That is not how you build trust.

1) Agreed
2) Agreed
3) A bit lazy don't you think?

Also I think it would be good to see who you trade with, even purely for logging/tracing purposes. Not critical for me personally though.

Crap like this is starting to make me rethink my corp choice.

Is this connected with the changes in code for the field containers in the game?

Awaiting this new reset system patiently, but if it doesn't come in the next week, I am probably unsubscribing. Not to be dramatic and all but It's really but a damper on my desire to play.

Maybe take your time and choose your skills wisely? Do people like you deliberately go out to give NeX a bad name or what?

I've noticed when tweaking my market orders that the tax is applied to the new window, even if it is a private/corp sell order. I haven't had any recent sales to see if the tax is actually applied to the transaction, however it is shown in the modification window.

I can provide screenshots tomorrow if needed.

it probably saves the status of terrain window when you dock, then when you undock it loads that setup again.

Except it doesn't remember the terminal settings and re-loads the squad window when I re-dock.

I don't mind if the two are treated separately, but it would be nice if it was consistent wink

1. Yes - Private/corp only
2. Yes on the concept, no on implementation into the game
3. Yes on the concept, no on implementation into the game
4. Yes - Would combat bots and also prevent stagnation
5. Yes
6. Yes
7. Don't use it so can't comment. However it makes sense for higher level bots to require higher skills to use effectively
8. Yes but not overly important
9. Yes
10. No - As mentioned they are already gimped
11. No-sa to this-sa
12. No
13. No. The point doesn't really matter as it is the rate which is important.

Probably a feature and not a bug, but I find if a squad window is open outside of a terminal and you close it while inside the terminal, it will be open again when you un-dock.

Personally when I close a window I do it for a reason but this might be intentional. Thought I'd mention it anyway just in case. Haven't tried other windows yet.

To give the author the benefit of the doubt, it looks like it is a generic flagging because it is a packed/obfuscated file. Happens quite regularly with 3rd party applications. Then again it could just be a tool to harvest our accounts and steal all our *** yarr

Secondly, I personally suggest anyone using such an application do so with SandBoxie.

Excellent. Very engrossing big_smile

I'm interested in submitting some fan-fic of my own, once I study up on the existing lore.

On a side-note, if/when we have "walking in terminals" or something along those lines, I want a little mecha-pal. Hell, make it a vanity MT tongue

This game will not grow while there is no functioning market.

The market functions fine. High-end things are expensive and rare, as they should be.

With the sudden increase in numbers it should improve. Patience.

Your suggestion does nothing to address the fact that many producers limit their sales to internal corporation markets.

Let the market balance itself out, don't artificially manipulate it.

Pure, utter failure of an idea.

I concur. Risk is the point. If you are on a Beta island you should have people with you or a sufficiently equipped bot to survive.

There were always such threads in the EVE forums, wanting to reduce/eliminate risk or make the game practically play itself. Sad to see them start here.

Some of the best games I have ever played have had what many would consider "bad" graphics.

I don't consider Perpetuum to have "bad" graphics personally.

To clarify my position a bit.

I think that the respective professions should have corresponding assignments associated to them. Also I personally think that each corporation should have its standing broken into the respective divisions.

So for instance someone who grinds in PvE combat doesn't get a refine bonus and those that mine don't get a repair bonus etc.

As for the "coin" system, I'm somewhat conflicted. I see that as something which is harvestable and exploitable. Relations should be rewarded to those that put in the actual effort, not purchasable.

Have you tried using the VPN as per the guide here?

Might route the traffic better.

The grind to  level 1 assignments? Maybe you just phrased that badly, but that gives me the impression you know little of it.

Yes I'll happily admit that I am rather new and only basing my opinion from my current experience. However, from what I see there is a big difference between the Industry and Combat assignments as far as remuneration goes. I haven't done Logistics myself but I hear that is somewhat unbalanced.

Chaining courier missions in a Sequer (industrial bot) is already far more rewarding, in both standings and nic, than any combat mission. It's still a grind, but saying that combat characters has it better is just disingenuous.

I personally wasn't implying that combat characters have it "better" at all, only that the assignment rewards are bigger "in the hand" from what I've seen while Industrial assignment really reward you later.

If you could buy relation, I wouldn't be playing the game. I'm sure you were just being sarcastic.

I agree. In real life terms a month-by-month subscription to Perpetuum is the cost of ~2 cups of coffee. If someone cannot afford that, I personally wonder how they can afford their computer, the electricity to run it or Internet access.

I disagree.
Both botting and RMT existed in EvE years before CCP allowed for a 'legal' way to exchange GTCs for ISK in a ruled forums section. And that was possible years before they introduced PLEXes ingame. In fact PLEXes allowed for a tighter and wider player based market and also helped a lot in fighting RMT.

While it might have helped combat RMT, it caused its own problems that we are seeing now, with huge amounts of game time stockpiled which will provide no further income to CCP.

This isn't about RMT because if someone can RMT, they can subscribe to the bloody game. Entirely separate issue.

You don't need a credit card to use PayPal. Besides I see the credit-card "barrier" as a way to keep out the younger and less mature player-base personally.

As for coffee, if you are American it is only worth 80c because it is *** tongue

To address your final point this is not about RMT. If someone has the capability to RMT, then they have the capability to subscribe. RMT is more a P2W issue.

-----

The only way that I would personally accept GTC trading or an in-game PLEX equivalent is that they expire after a certain time to prevent stockpiling.

Perhaps there might be room for fan/player contributed material? Such as stories and journals? For those interested in such things anyway as it won't affect those who don't.

So what next, people have to refine a whole bunch to get the refine discount too? roll

Manufacturing assignments would be good but I'm personally happy with the way things are.

Sounds good to me.

Yes, why reward effort with bonuses, such a silly concept.
