need. Now offering 300k for overlord heavy mech kernals but increased offer on overlord mech kernals to 200k each.

I'm surpised it took people this long to call for new landmass, I said long ago that this game badly needs more landmass by time it launches else the population will suffer.

I've noticed a new stat since I last used a shield generator, shield absorption. What does this stat do? I noticed it might be at something like 20% but and it gets lower the higher you train your shield skills, it even goes into minus.

WTB overlord heavy mech kernals 400k each - Only a few hundred required, take it now, I won't be buyin any more of these soon.

These are not special observer kernals, just normal T5 npc kernals.

Buy order set in TMA.

3 or so others made the same mistake, all were noobs though. Alex has now joined their ranks.

Confirmed, intended.

There are techs that you wont be able to research over a given tier3 from the faction's kernel, while other faction's kernels of the same type let you research further.

Confirmed that if one tier of npc (jackals for example) can give LWF research then all tiers of jackals should give LWF research? Didn't quite understand the point made as the second statement contradicts this.

Could a dev please confirm wherever if a certain class of npc should give a certain research than all tiers of that npc class should give it?

For example Veteran jackals might give LWF research but Supreme jackals don't give it? Even though they're the same class of npc and both have 2 LWF equipped, the Supreme jackals don't give it - Note that this is just an example. Is it supposed to be like this?

The overlord class i researched does. I've tested it with a lower tier version of this class and that gives it, so obviously the higher tier version should too. It would make no sense atall for the higher tiered version of this npc to not give it when the lower tier version does.

pelistals dont have t4 lwf research...
high speed is not a pelistal attribute

That's funny since many lower tier pelistal bots all give LWF research. I even know off T4 pelistal bots that give LWF research but they stopped giving it at T4 due to the BUG.

Is it really fixed? 0% LWF research gained from 100 overlord assault robot kernals says otherwise. I've used the lower tier version of these kernals on an alt to confirm that these kernals should indeed give LWF research. Not gonna throw away more kernals, there's obviously still a problem.

Will the devs stance on things like this be to remain completely silent? I expected maybe a fix for kernals not giving T4 LWF research this patch since nothing was being said on the matter.

So what happens if I reset an early access account? Do I still get the 40k preorder bonus EP aswell as the 7 days headstart worth of EP back too?

What if it's an early access account? Do you still get back the 40k ep plus 7 days early access EP?

Maybe the devs could do a database trick to see who is selling massive amounts of kernals, might locate a few goldsellers with it.

300 drone kernals isn't exactly a big deal,  maybe something should have been done then, but just because it wasn't, does not mean that nothing should be done now.

The fact is people have spent money, time and effort into getting this research and have not received it because of a bug. These people should be compensated. It's no different than NIC simply vanishing from your wallet.

It's definetly a bug, i've researched tons of T4/T5 npc kernals ranging across many types and nothing gives it. Pretty sure it's impossible to get atm.

A while ago I got most of my module research to T3. I then moved onto researching T5 assault kernals. I intentionally farmed the type of mob which I know gives lightweight frame research. A few thousand kernals later I could now produce many T4 modules - But one was missing, one of the best ones in my opinion - Lightweight frame research, i was still 0% progress through T4.

So after hearing a rumour that there's a bug with lightweight frame research I decided to do a test, on an alt I farmed some lower tier npcs of the same name/type as the tier 5 ones I was killing, and confirmed that these npcs are indeed supposed to give lightweight frame research.

What does this mean for me, and others like me? You're gonna have to research a few thousand more T5 kernals if you want LWF research, and this is only after the bug is fixed. There's nothing more for me to be had from these kernals except LWF, which I should have already got from it, so this is a real disaster for me.

It would be awesome if the devs have a way to check how many kernals you've researched, and then grant that research to those who should have already got it.

Such a sad story, i cried for hours after reading this!

Bugs happen, report them, move on.

This isn't beta anymore. Maybe you forgot that. I wonder if nic just started vanishing from peoples wallet due to a bug if it would be refunded?

My ISP finished testing my username, they confirmed there was an issue with how traffic was being handled on my account. They've fixed it and given it back and now all is working fine.
