Killed another bunch of mechs yesterday using just light bots, very fun stuff. We love to use smaller bots to our advantage and make larger ones even more deadly.
Fun community and we enjoy piracy.
We love kicking zergs in the face and making people angry by banging pots and pans on their home islands at night.
You can fight mechs in light bots, with the right mix of support:
killed 2 kains, 1 tanked artemis, 1 ewar using 3 assaults, 1 light bot new player, and a kain for support damage.
That was taking on 2:1 odds +, screw the zerg.
Look at the good pvp corps besides the ones gloating and they'll help you.

i moved across from eve and these guys have been great, not only in supplying equipment but also in running pvp roams/training and pve nic runs. Def endorse this product
They give good fights and for that I salute them.
I'm really a new player. Here only a few day's.

ATG is a great corp for you to work with, and they have some really good pilots. I would suggest trying them.
Our recruitment is fairly limited right now, and I really only take guys that have good teamwork skills and the ability not to fecal explode on vent.

Which is why I thought I had the potential to fit in your group. But this said I can understand that you have to keep control over your recruitment. Quantity is good, but quality is better as they say, isn't it? 
I will probably follow your kind suggestion and pay a visit to M2S and/or ATG. Roam safe.
Yeah we had a number of applies that blew up on coms yesterday. I mean literally they groaned and well , just exploded everywhere. If they can't handle the assault-plosion exam well.... sorry.
