That's an easy decision when you have a monthly subscription.

edit: removed - I dont know why I even bother trying to hint at the obvious. Continue on with your lucrative business decisions. Don't listen to the people who pay for your ***.

Syndicate Batmobile - All black model of this new bot that will be added in next two months that is designed as a shuttle who has base speed of 150 and only one leg slot. 50/50 masking detection.

Give as gift to all players one time.

Not sure what you need to do to get around the trademark just make all black models or all pink models of certain bots. Make a section on website where you can purchase bots with a paintjob as a redeemable code. I know it sounds like pay to win but set it at like $9.99 for pink ictus. If people are willing to drop ten bucks on a single robot go for it. It isnt going to unbalance the stockpiles that are probably nearing the hundreds of thousands mark or even millions.

Come back gunner. Perp needs you!

Let's not do an aoe patch though. One thing at a time that might completely break the game

You all know that when you reduce the price permanently you can't ever go back, so it's not that simple.

Is this like an unspoken rule for customer service?  Or is there some feature not allowing you to go back up in price on Steam.

We aren't trying to be mean or belittle your product because let's face it, most of us think it's a damn fine game!  But we want people to play with!

And at some point the model needs to flip to sustain growth.  Meaning Cheap Intro price into the game and heavy sales on ICE.  With ICE being $10/15:

Credits Being used on: Paint jobs, small vanity items, recustomization services and non game breaking items, cutting EP in half on non boasted accounts.

Once you have those items in place, get people in and make moneys off micro transactions.  win - win

Dont increase cost of base game. Look at what ville is saying. Keep base game low and get people in, with a decent population others will fall in love like us and also cry for paintjobs. The current playerbase would probably drop enough $$$ on a pink ictus alone to fund your servers for a year.

a thousands subs and only 20 stay in gen chat? I dont doubt you had 1000+ subs but if you are only retaining 5% then there needs to be some changes to pricing.

I talked with a lot of new players and the resounding reply to my question "What do you think about the game costing $30 regularly?"

was that it was ridiculous and are glad they are only trying it for the 7.50. When asked what they would price it the average was ~$15

External prices can't differ from the Steam price and Steam sale durations are fixed.

Then you need to permanently set the price at 7.50 for base game.

I spoke with several of the new players and a couple actually mentioned finding out about perp from a write up on the smiling hand social club 30b isk theft and somehow perpetuum was mentioned

the whole thing is solved when red npcs roam again

Very true. If this could happen before new years that would be sweet. Still think it would be a good mechanic regardless of miners too. Perpetual gate scouts, effect on long battles (both pve and pvp), potential for new module uses/skills/mechanics.

Anything involving enwar fascinates me.

All you would have to do is dock your miners for one second to fix it. I'm not too worried about scarab just saying it would stop that.

Was browsing some other threads and saw one about weapons that do damage based on cap. What about weapons that also scale with your cap. Example: weapon does x damage and costs y cap per shot. The difference is it takes 1% of current cap to increase damage by z%. T3 and t4 mods would scale by also increasing % current cap consumption to 2.5% and 5% respectively or something like that, maybe even increase base damage and flat consumption.

I think accumulators should have a reduced maximum capacity and recharge the longer a bot is deployed without docking. The perpetual shielded and masked gate scouts could be blapped. Afk scarab gone. Botting pve gone. Also opens up potential for enwar to have added utility. Possibly energy drainer accelerate this degredation.

I think 50% reduced capacity and 50% reduced recharge capped at 6 hours without docking is reasonable.

I don't think free credit but maybe 7 day ep boost and free downgrade

I can no longer use my perp clients not tied to steam. Not sure if from update but if I look in my process from task manager it shows three perp processes running at 116kb of memory and it is impossible to close them. When I attempt to use the exe it does nothing besides start these background processes and then remain hung up.

edit: also tried reinstalling them all to the same effect

+1 to no LOS on l-demobs but since S-demobs are so powerful make them LOS

I was thinking this as soon as I realized the L demob was broken. If someone is lwf and double plated that would counter an L demob easily but would be affected by s. If you are blue pilot then L demob being no LOS is fine tongue

Also if you are blue pilot an s demob is no problem either smile

not to mention seth mk2 lol.

Tbh im happy with most of the mechanics as is as long as new content is coming im happy. Legit new content, not polish.

Honestly a lot of good things in this thread. Syndic said it well and villa produced the evidence, one tuner makes more difference than the last two levels of skill and plates don't have enough drawback. Personally I love medium plates and the ability to put them on smaller bots.

I don't like the idea of a weight limit but it should scale exponentially with the intended weight so that a little over the line will slow you down but go too far and you only got 10 kph.

Would also love the ability to calculate speed in mps and not kph

Ok fair enough. Several of them could use a revisit when time alots. I always like seeing specialty roles and mad buff for a mad draw back. I liked pills on eve. Wouldnt mind being able to take a nora concentrate to really up my crit chance for a big drop in rof. Snipers with terrain that matters would make this so interesting.

Got my answer, thanks ville!

When I came here from eve online and saw the sparks I *** bricks. Their bonus is awesome and the best part is they dont get destroyed.

No need for a buff or rebalance here

Been debating if I should come back after the patches that have come out. Seem to be a lot of steps in the right direction but how effective are they now that they have been put in place?

At least give us a way to spend the disproportionate amount of junk kernals we get. Everything uses common or HT kernals, leaving us with stocks of junk race kernals of some kind left over. Even if its refining them into fragments or some other useful item or hell allowing them to replace something in a recipe. After a point race kernals are a moot point other then injecting into new corps that are rarely formed or survive!

If you could take 5 of every race (yellow, green, blue) and turn those 15 total kernals into a common that would be badass. Also take 15 of every kernal to get a hightech. This should be related to gamma structures and beta terminals at the very most. Similar to decoder lab.

TBH not sure on a number for conversions but of course it would need to be a number that makes sense. This is just an example smile
