I'd love to see where the game is going ... Where it's going now is pretty slow to be disappointingly honest.

I can agree with most of that, but i have mixed feelings about what the OP and Xodad each say about the stealth bubble and another nexus module.  I don't like the idea of everyone being forced to find a way to fit another module into their fit for as Celebro stated.  Not that I have any input beyond that though. 

I would like to suggest cargo expanders like EVE and different industrial gathering tools, yes, like EVE.  They have mining tools that extract far more resources, can use specialized crystals and have 3x the cycle time.  They also do not use ammo for generic mining tools.

How would you solo with this type of robot?  How would the player kill the very first robot?  Chase players into red enemies? 

What type of modules would the Master Necromancer robot equip that were specific to that type of 'class'?  What type of Extensions would you have and what would the multipliers and bonuses be per level of the Extension? 

Honestly, we need a lot more information.

We seriously need a Logistics specific robot that gets obvious Logistics support and defense type of bonuses for the Beta and Gamma players.

This has the potential to be a very nice added bonus or buff to robot stats.  Could help us beyond the spark with fitting modules.  If you give the rigs a % chance to break that would also add risk into exchanging rigs.  If there were another extension that would increase your chance to remove rigs safely that would give another EP sink too. 

Say there was a 75% chance to destroy rigs upon removal, and each level of the extension adds a 2.5% chance to remove the rig w/o destroying it, only dropping the chance of destruction % to 50 at level 10. 

There must be a drawback of some sort.  For example, it could add 5-10% cpu but decrease reactor the same amount.  Add Accumulator recharge but drop Accumulator capacity.  Add speed % but reduce armor by a multiplier of 2 - 5. 

I like the idea.

I was leaning along the side of each account getting a portion of ep based off how long the game has been running vs the age of the account.  So, yes, it would just hand a gob of ep to players, but it could help by permitting people who don't have the ep they need to get a little one time boost to help them get that much closer to their hopeful pvp goals. 

There might be more combat ... then again it could backfire.  It was a decent idea, perhaps not all the way thought out. 

Maybe we need dueling?  Automatically shuts down when one player is to 1hp (no robot destruction.) 

I guess they are bad ideas.  wink  I'll drop it.

It should, but when people fear leaving Alphas for beta blobs it won't happen. 

If you guys would relinquish control to a few islands things could seriously turn around.  If not, we will see how long the game stays active with the current population.  How many times have you guys left because of no pvp?  3 I believe? 

How soon before you get it ... there will be very little to no pvp when you act all greedy.  You can control them all ... but SHOULD you? 

Think of the game's future ... it's not just about you guys.

Just because some noob can control a H. Mech does not mean they are doing it well.  And obviously if they have their EP going into H. Mech then they have had guidance or are an alt of someone that can afford the H. Mech which also means they have experience in that world anyhow. 

So ... what kind of stuff are you trying to say?  Because I am certain you gained more then 20k ep in 3 years ...

Your Alliance will moan about having no pvp but you brush aside ideas that could bring it to you?  That's great for closed mindedness.  smile

I talk to new Corp / Alliance mates about that too Norrdec.  smile  I use EvE references when doing so too.  Just to help it sink in.  Though, that honestly goes for Mechs and H. Mechs.

It was an idea on the fly.  Kinda made sense.  It should be a lot harder for a Corporation or Alliance to defend its multiple Outposts and having diminishing returns for the lack of real control makes sense.  Just because it's at 100 doesn't mean its being protected ...

I have gotten this also.  It happens when I go to deploy the can then cancel deployment because I realize I was in a bad spot then try to deploy again.  It's like a 60 sec timer or something.

I was sitting in my chair staring at the world map and was thinking of how we could alleviate the power of the alliance and anyone else who tries to pull the same antics.

Make it to where a Corp can only hold a maximum of 3 outposts with 100% efficiency (1 of each color) after that the drop to 75% for 4 and 50% across the board for 5.  I am referring to any bonuses given by the station, whether buffs or facilities.  Perhaps they should have more take over timers providing absolutely no loot for defending them (all Outposts) unless they have 3 or less Outposts.

The strong get stronger while the weak struggle to get a foothold somewhere.  Where is everyone going?  Being forced to be on Alpha due to the power of the Elites ... thats great.  And the steam players went where?  Maybe the server move will bring them back ... because we know it was lag that was the entire issue ...

I don't expect the power hungry to like this, but I don't care.  It was just a thought that there should be some sort of drawback for the power hungry.  smile

I think it would be interesting to see a revamp of how EP is given to players who are created anytime since launch. 

In order to have a balance of power of sorts, what if players were given EP based off the age of the game, so they could compete better with the Vets and such.  Not a huge amount, but something to add competition ...

Yes, this would mean a server side EP delivery for any account that was not created on day 1 of the initial release. 

We need more Extensions anyhow, and I am being serious.

I think Deminyon has a good point.  Balancing my arse.  Other t4 weapons get more ammo capacity, so don't give  that bs.

Sounds good, however, i'm a bit confused.  Would this be an npc feature hauling / NIC sink or ... i have no idea.

I'm no industry gal, this is beyond my scope of knowledge.
