YES! make them consume a bit of plasma every now and again =P and then ofc make npcs drop moar plasma =P
Why not just a smaller one?? (PBS) dont need a new type, just shrink the size, stats and cost and youre good to go.
Why? Because one of big reasons for a stagnant game is that people are doing the same old same old, some new bots and smaller PBS and we might see some new, active, corps start to form. Theres no reason you should be a 200 man corp for it to be viable, not to bring up steve all the time, but ive seen people have 16 POS there, solo. Final note, plz 2 has mining tower that mines 24/7 if you fuel it??

Jump jets sound nice on paper, but is it worth it for all the trouble they bring? You guys mention engine limitations, bu theres also balancing problems... What stops a gropho fleet from jumping into a little ditch in the ground, similar to the ones ppl us for probes on gamma, and not ger shot at all? Also, it requires a new set of animations for each robot, and we've seen how long that takes 
A SAW member has recently claimed able to jump into another dimension exactly like our own, except SAW doesn't exist there. He reports AIG's gamma surrounded by 80+ turrets, he claims they left the game from boredom after no one showed up for 2 weeks. He also claims ville as the leader of the kb with 11 kills, all on Hershfield.

Gamma intrusions and general turret blowing up should drop more loot.

NPCs using stuff like RR (ofcourse not on small alpha spawns, or they'd eat all the nubs for dinner) would be super awesome as it would not only add to the games PvE (where it's pretty lacking) but would also give ewar a role in PvE, which would be super awesome :3
Never really been a fan of the overdrive thingy, because it looks good on paper and you can say "it wont be used in PvP" all you want to, but if it makes u faster, it will. If it's an active module that gives you [insert massive debuff here] and speed, then it'll be used by everyone to flee/charge if you have massive advantage, and thus become just as required to have as LWFs. If it's a passive module... Shield tanked 150kph range fit grophoz here I come.
I put my noobs in an assault or light ewar on day 1 if they wanna PvP, what's this light class robot you speak of?
