And just for that reason I know whatever they say will not happen.
Nearly every time they "say" this is what were doing next...some "super important thing" comes up and they "drop" everything they were doing just for that.

So when a Dev says "Oh yes were getting right on that" don't hold your breath.

This thread really is missing the fundamental point.

If they are going to keep "safe" areas in and around POS, and or, beta/gamma islands.
WITH OUT giving the defenders more to work with, all of this POS "stuff" will be worthless.

As from a cost vs reward stand point its just better to live off of alpha and *** those who "live" or say they live on beta's.

Safe Spots in beta = *** beta

Just to keep in mind...this game isn't in beta anymore...all of these really harsh screw ups don't go over well in a released game.  Sure you have the hardened players but even they have a breaking point where the game just isn't worth there time.

Oh and I don't know about you but I can GTFO with out crying...just seems most cant PLAY the game without crying.

Just because someone else is better at using a certain fit doesn't mean it needs nerfed because you cant kill it.

Can we stop babying the players and get some true "0.0" action going down.

I suggest there would be no "safe" spots on beta.
However, risk vs reward, ALL minerals (but titan) would be awesome there.  As well as,
the spawns would be farmable but there would be just a few but they are rewarded with 2x kernel drops.

Either that OR the devs just give us "new" islands, gamma perhaps, that don't cater to carebears, or cry baby's that lose a bot because they jumped into a "0.0" island.

Also if we can make it so the OP's are awesome as well...so they are actually useful.

My thoughts for making this great game....better

That is how this game is suppose to be played, by dumming down everything and anything that's too hard...oh and making betas in to alphas.
That last bit is at the end in the fine print.
