I am for a full robot role rebalance to make newbies relevant as anything besides cannon fodder as well as an evaluation of training time to effectiveness for them.
The key is to get new players involved in something. If you restart the game you will have the same problems after a while because it will become too difficult to get involved in the interesting areas of the game.

tbqh I am finding Skyrim to be one of the most overrated/overhyped games of all time.
The lack of polish in alot of areas is appalling. I can't play it more than 30 minutes at a time without getting so annoyed. I think I am done for good this time, Ill just play another game

The UI is terrible, I refuse to play it until mods are available.
Played it 2 hours, seemed like a nice game but I refuse to play anything with such a bad UI.

T4+ won't screw with the market, T4P will. The market is one of the little bits of sand in this "sandbox" game. As soon as you start interfering with it like this, what sand do we have left?
Leave the economy to the players.

I agree with almost all the activities that a pilot can perform from the turtle shell that is a shield except: Demobilization.
While a shield is activated: - a defensive turtling posture -
Electronic pulses that cause havoc with another persons electronics (suppression, ECM) can be reasoned through.
Effecting another pilots energy with a device that removes his accumulator (drainers, Neutralizers)....questionable but I am still on board with how this makes for good game play.
Weapons that cause DPS to a target (turrets, launchers) should not be allowed, and currently are not: spot on.
Demobilization is defined as a super heated pulse that overheats the mechanical nature of the robots joints, slowing him to a drastically reduced speed.
I consider this ability to be as much of an offensive action, and as effective as applying DPS. In description, it is almost as focused as a shot from a laser turret.
Considering the aggressive nature of a demobilization module, it should not be among the allowable modules for activation from under the defensive turtle posture of a shield.
If they did this then shields should also make you demob immune.
And why stop at just demob? How about ECM and Suppression as well. Drainers and neuts certaintly as well.

Where kains nerfed because of the metagame (everyone and their dog was piloting one) or because they were actually imbalanced?
I agree with the T4 em gun weight increase, not with the last decrease overall decrease. I don't know how I feel about the EM gun dispersion increase.

Thats because its not your outpost to decide, its the Syndicates
You can't own an outpost, however you can rent from the Syndicate and be their pets (sound appealing to you?)
Whenever you can build an outpost, THEN and only then will it be yours.

I agree. Those pesky miners already rob us with their bot prices so why not give PVE guys a way to make a pay-back.

I like the idea, but it should NOT increase the amount extracted. It should be the same as if you were mining all the tiles normally.

Right, to understand optimal and dps better, we should just do DPS*optimal and see how the weapons score:

Blue/yellow can be measured this way, but not green. Green is probably the most difficult color to balance correctly.

But he compared all long range weapons together so the long range missiles should be doing around 10% more damage than they do now and that would be more balanced. Compacts are fine but could do with a 5% or 10% boost.
Should all weapons get an equal return in all areas going from small to medium? Other colors do get the increased range, but it is harder for them to use it. Thats probably why a Tyranos does similar damage to a waspish when using ballistic missles.
As a pelistal pilot I am pretty happy with compact missile DPS (similar to the DPS you get from EM guns / HCLs in similar fits / skills)

It's all swings and round abouts. Pure DPS means nothing if you can't apply it. Missile DPS is lower but better because the chance of missing is much lower
Medium ballistic missiles do 7% more base dps than light ballistic missiles. (I'm arguing that medium missiles dps is too low)
Yes, thats what compact medium missiles are for.
There is no light equivalent to medium compact missiles.
Ballistic misses main advantage is range, not DPS. Their range compounds with the LOS advantage significantly. If they were buffed, they would no longer be balanced. Green bots / missiles are best suited to long range artillery style fits, but can also be fit for close range DPS using compact missiles.
