IMO, while I do think there are some things that are definitely not balanced properly, ewar included. I think the degrees of imbalance we are talking about are very small... Nothing that would damage someones ability to enjoy the game. And as such, not a terribly high priority.

According to mine, mechs are overpowered compared to heavies. There are a million factors in fleet pvp to take into account. You guys are discussing the issue on a macro scale and it needs to be done on a micro scale. You can find a killmail to support any argument.

I am assuming that something will be done to prevent terminal spamming and/or terminal deconstruction. That is really a must...

Want enemies that will go to any lengths to prevent you from curbstomping them like we have done for the past 2 years? STC is recruiting. Come find out what all the fuss is about!

You would have to find some way of having minerals not spawn in unpassable territory to do any of that. There is something fun about having to terraform your mineral field down so you can access it. I would hate to remove that feature. But again I want a mining tower to be needed at any mineral field you mine, not just colixium.

All that being said, I vote for the exact opposite of everything Rage Rex says.... smile

Some of that is pretty good. I worry slightly about epi back on gamma, but I can be convinced if its not Turtle paradise. And a big hell no to the passive mining towers. Screw free minerals. Instead, I say you should have to construct a mining tower to mine ANY ore on gamma. And remove reinforcement from mining towers. This way mining towers and miners are still exposed to enemy action and there is no passive mining income.

You are *** about the ease of mining on alpha already, and you want to make the ore mine itself on gamma? Come on, Man

Ya gotta love Arga... Making well thought out and eloquent written posts on topics he has zero hands on experience with in the past 3 years. Has never seen an ewar tuning or a battle in perpetuum ever? Or at least in 3 years? But never the less, does a great job of derailing the actual topic at hand into a debate over minutia that has really nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Absolutely! I had an older apparently not great power supply that I used when I built my new computer. I had the same kind of issues with perpetuum with my 660 TI. Kernel issuses, drivers failing. I eventually traced the issue to the powersupply. While my power supply had the wattage to run my card, It didn't have enough amps on the 12v rail, a lot of these newer cards are power hogs on the 12v rail. Problems went away with the new PSU.

Getting some noticeable chat lag again, maybe 15 to 20 seconds. I was in Herschfield station at the time, and others were reporting lag doing stuff in station as well. I undocked Herschfield terminal and the chat lag went away. Just some info, maybe all of this crap is station related.

A one stop shop for all your Perpetuum needs.

There actually is a delay already, just not sure how long. I think its pretty short. But if someone is a miner and plays this game to mine, they should always have the ability to log on and do so. Period.

Edit: And there already is a difference in the size and color of mineral fields from alpha to beta to gamma. It would just be tweaking it some more.
