take yesterday as an example

m2s slowly build numbers at hillmanoc to out gun us so we decide to go sit on the nauwy tele instead.
this is common for us we have 2 or 3 guys show up so we get a couple of guys to geather to check em out , they sit on the tele for hours and hours while they try to muster more people then we get bored of waiting for them to make a move and everyone leaves , they then roam our island and think they have awesome skillz.

maybe the solution is say a 10min syndicate timer on the beta side  so you can get a feel for the island before committing but if you jump back through to the alpha side you cant jump back for say 20mins (im thinking like how wormholes work in eve here)

the only problem i can see from any solution tho is and marked increase in log off traps
so in reality i think the current system is fine as you can keep the belligerents humping the teleporter while the rest of the carebears can get stuff done unmolested

thats assuming there isn't some work around. Maybe the deletion cost is going out the window in favour of somet less *** way of limiting tutorial spam (like making it one tutorial per account perhaps)? I know it hasn't been a popular change.

so im guessing that if we have 3 chars and pre release acct we will still have time to wipe the account ?

im looking at it now and it seems its gonna be damn close to 45days maybee even 46 if you have no ep banked right now as the last acct needs 7 days to delete

Why experience in piloting light/assault bots is useless when you use mech? So you can use that light turret in bot but in mech you doing less damage ? wtf. and if you use medium you cant hit *** on alpha...

It faster, cheper, safer to kill lvl1 mission mobs that any other mobs using even "better" mechs... and if you want be effective you cant do other things ? Sorry devs but i dont pay for a such fun.


mechs arent better they fill a different role, this isnt bigger =better infact ift should be even more so a bot should have problems hitting mechs and mechs should have problems hitting bots

ok heres my idea:

i we are gonna keep flogging the risk vs reward and real life ideas
it takes time to load something and just as long if not longer to unload it

so i say add a timer to deleting and have the same timer to opening a can

that way if you blow someone up fine  good on you better get the trolley out and start picking through the salvage

now days when somone robs a armoured van full of money they get covered in ink when they open / pick up the bag and all the notes are un usable and they can still be arrested and tried for armed robery and locked up for 10 years

a brand new character with 20k ep can be quite effective i dont realy know what the problem is

perhaps they shouldnt be a primrary weapon to begin with more like a secondary thing

if bots blocked LOS that would make it far more interesting  bring as many people as you want but only the front line can shoot big_smile

eve hs thousands and thousands of tiny islands yet has insane amounts of blob action

even wormholes suffer from blobs and they just need to be more planned due to mass limits

fact is any game were there is no friendly fire/ bots dont block LOS and a bigger group almost secures victory will have issues with blob warfare

you can already have multiple characters all specialized in various feilds on one account already not to mention  how many alt accounts this game has
and you can change any skill on every character the only difference is the time it takes
I really really don't see how allowing people to change their attributes  every now and then?

IMHO i say get rid of them all together they add nothing to the system
or better yet make the attributes effect bots in some way

why would you be against that whats wrong with being able to change the focus of your character ?

and yeah i had that problem during beta too i was all guns and nothing else really sucks

i personally dont like any system that forces you to keep the same path you chose before you even knew how to play it sucks
