However, there is no great news, no patch and NO SERAPH!!!!!111oneoneeleven. All you did to try and keep people subbed - is 1 AID to every active acount....facepalm.

Let's be honest, your tradition to keep in secret things you are working on is playing a bad game with you. Players are want to know what they can expect in near future, and how the things are going on. If they will get no information at all, well, don't be surprised when at the moment you finish to develop your brand new shiny stuff, there will be no single active subscription left.

Good to see you guys still at it. Good thing, you guys set back the tournament this time round, better spend those limited resources on expanding the game.  Would love to see the new PVE, modules, bots and on steam by the end of the year and bring Perp back to life. big_smile

there won’t be an official tournament this time. Last year it was really great and it provided us with a lot of experience, and we’d really love to do it again in the future. But the truth is that it takes away so much development resources and manpower that at this time we’d rather spend that on actual development.

development resources, really? to be frank, this is very disappointing. i believe the tournament is important to a lot of players, and if there's any way to make it happen ... do it. a 2 day tournament cant really take that much away from the development time, can it?

I missed the events last year. Do you need scanning skills on all your characters or can one specialised alt artifact scan the special spark for the other chars?

Scanning skills help, but the way it works is one Character can only get one spark ... so if you have 3 characters they can team up to get one faster for the others ...  hope thats clear enough, thats how it worked last year.

The birthdayspark will be reward of a special assignment, you will most likely be able to finish only once per agent. It is not released up to now, if this assignment requires artefact scanning.

The scanning will be needed to find special items (beacons) that can only be undigged from earth during birthday week (according to blog)

So these distress beacons do they only come from artifacting ? or will they drop from the rare npc (darkstar/mighty etc..)?

I was looking forward to building walls on all the ramps in the arena during the tournament lol

to build walls you need to be outpost owner in range of the arena wink

actually, tournament arena could be much more intresting this year, with DESTRUCTIBLE obstacles aka Walls. That feature didnt make it into the tourney last year. with the wall compiler modules it would even for the DEVs now possible to implement it. (my suggestion last year to use plants was not possible due to missing DEV-tools to make them insta-grow... and the idea for using plant mechanics for walls was probably born this way)

lets see if i can unlock the spark this year on all agents...

it appears to be on the reconnect screen when you crash...I guess thats the best place to communicate to you commity with these server issues.

Patch time is at 12:00 CET and will last 3 hours.

Patches and scheduled downtimes have been always announced on the login screen (plus the ingame countdown of course), and yes it's 12:00 CET + ~3 hours.

But what of these AIDs and Guardian Commander beacons I've still got in my private storage? Will they still work after tomorrow?

What of the remaining ICE by universal tokens? Are they staying until they've all been claimed?
