Change: Reconfigured the armor hit point reduction, demobilizer resistance and mass reduction parameters of all lightweight frame modules.

is very nonspecific.

Wait at least until server starts before you make a qq thread.

It has been known for a while that LWF are getting toned down a lot, it doesn't take much to see that this is the change they've been talking about.

And you assume too much, QQ thread? I'm not QQing, I actually would prefer it if observers hunted players, and not the other way around.

As opposed to players hunting observers.

*Lightweight frame nerfed*

* '''Change:''' Increased the speed and range of Observer NPCs.

Will observers now be faster than the average mech/hmech? Also I take it the superior laser h.mech observer will now destroy everything since he already had 700m range before this range boost patch.

News - New content coming soon (TM)

T4 weapon stab proto = 15, 23, and 31 damaged/common/perfect fragments.

T4 evasive module proto = 170, 348, 518 damaged/common/perfect. 518 perfect fragments.

I wonder who the lucky person was.

So I was kinda tired, a bit distracted. I made a buy order earlier for epi. I  wanted 8 million units at 15 nic each, so I made my buy order.

Several hours later I checked my order, it was gone. But only 15 units of epi in my hangar. I quickly figured out that I had mixed up the price and quantity, resulting in a royal *** up.

This highights an issue imo - The market should warn you if you're about to buy or sell something that is massively outside its average price range. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes, especially if they're tired.

Buy order set for 14.10 nic per unit of epi.

Convo me if you want to do direct trade to avoid market tax.

I don't see where this lack of T4 is, most T4 items are on the market. Within the next half a week or so i'll have all T4 ERPs, weapon stabs and evasive modules on market.

I used around 40 observer blue mech and observer heavy mech kernals just to finish off seismic ERP to T4. I had everything else, so i got 40x nothing basically, except for seismic ERP. Huge price to pay, but i wanted to complete the T4 ERP set for all types.

Never heard of getting only 7% from an observer kernal unless it was the last 7% needed to complete a tier (it doesn't go over multiple tiers)

I see a few problems with punishing people for this in most circumstances.

You're hunting observers, you find a spawn and kill them, they both respawn, you can't get the loot, you kill them again, they might respawn again, in which case if you want the loot you need to kill them again, by now from what i've seen they usually won't respawn again. Nobody should be punished for doing this.

If the same observer is respawning dozens of times and you kill it over and over for hours on end, well this is quite the exploit, especially if you end up with like 30+ kernals from killing the same bugged npc over and over. The thing is even if you don't kill it and just leave it, chances are someone else will come along and kill it anyway and have the same thing happen with them. I'll note that i've not seen one of these infinitely respawning observers, i've only heard people talk about them.

If you want to be inline with everything, what about the LWF change? The numbers will be similar to the uni plates from what was said on the forums. (afair DEV said it, could be changed still I know) :]

Well the uni plates give you 120 resistance. The std faction hardners do the same.

with t4 it's a sum of 140 resistance points, also in line with the t4 faction hardners.

Uni plates are much heavier and higher fitting requirements than single hardeners.

Observers almost killed npcing. Then they added the 50% kernal drop rate nerf, and finally finished off npcing. RIP high end npcing.

This has to be one of the most underwhelming modules when it comes to obtaining the higher tiered versions. T4 is just a 16.5% increase over T1.

Normal armor hardeners offer a 25% increase when you use T4 over T1. Many other T4 modules offer increases from 25% to even 75% increase (accumulator rechargers)

You forgot the fact that it's a "16.5% increase" for all four damage types, in contrary to normal hardeners.

Oh so we counting each resist as a seperate bonus now then? Then we should do the same for all other T4 modules, wow, some of those bonuses just became crazy high.

Universal armor harder

T1 30 each resist
T2 30
T3 33
T4 35

This has to be one of the most underwhelming modules when it comes to obtaining the higher tiered versions. T4 is just a 16.5% increase over T1.

Would it be too much to ask for the T4 uni hardeners to give 40 to each resist? T3 should be changed to 35.

What was the point of the 50% reduction in kernal drop rate nerfs anyway? Even with observers on a normal spawn rate, they make getting research really easy, so much that nobody bothers to farm high tier npcs.

Is farming observers which are clearly bugged an exploit?
Will people be punished or are we free to farm them?

IMO, if you kill an observer, and it respawns, kill it, no harm done. But if it keeps respawning over and over dozens of times seemingly never ending, that is way out of hand.

I don't know what observers you're talking about, the ones i've seen are like this. They either die and don't respawn, or they die and respawn once, or sometimes, they will die and respawn an extra time. I had a superior observer spawn 50m from me, on my head.

I'm talking about bugged observers that you continually kill for 20+ times with instant-respawns after death. hmm Broken mechanic is broken, but to be honest this feels intended to satisfy the ADD crowd that can't be arsed to grind kernels. Bugs of this magnitude are usually fixed instantly, we're on day 6 after it's been reported.

At least some of us will have plenty of observer-kernels to insta-aquire whatever new modules are added in the game. lol

I've not seen one that respawns more than 2 times. I did hear of people in general chat talking about one that spawned over and over in the same spot, or so it was claimed. Upon investigating however it was killed and did not respawn any further times.

Yay for superior kain obsevers spawning directly on your head. And surviving!

T4 assault nexus = 7.5% base cycle time.

level 8 assault skill = 8% cycle time

= 15.5%

Yet somehow ingame it only gives 14.35%?

Buy order set in tma, also buying golden mech kernals 300k each.

Anything he may have done with regards to fleets of T4 grophos doesn't exactly count as valid considering past events, in which losing means very little.

It should hold true though, because that past is what Siddy is no doubt refering to.

This is a very good price but further shows that either NIC values in the game are very very badly wrong or there is an exploit somewhere, even a simple one.

I'd prefer to think the former rather than the latter at this point.

Maybe not, i'm a major T4 producer since only a few weeks after perpetuum release and amassed around a billion liquid nic in the last half a year from production, and i've simply decided to invest it.
