I think its fair to see a cameleon shouldn't be able to permajam a heavy even if the heavy doesn't have ECCM's.

I personally think that this is a problem with heavy and mech base sensor strength rather than ECM.

I'd love you to link the killmails of NSI and Ghost that we created. I think there's a total of 5 assaults if that. They didn't get stomped by us, they folded because they had terrible participation. NSI in particular talked about only managing to pull two termis together in a corp of 200. These people had no business being on Beta and nothing Joke did changed that.

I will say this - Gargaj strongly hinted that Perpetuum is going to be in the steam sale for summer which means we are likely to get another player influx. Why don't we all work together to get these guys fitted and ready on alpha first with a reasonable corp backbone and then if they are around in a month or so they may want to do beta when they have the resources to do so. Learn from our previous mistakes and get all of the games older corps to agree rather than the most arrogant.

So you have had long enough sitting on the fence Zoom. Make a *** decision already and either reimburse or not. Through all the trolling it is recognised there was lag in the fight and the video evidence shows how unplayable it made it at times but I can see both sides of the argument. At this point your indecision is worse than any decision you could make.

Grow a pair and decide already, your gonna upset someone either way ... just read your sig for solace big_smile.

Personally I agree. I would also like to see bot and mech prototyping removed from the game. Its an unnecessary barrier to early production. Perhaps you could reverse engineer one for a maximum of 50p and reverse engineer a proto for a maximum of 150p. Something along those lines.

Everything looked ok when i was using one account. When i undocked the other everything looked OK on that account too. Only when you look between the screens and see that they show people in different places moving differently do you see how broken it is.

This was the same issue I had during the fight.

They need to fix the server and put a 50% steam sale on for the next week because this game is losing momentum fast.

I would put:

Alpha 1 1 points
Alpha 2 2 points
Beta 3 points
Beta NPC 4 points
Gamma 2 points

with gamma moving to three at some point in the future but give the gamma guys some time to adapt.

I will say again imagine eve if everyone in game could move to any system with no check or balances.

Thats what we have in perp right now.

While this is true it was before both sparks and detectors. Reduce the availability of sparks on beta down to two and you limit the problem while maintaining some of spark's benefit.

Can we not make the changes something actually different instead of just MOAR damage?

I had the idea a while ago about having an on board teleporter but i'm not just saying that, something out of the box is all I would like.

If we HAVE to go more damage i'd prefer to have something that dramatically reduces speed (even to zero) for more damage. You can keep the tank big_smile

Just want to lay out some impacts:

Its very easy for an alliance now to lock out all the outposts and control the whole of beta utilising sparks and detectors.

Ganking miner squads will be also very easy due to the availability of bots

Moving spawns is going to benefit the defender rather than the agressor

Now more than ever sparks need changing. I would like to see sparks not work on beta islands but at the very least they need limiting to five.

I would also make the spawns static again on beta and set them on the old rates of renewal. Tightening the bottleneck will increase the pvp.

You are right, as of now they games future looks grim, but if this is the end then hey, i'm gonna enjoy it while it lasts.  Deal with it.

For me the issue is more the devs changing the game making base deigns of half of the games population useless while these people are away from game and without their knowledge or any advanced warning.

Taking advantage of the situation is I guess expected but counter productive and downright low.

The devs just can't make such fundamental changes without telling people and consulting without losing players in droves. If the game had an active player base stuff like this would kill it.

Like I've said for so long they need an affiliate system that allows website owners to make a monthly income from subs they have generated. At this stage of the game if they got as little as 50% off subs then they at least would have a game left.
