where do you get off stating Alsbale players don't want to fight?? seriously go look at the KB they have taken losses and given losses to attackers. Like anyone they wont fight stupid numbers if the resource aren't online.

Also where have you been Arga, I dont see you on any....to busy behind a termis and posting you pvp thought I guess.

@Graz

I was packaging up a lot of implications in that statement, which made it overly broad. I was mainly referring to the situations that you call out in your post above, where a fighting force shows up at 3 to 1 odds. But mostly its stating the obvious, which is, your not putting mining bots out as 'bait' to lure roamers in for a fight.

I was out on Alsbale with Lemon last week (or maybe a little longer) and we exchanged about even kills, so I certainly didn't mean to imply that there's no FIGHTS out there, simply that the walls (just like Speed) allows Beta dwellers the same option to choose when and if they want to fight, and specifically if you had wanted to fight them you would have, but since you didn't, that you didn't want to fight. Trying to FORCE you to fight uneven odds or when your not prepared, is what roam-online is all about, and it's not about Good Fights, its about "them" wanting free easy kills and the devs chaging the rules to allow them to get them.

Sorry for the misunderstanding

Well then I agree, the walls and probes gave the defenders first time in history for this game an advantage. Because the attacker for the most part has the advantage because what they do in hour forming up collaborating fits and attack plan the defenders has to do within 3 minutes when enemy arrives, which in most case doesn't happen, unless it's a small force, but large high tech forces more then likely wont get any action because it takes to long to plan and fit and assemble to counter.

I dont quite think that's entirely what arga was trying to say you were actively doing and yes he has actually been pvping just on his combat toon.

if that is not what he is saying then why did he say it in CAPS?

Thanks Lemon, taking both sides of the coin on this wall issue and address the real issue in PVP.

I also think these people don't understand the Dev's intentions to get more or new people to give beta try with walls and probes, samething goes for these gamma island and for the better word POS's (eve term)

I agree with alot of what you said.

Think about it: they are in combat with RG wich is on the very same island as them. No other Corp on the Server is that. Not even the vocal "Anti blob"-corps here.

Damnit Anni, you beat me too it!

Oh a plus note, since I know how high your Alliance Leader...hahaha... gets while trying to mine epriton.  Not really worried about diplomatic relations with the United Miners and Wall Builders Coalition.

Seriously,

fighting RG is your excuse....hahaha

2 nights a week you get a fight, and if you don't want to fight just stay clear of teleports. RG spend more time logged out then in game then anyone.

I just thought is was funny that ville complained about someone else walls....when the *** completely wall off karapyth and had to teleport into once on island.

Talk about calling the kettle black.

I also find it funny that I am insulting him and all he can do is insult everyone except me.... good one Ville that hurt.

Don'y get me wrong I like to see RG loss that station, only corp I know that plays 4 hours a week and keep there station.

STC being RG's new canon fodder is more of a threat then RG themselves.

what you idiots refer to as pvp is simply just janking. Walls have done nothing but protect industry, which you elites rode the back of to climb the kill board.

Instead you guys want to run through an island with 10+ MK2 Mechs, and smash the 3-4 people doing something on Beta outside of looting SAP and running back to alpha.

These are the same people that cry theres no pvp from within ICS Alpha terminal.

you want pvp then live on beta and stay their, and stop your damn crying.

sound good and simple to me.

Would be great to get an update as to what you guys are doing about this issue. I have to be honest, my sub runs out in 10 days and if nothing changes then you may lose 2 active accounts out of the 200 you have now.

Would an IP change help against the DDOS attack if it random DDOS BOT ?

err probablyl not because they are probably using DNS grr.

Nice post, I am also buying a 365 day time code once paypal confirms transfer

I like the pvp aspect of the game. I think they are missing some needed features.

1. Alliance.
2. Restrict player captured outposts.
3. Bounties.
4. BIGGER World.
5. Asset window.

This is a pointless discussion. If you want pvp goto the beta island, but you want to mine and PVE in safety stay on Alpha.

They just need to make the world bigger it is really small at the moment

I also noticed I am getting a replacement Arkhe immediately as well not waiting the 10 minutes.

I have my homebase set to Abbuthilla, and when I killed myself near ICS alpha terminal I spawned at ICS Alpha terminal. So I had to walk back to Abbuthilla outpost. When I got there I check my profile and my homebase was indeed set to Abbuthilla outpost. So I decided to perform a test and kill myself again at abbuthilla, and I did spawn this time at abuthilla. so I then went to Truhold mark Alpha terminal and docked and undocked, and killed my self there which I have never bound myself to ever. Sure enough I spawned at Tuhold-mark, so the conclussion is I am spawning at the closest terminal.

I am not curtain if i am just bugged and if I set my home base again will correct it, or this will happen again if I log off. but this are the step I tested and seems true.

1. set homebase.
2. goto another base like an alpha terminal.
3. dock into terminal and then undock.
4. suicide on NPC's Near terminal.

When I did this I spawn at the terminal I was closest to, or last docked to.

I am sure you guys can probably have better ways to test this issue.
