That's not me, or if it is, i'm about 15 years older now. lol

You played Darkfall... the ruse is up Dread... You aren't getting away this easily sir... I will hold your secrets but first you must admit that...my cast, was indeed, better then yours.

And that's it, people thought I was DREAD in darkfall, hahahahahah! I wasn't.

They always said I was DREAD playing a trick...

The fun thing is one of my best guys I played with is in darkfall and his name is dreadnaught ziglug

contracts are a good idea, that would make corps work much better, I've forgotten them.

No alliance features are needed, like the others said focus on other corp features like showing corp leaders what is in production etc or help develope pve content.

More basic functionality in the game, and more pve.

New forum, if you can answer the questions, welcome to apply. If you can't take the time, find another corp.

www.62nd.comxa.com

Like I've said, we need more fun pve content to do besides killing each other. This will attract more players to the game, and retain players that are bored doing the kernel grind/mine/defend cycle.

More targets in game, more fun for everyone.

This isn't the only solution to player retention, or the ideal solution, but it is a strong one.

it was a good discussion, thanks for letting me come.

I do wish we had discussed other topics as well, but there's just so much time

PIRATES THAT HELP TEACH NEW PLAYERS

We have a series of sessions where we sit down with you and go through the basics of terrain, game mechanics and basic pvp information so that you can jump from other game pvp mechanics into this games pvp mechanics.

Now we are helping our new players by going through some sessions with them so they can raid with a hi hi ho and a hey hey hey!

If you have attended agony's classes in eve, I'm a graduate of many of them, and I intend for these classes to help newer players in much the same way agony's basic 101 class would.

Hershfield BATTLE ROYALE

We've been wanting it for ages but we couldn't find the right time to do it! It's a FULL ON COMBAT, NO GUTS NO GLORY WINNER TAKES ALL BATTLE ROYAL IN THE MAZE OF HERSHFIELD. Here's how it will go down. Contestants will be placed in
the entrance to the maze that is hersfeld at certain points. From these points they flag up, and navigate the maze trying to kill all targets. Once all targets are dead the winner is proclaimed victor.

We will have two types of rounds for this event. One round will be the assault round. Inidviduals bring assault bots t1 fit to the arena, and given the 200 sd bonus, they try to find and kill eachother!! Again t1 fits.

The next round will be more for beginners/less ep charachters where they use light bots to hunt eachother down. The stealth in this event is gone, but the players have a bit more advantage. Again t1 fits, prom, castel, yagel.

Here is the outlined area, and pending on the players participating you can see the entry points:

Why: BATTLE ROYALE
What: Assaults t1 fit for assault/stealth royale // light bots t1 fit for beginner royale.
Who: You and your imaginary friend Roboto

Hello,

We'll be running a new event this coming June 19th, at 20:00. In this event we'll be having a rodeo contest for teams of 2. The idea behind this is that you and a partner will go inside a spawn and try to tank it for awhile. The spawn will consist of 3 assaults and 3 light bots. The team that can tank the spawn for the highest amount of time wins. It's pretty simple, and it's easy. You bring your bot, stay inside the spawn and get blown up.

A developer will be on hand to replace bot losses for this event. So you do get everything back! big_smile

The team that stays the highest amount of time wins first prize, and the team with second highest will win a runner up prize.

The developer sponsoring this event has mentioned he'll be sprucing up the area a bit for this.

Rules:
What: It's a rodeo, go into a spawn and stay inside the marked area long enough and you/your partner win the prize!!!
When: June 26th 20:00
Why: It was a nice idea put by one of the devs, and I thought it would be fun.
What: Assaults and lower are allowed with tech 1 fitted gear.
Who: You and your pal!
Where: I'll update this, but it's a spawn near galoly station. It's surrounded by some hills, with the mobs right near each other.

Let's see who can last the longest..... or has balls of steel.

Removed waypoints, still some lag when "ADDING" item to cargo from mined cycles.

How many mining points do you have on them? I have a ton.

Thanks.

I think it's the number o fmining points I have.

I have a harvesting noralgis farmer and he doesn't have the lag.

I think you're right about the waypoints.  My original post was mining on hoop where I have lots of waypoints.  On other islands where I have far less it's not noticeable.

Yes, thanks for contributing.

I was meaning geoscan results, but I do have a lot of waypoints as well.

I have eliminated a ton of geoscan results from my map, and I think possibily the waypoints may add lag too.

This has helped, however I still notice some lag when items appear in my container.

ok, my reason why I didn´t sign for the panel, is because I don´t consider myself much of a public speaker. I get all nervous and stuff tongue

Nevertheless, you can put me on the Panel list for Saeder-Krupp [SK].

Mobios , you did a fine job talking on TS. Dont worry.

Syndic wrote:

BTW, will there be any moderation of the panel....

I think most people are  adults and are more interested in having a topic discussed and analyzed. I don't think we'll go into a yell fest. We're leaders after all. We can present/state our political views, and just move on. A lot of us have already hashed it out. smile

This is the panel I have from the players who posted in this thread with the exception fo the M2S spot. I spoke with M2S leadership on TS.

  • Corp: 62nd - Mara Kaid

  • Corp: Foom - Friedrich Psitalon

  • Corp: IG - Khader Khan

  • Corp: CIR - Syndic

  • Corp: M2S - Lupus Aurelius

Please quote this post and confirm if you are still going to be on the panel.

Sure I'll confirm, my spot, mara kaid. I'll get alex, or mobios on.

t4 lwf and t4 demob proto up on market now. Pirates always willing to lend a hand so that people can raid more!

Ok if I harvest on another character on a different account but from the same computer and same client I get no lag.

I think it's tied to bookmarks and the fact I have 900 waypoints on the main miner.

At home I harvested plants on asintec alpha, and I had the lag less, but still it chunks.

You're right.

People mine common mats on alpha so they don't expose themselves to risk on beta. It's a working strategy. It's one that people do on tellesis then ship in the commons when low "threat" on their time zone. Thus opens up the possibility for more pvp.

Gankers in addition gladly contribute to pushing miners back on alpha.

I'm not clear the point in your post, or what point you wish to say?

Isn't it nice that there is plenty of ore for you to use and have, and monsters? It's good for solo players and let's them have a line up.

It's with my cargo I think.

I can hold on 1 laser on a tile and mine, but as I do, my client locks up a bit when it fills up. If I turn on 5 mining lasers I will completely lock up after a bit.

BUG:
@ Tellesis area

1. Take out mining bot with 4-5 mining lasers to a place to mine.
2. Turn on one laser to see if client gets lag when cargo fills up.
3. If you experience lag, then turn on 4-5 lasers.
4. Will experience client lock up in 10-15 second intervals + sometimes hangup ( I play from two different computers ).

Roughly two people I know experience this and they are in Southern United states location.

All the new alpha islands have a lot of ore on them. I realize you're seeing m2s there, and think it's unbalanced because of that, however it's a great place to gather resources. I don't see it as a huge threat to the entire game.

Just players taking advantage of the good spots. You'll notice with the spread the spots on alpha will be decent as well.

Other corps knew of the good resources there as well, RG, TOG etc. I don't think you've seen them.

I don't see much unbalanced about it to be honest.

still pretty laggy, i get these lock ups when i mine. I don't understand why it happens. I can't mine from one place I play from, and can another ( the other I can from has lock ups )

Great turnout this time, and we had a bunch of new players as well.
The new players that came consisted of a majority of new guys, which was great for the new player tournament.

The experienced bracket was small ( hiyate/ulroth/mara ) . With ulroth vs mara in first round ( yagel ) vs ( prom ) a long fight but I won. The next round I lost due to hiyates good artillery damage. I did futz with ammo switching.

The beginner bracket had some excellent matches. I am happy to watch them try out some good fights and I saw some very close fights. In particular one good fight was the castel vs castel. And the last fight which was a very drawn out fight, consisted between selmak and responsor.

The winner of the beginner bracket is selmak.
The winner of the advanced bracket is hiyate.

Good deaths in the robot.

We had someone helping film the material, thanks to DAOPA of AXE, and baglodush of 62nd. We will post the video of the fight here.

We also thank the developers for their additions to the arena, as we noticed that there was some nice terrain added!
