This is is ******* badly optimized. I've been saying this since beta, but the devs keep denying this fact. Sad, just sad.

If this game runs at 30-40FPS on a heavily overclocked i7 and GTX480, then something is DEFINITELY wrong.

They failed with formulas then.

Here's my suggestion how to handle it:

Max possible reduction of running speed due to full cargo is 20%.
At 50% filled cargohold, the running speed is lowered by 10%.
At 30% cargohold, running speed is reduced by 6%.
... and so on.

You don't have to reduce it by 99%. An empty truck irl won't drive 90% slower if it's full.

I'm not a programmer, but I can't imagine that it's so hard to implement or that it will eat all server resources.
