Assuming he's using small lasers then he can't miss normally. Lasers have a hit dispersion of 3. The smallest surface size is 3. Unless the NPC bot is equipped with an evasion module, which I doubt many of them are, you can't miss with small lasers.

just to prevent wrong informations spread... smallest surface is 2.75

actually on my system running 2 accounts, my gpu temp rised to almost 90C when hologram is showed on my 2 screens at once (ie both char docked at the same time). Had to tweak fan cycle to get it to safer levels. Pretty strange that this screen is so gpu intensive. (far more than the outside world).

activate VSYNC

the terminal screen and the login screen actually dont need so much gpu power at all - but there is no frame limit in, so your GFX card renders that background with 300+ fps. And that is causing the overheat. (imagine driving your car with the lowest gear on high speed)

to bring one of the favourite messages in here:

unregular events makes macroing harder!

35minutes is allot of time. The AFK timer is 15minutes AFAIK. So if you are deployed and not beeing removed before the server goes down, youre probably did something that prevents it.

if your in a terminal, there should be no problem with that short notice anyway.

The login-lock is in there to prevent someone to log in, and then complain that he didnt get the announcement and running right into a npc spawn.

hmm, what your talking about?
full loot?

pvp drops is 50% chance if i remember correctly.

The game need admin privilege because persistants data are not in "MyDocuments" you need admin privilege to acces to "program files" folder inside an app

if that is true, then installing the game in any other folder should do the trick, right?

yes, for standard items that is true

im sure Blizzard is going to sue EA for using their Starcraft "Engine" on C&C titles.

its looks so similar, it must be the same engine!

according the player graph, prime time is around one hour before midnight at servertime.

The statement of the DEVs was, Bugfixes will be done when they are ready.
This patch contained several fixes for client crashes, so im kinda happy they made it before the next user-peak.

it depends where your using the lasers.

they do have an issue if you are shooting down a steep slope.
staying on a cliff and shooting down at something that is pretty close to you, just downhill will not work most time.

1. if you find a way to trade the equipment between your agents (eg. corp storage or field container) nothing speeks against it
2. http://www.perpetuum-online.com/Help:Na … he_surface

if your a solo-mmo player, then its definately no casual game.

In case the target gets out of your optimal range, the rate of damage decreases in the ratio of range, until the target moves out of the falloff range too. The weapon then stops shooting

the help doesnt say that the hit-rate is lowered, it says the rate of damage.

I understand the confusion, the word "rate" in there should be replaced with "ammount" or something to make that clearer.

also, falloff is not linear

you mean the grey tiberium?

That is because i don't think the console commands are published somewhere

type "list" into the console

Update news for 2010-11-23
Gameplay

    * Fix: Reloading a module will now wait until the current cycle finishes and initiate the reload cycle after that.
    * Fix: Improved terrain line-of-sight calculations.
    * New: Implemented dynamic NPC respawn times.

Assignments

    * Change: Lowered transport assignment money rewards.

General

    * Fix: "Most dangerous Agents" list didn't work properly.

actually, the dynamic spawn IMHO makes it even more profitable to camp the drone spawns.

you do

1. Transaction log in your player profile
2. action log on the lower right corner of your window, near the ping display
3. a sound is played too
