Sounds like a fun place to visit.

That's not a bad idea since it's what people are doing already with a second account.

Remote sensor boosting is kind of a must in many situations, may as well make it available to people who don't want to multibox.

Another role that is often mandatory is the role of a detector but if it were up to me i would change the way that works all together.

Adding a flying drone like this would be kind of like adding extra slots that can't be used to boost damage directly.

Would you be able to shoot down the drone or jam it?  I take it it would only boost the owner's mech?

Remote energy and repair is also always helpful.  What if those were applied and then worked over a period of time (HOTs) and you could only have one applied per bot.  That would maybe discourage the use of a caravan of supporting alts.

this would change the solid foundation of this already working feature.

any change in masking/detection mechanics would probably lower the amount of numbers you have to memorize (your detection range, oppenents possible detection range, probe detection range, ... ), that would dumb down the gameplay and reduce the l33t-ness of those who have done that already.

a ping for detection would mean that you can actually actively run your tackler and have the detector alt on second client followbot, making multiboxing even easier then it is in that aspect. Since a big part of the subscriptions are multiboxing accounts, it wouldn't be bad to accomodate the main costomers will...

Tbh I don't see how the current detecting mechanic is making the game any more interesting.  Simply push a button and you know exactly where every enemy is in a 2+ km radius.  Not to mention that the detector fits on a very fast light bot.

Or light hover bots with a very high slope capacity?

I haven't seen anyone point it out on the forums in a while so i thought i would remind the devs that the current research system using kernels sucks.  It's one of the main reasons the market was crap even when the population was at more reasonable levels.

People who like to produce things and mine are often not the same people that like to grind spawns for days on end.  They don't even use related skills.  Hence those actually interested in producing don't bother playing unless they manage to convince a communist corp to give them everyone's kernels (before they quit).

That's all folks!

Imo the detection mechanic needs an overhaul.  The ping should come from the bot activating the detector and be seen by everyone else...

so that roaming gangs cant remain undetected whatever they do?

so that roaming gangs can remain undetected by avoiding enemy detectors

Probes were supposed to replace arkhe/cheap light scouts.  Making them expensive isn't gonna address that problem.    The problem isn't with the probes themselves but with the fact that they can be walled in for protection.

RE: "It s the time for test server?"

So, do we need one now?

These wall sure make for some trippy landscapes.  I suppose one question is: do we want all the choke points on beta to look like this:

And remember, once they are put down, nobody will put in the time and effort to remove them unless they completely block off a route in which case:

Don't forget that you only need to breach one tile to make a whole line of wall a useless decoration.

All our Noralgis grown
Here but now its gone
Symbionts don't fear the riveler
Nor do the termis the arkhe or kain... we can farm like they do
Come Argano... don't fear the riveler
Look inside my can... don't fear the riveler
We'll be able to farm.... don't fear the riveler
Look in your can...

Down-time is done
Haul the stuff back home
Syndic and Styx
Are together in eternity...Syndic and Styx
Farm spawns and mine everyday... Like Syndic and Styx
Farm spawns and mine everyday... Oh wait unlike Styx
Beacon farming coming everyday... getting banned like they are
Come Argano... don't fear the riveler
Look inside my can... don't fear the riveler
We'll be able to farm... don't fear the riveler
Look in your can...

Load terrain again
Haul your stuff back home
Build the wall out of segments
And it was clear they couldn't get out
The teleport deployed and the blob appeared
Shields flickered and then disappeared
The gate fired then he appeared...locking up the terrain
Come Argano... and she had no ammo
And she rolled to him...then they started to mine
They locked eachother and unlocked again...she had become a carebear
She had opened his can...she had become a carebear
Come Argano...don't fear the riveler
