Personally I'd like to see static spawns on all Alpha islands with dynamic on Beta and Gamma.

This would make life easier for new players and producers on Alpha, and make Gamma and Beta 'safer' in that no-one can camp a specific 'fixed' spawn site.

This also aids 'casual' players  - they don't need to traipse for 15-20 minutes of their short play time simply to find the next ore spawn.

By the time new players want to mine on Beta/Gamma they should have gained enough in-game experience/help to learn how to use directional scanner charges.

Personally along these lines I like to see the removal of knowledge base for t1 items - since prototyping only produces t1 items and as stated in the OP the market is now seeded with t1.

Farming hundreds of kernels just to be able to produce something I can simply buy on the market and RE is ridiculous.

Such a change would get new players into higher level item production much sooner and help expand the number of items of different tiers available on the market.

1. YES - no doubt - this model works well in eve.

2. No Way - the noob - vet divide is more apparent with the low population - when noobs have more peers to engage with the vet divide will not be noticeable. The sandbox template calls for something to strive for, and gaining ep over time and using it wisely is all part and parcel of the game.

The information for Stermonid PL-10 and PL-40 show the wrong values for components - they are the wrong way around - 10000 for pl-10 and 5000 for pl-40 .......

Had the same issue with missiles on the Tyrannos

But he is right the devs have been way to optimistic with the market. Now it is true im Anti seeded items but im against it when seeded items are set at static values.

I do think tho that Basic T1 items that form the core of game play should always be seeded on the market. Till a games population gets to the point where it has the industrial capacity to manage that. And even then removing seeded Items Must be done slowly & over a length of time

It is also very important that the cost of seeded items is greater than the build cost for producers.

Producers should have a range where they can make a profit and not be undercut by seeded items - otherwise there is no incentive to produce anything.

I agree too.....

and should point out that the of the 2 islands a new player needs for resources, they have to jump to an alpha-2 island first - where roaming npc's and spawns are way beyond the abilities of a new player to handle.

Is it just me or is there a problem with the server atm...

The client starts and gets an immediate connection lost message,

under which it states the server status is: Server is Online

fillowed by links to the patch notes .....

Tried it on 2 different machines and get the same ....

been mining an HDT instance found with the directional scanner - the drop rate for Allacrit is 4 in the last hour - will take 1-2 days to complete the Helicon XI mission(mine 25 allacrit) at this rate...

now 3-4 hours in and only 11 allacrit dropped - this is going to be a loooooong level III mission ....

Ok - so I was hasty in the first post posting from work....

What i'm asking for is something unique to PvE players and inaccessable to PvP players.

Risk == Rewards is not all encompassing and equally not only risk can give rewards - e.g. problem solving. Risk need not mean PvP alone but PvE as in versus NPC's.

If there were some activity limited to non-PvP players that gave rewards unavaiable to PvP players but needed by them, this would further stimulate the market so both groups can exchange items inaccessable to the other.

I would for once like to see such a situation where my un-willingness to participate in PvP actually gave me some reward too - as in society - Murderers, Thiefs, Looters are treated as criminals whereas in MMO they are the gods and get the good stuff!

Can we have a PvE Gamma Island with no PvP - not everyone finds enjoyment in killing other players and destroying their stufzz just for 'fun' !

Give a chance to get at the Gamma resources and merging CT's etc. for the more civilized players !
