Just read the change logs, good job DEVs, I didn't find anything I can complain about tongue
Honestly though, those are pretty good changes and you've taken care of most the problems players have been debating in the forums about.

But then again... it's almost 4am, maybe I'm too sleepy to notice anything that "Grinds my Gears". Gonna wait to the forum debates starts up over the changes to chime in again. lol

Haha, nice service, but I think I'm better off buying a second account lol

Sequer drivers who do Transport missions. It's already OP as is, too easy, no risk, great rewards. (I'm talking about alpha island of course)

Yeah who ever posted that is a ***, there are no spawns in the tutorial missions that only spawns 1-2 mobs. Maybe he should try using his brain before crying on the forums.

I would think that they will soon figure out, no one in their right mind would be buying nic for this game. Since standard equip items are cheap on the market, nic is easy to farm youself, and there is no real need to buy nic.

But I guess you might have handful of rich idiots that just don't care and still buy nic to buy the slightly better prototype items...

Zhyntil your comments were directed at me for my callus comments toward that noob that created this thread, but even you must think he deserved it.

There are plenty of other posts about this issue where the OPs didn't threaten to rage quit if they didn't get their way. Other people offered ideas as to how to solve the problem of high lvl campers in noob zones, while that terd Sylvon Delvalle offered nothing but QQ.

So you see, you are really the one not reading here...

Hmmm, after reading more about this debated issue of whether or not you should be able to right-click delete all your cargo, I'm gonna have to change my position to NO you should not be able to instantly delete all your cargo.

Reminiscing back to my UO days one of the greatest joys was killing someone and completely looting their corpse to find some goodies.

I don't play often enough to really care either way, but this is more of implementation problem really (possible dupe bug here if not programmed right), because if you were to take an unbiased stance on this issue like I have, you will see that the PVPers and Pirates have a point here.

So NO it is not an exploit, but YES people should not be allowed to insta delete cargo in a PVP zone, or if they are flagged for PVP.

Nah you're prices are pretty competitive, $10/mil. Makes me wonder did them chinese farmers already program bots for this game.

Saw this on MMORPG.com

http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game … IC10M.html

will probably be taken down soon. was good for a laugh. I didn't click the link, maybe you shouldn't either.

Anyone stupid enough to buy Nic should get his account stolen.

I'm with the Devs on this one. Who says I can't destroy my own cargo? My bot is equipped with a cargo hold self destruct button. If I am resigned to my fate that I'm about to be blown up, I'm gonna hit that *** and watch my cargo go boom. lol

No safezones with some sort of outlaw system with really heavy handed police effectively locking known alpha pkers from the zone would be cool. Kill, but face the consequences of being forever banished. (or atleast making it such a rep grind as to make it a really big deal).

Doesn't Eve work like that, or something similar?

Dude that was Ultima Online back in the golden age of MMOs. I loved the system back then, if someone really pissed you off, you waited till they left the protection of the town guards and ganked them, looted everything they had and be labeled a murder for a couple of days. With bad rep came demised stats and you were a free kill for anyone. If you constantly did this it would take months to clear yourself, some hardcore pkers stayed perma red and lived outside the towns all together. They have a pirate city like in Pirates of the Caribbean movies, I forgot what that island was called. I loved UO...:D

ENCLV are crying because they undocked a Waspish from an outpost that had an Intakt outside and then went on to fight. Waspish can easily out repair the Intakts damage but 1 on 1 it couldn't kill it.

Then reinforcements rolled up and the Waspish as well as his Guardian Sequer (Yeah, a Sequer deployed to distract us in an attempt to get the Waspish PVP flag off) and both died.

Q.Q

Next time fit two amps and an ECCM. Would have been a different story. You could have at least waited out your PVP flag rather than keep aggressing. Maybe next time you bring a spoon to a knife fight you'll call primaries and maybe even kill someone before you all die.

Ahh, I see, I see, you could have just typed "We blew up their bots, so they are QQing" XD
Only thing I see that needs a nerf right now is the Arkhe respawn rate. Nothing like a never ending army of Arkhes to kill your day.

Great points there Annihilator however even with Waspish for example not using ECCM they can have locking speed increased and range reduced with a suppressor that has a base 70% to hit.  The optimal range of suppressor is 300m where the optimal range of missles is 150m-180m with a locking range of 160m on a Waspish.  Given that Ewar are faster, even without a demobilizer all an Ewar has to do is run out of locking range every few seconds to break lock then come back and keep hitting a Waspish.  Seen it happen.

The flaw in this reasoning is that no one with half a brain out there is PvPing 1v1 on a beta Island. Only people going around solo are arkhe scouts and patrols.

This is a Corp/Squad game, so balancing has to revolve around that concept.

You say they should go explore and look for other areas, most dwould not know where to go, many if told to go exploring would be dead from a star mech before they figured out how to target it. Go mining you say, ok, they have to go exploring to look for the minerals, same issue, except they are gimped further because they are fitted for finding minerals or mmining instead of combat.

I am not saying the whole game needs to change, just that us old timers and the attitude people have is a big part of the problem. I have been tempted to not renew myself because i know of people that have left after a few days of this, my friends are not here so why should i be?

As you say, "maybe they need to go play something else" and spend their money on a better game?

Isn't the point of the other missions to give you an opportunity to go explore and discover the different areas of all the 3 islands? I found my good farming spot while i was running a tutorial mission on an alt.

If they don't bother to try out the other missions, and see what else is out there, then there is not much left for them in this game. It is what it is, and it's not for everyone.

And you are right, I am an old timer when it comes to MMOs, been playing since UO (1997 I think) so I'm a bit jaded. But it just seems to me players today are mostly just a bunch of cry babies that can't adapt to the game and instead go QQing and threatening to quit. If you want to quit, do it, don't go to the forums and try to blackmail the DEV team just cause you can't handle a game with no instances.

I have to say that I'm not a noob in MMOs. I've played MMOs for years, in Daoc, SWG, Horizons, Ryzom, Lotro, RFO, etc. I've met many farmers and bots, but never like that.
I thank you all for your answers, it shows that Perpetuum has a very big problem of balancing. I hope the devs will patch it very quickly, before this reputation become well known and irremediabily unchangeable.
Good bye and good hunt !

Haha, just saw this, couldn't help but comment. YES SON, YES you are a noob in MMOs. Don't go listing games like you spent months or years in each of them.

Hi,

I have a mission spot where a farmer is killing all targets faster than i can lock one. I wonder if a solution is planned about it, because if all i can do is tansport missions, i won't stay longer.

Honestly dude, if you can't get around this "problem", then you should leave now and save some money. This isn't a game for *** and whiners that can't even make money on the alpha islands. I run a Waspish with a lock time over 10secs and I farm 100 rookie kernels an hour. How you might ask? Cause I'm not farming around the dam terminals all day, and I'm not doing the bounty/kill&recover missions like every other noob that thinks those are the only ones that raise your relation.

Honestly "Dude" the newbs have no where else to go when they are just out of tutorial, You are going further out, but if you take the time to read the thread you will find out that other older pilots are locking down newb mission areas which totally blocks off that mission area.

As you say this game is not for "*** and whiners that can't even make money on the alpha islands". I agree with you 100% anywhere except these areas where the newbs are still figuring out which end of the bot goes forward.

Stop wasting time on insults when it is a valid question and issue that has come up in thread after thread, and try actually reading the thread before flaming out when you do not have a clue what you are saying.

Soon as the newbs are out of the nursery, then yes, they need to suck it up and deal with it, or figure out ways around it, but having newbs get frustrated first on the field by seeing spawn areas full of containers and bots that are popped within seconds of spawn, then being told to F off in forums will make them do exactly what you ask, take their money elsewhere......to another game. As i have said before this will lead to a bunch of *** sitting around in these empty forums wondering why the game failed and could not make money.

You make a valid point, and I did bother to read your post, cause you seem intelligent enough to hold a conversation with.

My point is that if you can't even farm/do missions with bots and gears given then maybe they need to go play something else. I mean how much more help do you want. The tutorial missions give you all the tools you need to venture off into the game world without coming to the forums to cry about spawn campers.

And it's the amount of treads by noobs about this matter that has got me into flame mode. "Ohh no, I can't do my missions cause there is a jerk camping the spawn, boo hoo." QQ more plz.

It's called exploring the different facets of the game. it's not like they need to do missions to progress now is it? Oh you HAVE to do kill missions? Whats wrong with transport missions, geo missions, mining missions, and recon missions. Maybe if they spent some time exploring the maps they can find good farming spots. And EXP is automatic, money can be made everywhere, and there are plenty of corps around that give out free bots even mech bots now. All you have to do is participate in the game and not be a little whiner with his hands in the air asking for a hand out.

Solutions to this problem of high lvl campers in noob zones have already been suggested like raising the rewards for lvl 2 missions. The original post was so unintelligent that it just put me in bad mode. All he said was QQ I can't do missions, QQ fix it, QQ or I quit.

I also just quoted you to make my post massive.

I didn't bother to read the posts after the first post, cause the original post is idiotic. How old is this game really? Jesus, I'll just stop there cause it's not even worth my time explaining the rest if you can't figure it out.

Funny how I've never run into this problem on my main, where one guy is completely spawn camping ever single bot in an area. I've seen groups of people spawn camping and that's fine with me, I just move on to another spot. I've run into a camper or two when trying to re-run tutorial missions but again, patience and a keen eye lets me tag what I need and move on.

Then when I'm out farming on my main, I normally only see 1-2 other people in the area and there is plenty of mobs to go around, sometimes i have to back off cause I'm taking too much fire.

Here is a suggestion, MOVE AWAY FROM THE STARTING AREA. There are plenty of good farming spots around every island, take a walk and you'll find one all for yourself.

Why are people always trying to out-lock other people in an area that is camped? MOVE on, ohh wait, farm DRONES they are everywhere and guess what their kernels are easy, fasters and on a ratio of time/reward better than the higher lvl kernels if you are farming alone.

I've begun to rant, peace out, and stop with the QQ

Note: I think I clicked to fast when I was logging out of my alt and logging on my main. I tried to click on my character before it was done loading from when I logged out my alt.

I couldn't find any in the Bug section when I posted about it yesterday. So I take it there is no fix or way to get around this bug atm? I've tried to restart my computer and restart my internet as well to no avail.

If a GM/Dev reads this, plus kick my Asuma character offline plz.

Haha, you guys are funny. lol

So i ran into this bug today when I was logging out of my alt and trying to log into my main. I clicked on it and it just stayed in the Character selection screen. So I assumed a crash or something froze the game. I restarted the game, and tried to log on my main, and keep getting this "Character already logged in" error.

I can still log on my alts, and I see my main's name online in chats. Anyone else get this one before?

Just mark down the names of the idiots, and gank them later on. I've also done the Tutorial mission over 10 times on all 3 islands, and I've run into idiots that farm the tutorial spots when arkhe's are obviously just trying to finish the tutorial missions. But seriously once you get the Sensor Amp, you can out-lock them light bots and and assaults, cause they can't target and tag everything. Just wait for a fresh spawn when he is attacking something else.
