It explains why beacons were removed from gama, it doesnt explain why beacons were removed from alpha. I too feel beacon pits are bad for the game, but normal beacons on alpha?

For the freaking last time,  fighting on a slope is not exploiting the  game.

Now berwalem happened to be mountaneous, so what? Npcs are in mountains aswell and noone shouted exploit. Why? Cause there's nothing to exploit.

Zoom can't even bring up an explanation to the whole LoS fiasco he created. For the 3rd time, I can set up a 3 stripe beacon in flat terrain on shin and melt it without any exploits whatsoever. Problem?

It's sad really how fighting mobs on sloped terrain is an exploit, but for example cleaning one island on rhaoshan of red mobs forever is perfectly acceptable behaviour.

I just honestly can't say im happy with being forced to move seths all around the map to do beacons. All game balances aside, moving for 10 minutes to get a couple minutes of action is not enjoyable.

Or you know, you could deactivate beacons on gamma. And the issue is fixed.


And if anyone thinks i need slope advantage for beacons, then please, reactivate beacons, observe me for 10 min and then reevaluate your opinion.

Negative, you didn't watch closely enough. Whenever my support bot was targeted, NPCs teleported withing 0 meters of it. How is that out of LoS?

And again, I've farmed perfectly well in Shin on the platform. Direct LoS. Performance wasn't worse than before.

EDIT: I thought you added teleporting mobs to avoid the los issue?

Well, there's nothing high risk with beacons as they are right not. 3 vets can easily dismember any beacon in the game.

But beyond that, i highly doubt tweaking the game here and there is more important than beta missions revamp. But then again, I'm not the DEV of the game.

I wish i could get back the wasted EP i spent on the support bots im never ever going to use again....

That was done only to keep the mobs from moving around. They could teleport and they always attacked me at close (100m) distance. And lately, i've done it on horizontal terrain in shin. You know, because you watched me. And what was being exploited by that anyways?

And you very well know i dont need a slope to melt 3 stripers.

Hey devs, if you're so scared of beacon pits, why not freaking disable beacons on just gamma?

No, you just had to disable them completely for everyone, including alpha. Because that's apparently your highest priority, not beta missions?

Now i understand why vets left the game.

I think the 3 robots we have are already different in the types: mesmers having damage and speed but little hp, seths have tank and grophos have range.

I'm not saying it wouldnt be cool to have variations, but we have more important stuff that needs dev coding imo.

You could create separate folders for each character's log, that's the only thing i'd find conflicting.
I know EVE Online can do this, so what's the problem with perp being unable to do it? No launcher?

Yes, it creates an imbalance between damage and the other systems of pvp and pve - healing and EW. Also,  there is a luck factor involved. I dont like luck, I like skill. But most importantly, damage gets a boost while the others dont. Also a reason for so many damage bots in pvp.

The only thing you have to click every five seconds for is titan unless your putting all mining arms on the same tile (don't). Even then its only on crappy alpha spawns.

If you want to complain about horrible resource gathering then why not harvesting? Are you gonna tell me that harvesting is preferable to mining?

Harvesting can even be worse. I'm saying that when you put all 5 lasers from the riv to each own tile, you never know when the tile empties. You click a lot. Multiply that by 2 to 3 accounts and you're going crazy.

I dont even attempt to do that with my 11 minions. I cant even imagine the pain id have to go through.

I have to disagree, at least on repairs. Sometimes i repaired my seths for 20%, the other times by as much as 35-40%. I could be a display bug for enwar, but it definitely isnt for repairs.

The way I interrupted Zooms post was "it doesn't say critical hit, but sometimes it behaves in a manner that is a critical hit".  Or did I read that wrong?

That is correct. Sometimes, i had a couple triple crits and my seth was repaired by 2 volleys.

Armor repping doesnt crit or increase anymore, my bad. Still, that was a d i ck move, AC. Why do you allow only damage to crit? I fail to see that logic
