Confirming what *** said. My base's walls are built using this meaning you can't terraform in.
I've talked in general chat about this a while. Using this 'feature' its possible to build an island that's impossible to assault. Not just difficult - impossible.
Broken mechanics.

Detector cycle lag is over 9000 if you have the squad will window open and usually minimal without.

I'm of the opinion it should start kinda theme park and then get steadily more sandbox. If you wanted to get put of the park in the sand you should have the option but let's ease folks in at the beginning.

1. We'll try to think of something, but we're open to suggestions as well.
2. These new bugs have now set us back by at least a week, but they happened due to some internal rewrites which help us stay more future-proof in return. Research is coming along nicely, Steam too, but we can't talk about the latter until we have everything set up, sorry. Missions and the rest comes after we deployed research.
3. We have other plans, we'll announce it when we get there.
Any thoughts on an affiliate scheme?

Remove epi from gamma
Reduce maximum sparks to five with a 1 hour cool down
Remove instant respawn for ore fields
Might help some

1) nebs and stc lost all the fights but won the war. They basically alarm clocked until cir, 12, 62nd and assorted people from other corps got bored and went to play other games and then took undefended betas. Building on this they have already destroyed 12's undefended gamma base and stated their aim to do the same to the rest
2) independent gamma was established but appears that woefully underused.
3) nobody got bans, ville got a forum ban and chat ban but that's it. They left due to boredom after winning the fights and then not getting any Pvp as stc and nebs stopped turning up.
4) population is real low due mainly to the crappy intrusion system driving away players, natural attrition to real life not being offset by enough new blood, gamma base deaths killing corps like Rawr and the devs seeming indifference as to what creates a population. Pvp therefore is low.

Regardless just use one account to buy two subs and problem solved. What's irritating is that due to conversion rates US players pay less than the UK.

Absolutely, this would make common sense. I'm assuming, however, that this is already the plan as T2 proto's are less weight and are easier to fit.
But if the proto mech weighed less it would actually be slower due to the added weight ratio

What I will never understand is why they feel the need to *** industrialists over with every patch. I mean who thought it was a good idea to make everyone's research worth less? I understand making a system for new players and not existing but why *** the existing guys over in the process?

Even without extensions a change reducing the level of already gained research sucks tbh. Balance fragments and I could live with it :-)
