What would you gain, if you could buy extra EP? You could use a special fit a bit earlier, get earlier into HM MK2 but in the end, you can't get up EP, if those beeing in 1 MEP-Club spend as well some ICE to get double EP.

For most cases, you can say, that after 3-4 months EP your at a point were you can compete, if you specialised on a role. After 1 Year EP I think you could fill most roles with near perfection (if not every relevant externsion maxed, feel at least no big difference) and start skilling "sideroles". Like RR for miner char, Ewar for fighter, another bot color or something. That means if you really want to spend double the amount of $$ you might wanna have another account specialising on a pure role.

BTW I hope, Devs will add new skills any now and then to ensure, I never have all extensions maxed, as I like the idea, that you take some decisssions, even if you learn they were wrong afterwards smile

It was unfortunatley way more than just normal lag issue.
It took sometimes more than a 2 minutes for update of client. E.g. enough to drop beacon direct in front of us (~300m) and using it. 
Chasing a plateted Messmer took almost all the way from Kara to Uria as on my client (all other chasing agents as well) the Messmer didn't move most of the time, but warped in 600-800m steps. So you had to guess if your too near or too far away.

I had after the battle fitted a self rep dock out, start repair module and docked in after 2 minutes with only ~200 HP restored. Undocked again, and found out that  rep module won't do anything at all. After third try nothing improves I decided to log off. Even after reloggin after hours, there was dmg left.

The point is you couldn't notice the lag unless wanna follow someone or check move of NPCs or active wanna do something. Just moving around was fine from an individual point of view.

Its just ridiculous if you see all other dots on radar warping instead of moving

Lets imagine, bridge would be no terraforming thing, build structure which I assume to be easier to bring into game.  With this module you could easily bridge on Gamma over a lot defense structures in a rather fast way.

If Bridge would be terraforming structure, it would be common to build towers on top and Ewar/repair/energie below, so enemy would be _forced_ to dig into base instead of shooting into base.

I see both ways changing the base defense mechanic completely. It would render most bases worthless and force you to either terraform in your existing base which is hard and time consuming or building a new base.

You see in forum that trolling is happening, but in general "the players" behave in a rather grown up manner and somebody writing something wrong will be corrected.

An alternative for me would be still decaying concrete but possibility to build it on Gamma yourself or a possibility to repair it.

I voted for #2 because I like it better, but still would prefer changes even to that.

I would like to see something separated from squad for assignments using another name like projectteam.
In my opinion every team member should require to accept the assignment in order to participate on the reward and should be within range in order to get update. This range could be either the usual red circle or nexus range or within detection range. Guess best solution would be introduction of an assignment range.
This will be necessary to avoid one guy just standing below terminal and getting all rewards.

The most important change to the actual mechanic should be that the "green circle" on NPC is valid for all team member regardless who is fastest in lock an shoot. And dmg dealed (like in a lot other games) still should not be the "killcounter", as Ewar need to get team reward, as their job is at least as important as the job of the dmg dealer.

I agree, that beside any problems, it would not be that nice, beeing set back to homebase (not nearest Terminal your allowed to dock) just when beeing outside during server crash.

There might be someone with sequer on gamma doing artefact scan and found beeing warped back to alpha.

The birthdayspark will be reward of a special assignment, you will most likely be able to finish only once per agent. It is not released up to now, if this assignment requires artefact scanning.

The scanning will be needed to find special items (beacons) that can only be undigged from earth during birthday week (according to blog)

Actually there is no problem in faming low level frags on alpha or alpha+. It is just if everybody does only T4/T5 Spawns the available amount is sinking. This will change as soon, as somebody is paying enough NIC/Fragment.

Even on Beta I knew spots to farm low lvl frags, question is, if somebody is actually farmin frags on theses islands as risk vs reward is not ideal.

Problem is probably beta+ and for sure gamma islands, you have only bad chance to get there reasonable amount of Frags without hauling from alpha, as there is no low level spawn on gamma and beacon are not available for T2 NPCs.

First of all two Kains with together 4  Neuts are a bad joke, no pvpler I know would take that fit out in the fields unless they just fit because they new they need to conter shild, and even then it is bad joke, because there are quite better possibilities if you know you gonna conter shield fit.

While I never checked, I doubt, that you break a Tyrannos Energy with draining Kains, I assume you need Neuts, which requires the Kain to take a lot care of energy.
Dunno if 2 Kains have enough Akku for one skilled Tyrannos to just neut him before running out of Akku when they don't have rep or hardener running and the Tyrannos is afk. But from tankfits I have seen, I'm pretty sure you need to gimp your Kain even further to get this job with rep running by filling your legs with Akkurecharge/Extender. I mean I'm not talking about how to kill a Tyrannos who's driver is afk with a setup that requires you even to run from hostile Arkes as you would not survive them, when looking for a Kain fit to counter Tyrannos.

ECM to death is something that can happen, but can fail as using ECM is still gambling. In general a Kain can't ECM forever due to his Akku, while Tyrannos has a lot time.

There are for sure some  possibilities I haven't considered, but all in all, in the rock paper scissor where blue is the enemy of green and fears red, there is now way for blue to beat green when both driving mech and green is shielded. And I really doubt, that 2 Kains have a reasonable chance unless use that specialised fits, that will fail against most other enemies they could encounter (including some light EW bots), and even then I don't think that Tyrannos will die and Kain survive if all involved agents knew how to play.

Yeah, Kain is always the faster and can counter all shield fits by running. I accept, that retreat is sometimes the win of a battle, but I'm not playing games, when the only thing I can do is to run away whenever enemy comes in sight and you call that "balancing". Especially as long as Kain is the fastest mech but all light and assault can outrun Kain.

I'm fine with the actual bonus, just give shild a lock that prevents usage of offensive things like ECM, Demob, Drain, Weapon,... while shild is up, until 1 min after shild stop.

Than ask again if Tyrannos is still that powerful as it is since the last 12 months. It would be still powertank, but could not be offensive power while tanking.

The answer is not that clear as it seems.

If you plan to be long time miner with beeing the most effective in 3 or 4 weeks, than you should go direct to control Termis (advance robotics 1, indu bot control 5), spend as less extensions as possible now in mining cycle reduction (Extensive Mining 3) spend as less EP as possible in CPU and reactor extension to equip your termis   (e.g. mixture of Data Processing and Optimized Industrial Engineering for CPU) and put all other EP in "Accu Expansion" and "Energy Management" until your Termis is capstable running, than increase mining effciency with EP split between general and ore dependent to get the best mix (highest result if you focus on one ore first).

If you talk about most effective today, you should be better off with Argano mk2 with T4 small modules, and spend EP in Cycle Time reduction, but this will most likely hurt in 2-3 weeks.

BTW I consider it a valid idea to not getting capstable with 4 med miners in Termis, if you are close for entering Riveler, as I think in Riveler it is more easy to be capstable.

And for general cap stability there is a difference between mining ore and liquizits. You can be capstable on Titan, but experience getting instable on liquizit, just due to the fact, that on long term you recover during tile change the necessary small amount to stay stable.

Why? your T4 Lazors for that bot together cost also more than the bot itself, this is not wrong. You just need to think if your bot is T1 fit with std ammo, or T4 fit with assignment ammo.

Doing those assignmnets yourself would spare you the cost plus give you some extra money

I had a fieldcontainer never getting it to the ground. Sound was there, but I couldn't check for visuals as most screen was full with windows.

In fact this is a very rare event, think I only had this in artefact scanning once some weeks ago, andonly once lost my field container (2 days ago). Mostly I detect container is missing after poping an NPC, but even that is only easy detectable when you do "small" group NPC fighting. When doing beacon, roams or "advanced" NPC spots, I have no time counting kills and compare that number with looted container afterwards.

As it is per Terminal, I have enough production lines, but see, that large corps with few producer have a problem, so why not introducing a further skill line for this. Like for sell orders, I'm not too happy with plain number increase without introduction of new EP sink.

Before increasing that number, I would strongly suggest to ease the production resource management.

At the moment if you start even 20 lines, you need to have a storage crowded with commodities or will likely face that one commoditie is wrong calculated and therefore a lot production lines stop before end.
This is due to the fact, that the commodities for different lines can't be separated in different folders and when you start production resources are only allocated for first cycle, not for all cycles at once. Improvement in this system would be required for me to even have 38 lines running in parallel.

Why should you be able to buy from outside the terminal? What are your beneftits and did you consider the flaws of this?

Not everything than can be implemented in game should be implemented.

There should be difference between MK2 and Proto. I'm mnot saying that proto should be the other MK2, but as it is mroe expensive to produce Proto than MK2 I see no reason why MK2 is that much better

I consider this chat a nice feature. When doing mining or npc farming, you can talk to each other without disturbing squad or  corp channel. It would be good to give agents the possibility to "unsubscribe" as it is a unnecessary tab sometimes.
