I believe its a permenant position rather than agency work though, there are no other employers of CIR fanbois, but have a bump anyway for psuedo mercs

Frankly you will always need different goals for different people;

I bet when we start transferring energy back to earth that the indy corps will be competing to transfer the most. What about 'employee/corp of the month' awards with motd stuff going out saying this corp or that individual has donated the most energy
Fame motivates others
Anni's ideas about crafting unique items, thats why some people do things. If i could some how create a T2+ equivalent energy injector called Jelans Energy Pumper (names would need moderating of course) that i researched and created at great expense but to know that i was the first to discover it and if anyone else uncovers that research its automatically called 'Jelans energy pumper' and will be forever more in the game, how much do you think that would drive some people.
Pioneering is something that people like
Artifact scanning shows some of this, but how about you dont release all of the gamma islands at the same time, but in fact the tp's need to be found or constructed/repaired and powered before the players can discover these new islands
Just some ideas of the top of my head

I predicted all these nerfs as soon as the walls came out, the simple fact is that the devs didnt implement these very well and rushed out something because of people whining.
The walls are useless now and were OP before. When you have something that broken you admit your mistakes, remove it and re-introduce when its better thought out, if you two cant figure that out then more pity you if you cant understand what i'm saying
I liked the idea of walls but they should have been attached to the PBS patch as a whole package

All it needs is for researchers to be able to share their knowledge into a corp database. They still retain all of their IPR with regards to the research but as long as they are a member of the corp it also resides in the corp database and anyone in the corp with the appropriate roles can access this database.
Still means that an individual has his research and if he leaves the corp he takes it with him but if he goes inactive and is still in the corp the research is still available. It means prototypers are still valuable individuals and can sell their services to corps and means that you still ideally want more than one prototyper in your corp.
But they still maintain ownership of their research and simply share it
Very much like a producer taking his blueprints when he leaves a corp in EvE.
