I agree with OP. My opinion is: Mining tower shall boost mining proccess, nothing more.

I paused to check everything before to say something. And now i'm sure: I like perpetuum as it is.

1) At least there are less chance for blobbing, undesirable PvP and losts. Guys, really. Last few months i read topics about problems around demobs-vs-plates and current speed charachteristics... I see the only one thing: it's hard to destroy enemy robots. Yes. You don't need a victory, you looking for kills. This is fatal habit for kills in the game spoils everything. You don't care about intrusions. Kills, kills, kills...

2) Assignment system. Of course there are lot of work, but good foundation set. Less walks, more action, more ways for getting rewards. Good job DeVs!

3) Shouting around pay to win? F#ck you guys. I remember the time with plated seths and 9-10 repair bots on follow and everything was fine. When DeV's gave opportunity for noobs to get some EP (in starter packs) you started a holywar against P2W. Basically f#ck you here...

4) Goal for a solo play. Finnaly it appeared. Black robots looks tasty and available. This is a really officer bots and it have to be.

I could continue to list the dignity of the game, but I will not. I will say this:

Dear DeV's! Continue your work and don't give a chance to shift balance to interests some players. Your money - new players. Make interesting game for them. Old players will play anyway.

This is not a crash, but rebalance. 6th lvl assignments gives ~10-20 mil nic. That's it. Ppl have lot of money, so will be new balance on market. This is a good one i think.

Ok, i see 6 pages in the topic and no any kind of pool the problems. That means there are no big problems with robot balance OR developers have no time to read, analyze and aggregate.

What for need a pool? - For now i need read all posts to make sure the problem not sounded yet.

Yes, highway bonus have to be removed under demob. Energy tanks been replaced by ECMs, now it's time to play with demob.

BTW we can create some kind of roadmap around equipment and rearrange it every... hmm.. 3 months? If this changes bring back 1-2 vet players game will increase it's popularity on ~10-15%.

TLDR: +1

Astrologers proclaim the week of demob. Everyone should use demobs cause of it cancels highway effect on enemies.

Yes. Many people bought game. They able to play it for "free" (with no additional investments), but they not plays.
Why? Ok, need to explain one more time:
The players tried all aspects of the game. We killed each others really LOT of times in all possible and impossible variants (that been fixed/nerfed/boosted).
We learned all database, made all kinds of robots.

Eddie Murphy told about it many time ago. So basically we heard that noise (uuuuUGGHHHH!) from the game. No mystery anymore - no interests. This is our b*tch. We know about her too much...

When your population is so small it doesn't exist as in perpetuum you have to focus on making a great one player game. If they enjoy it on their own then they will enjoy it as a group. That is where perpetuum has failed.

I think the idea is not clear for you. We have the old players, who really able to spoil the game for new players. Many of them not acive now. But after good newbies inflow they will back. And i suggest to make some barriers for that players - not against active players.

The problem is that when new players activity increases, old players like a rawen swarm assault and chase them everywhere. Just because of they can. They have a lot of robots, a lot of guns and a lot of EP to be able beat noobs.

I still can't understand the DeVs, when they filmed that video on alsbale. When couple M2S just murdered toons of newbies under Brightstone. That should be a signal for them, but nothing has been done. Lot of ppl leaved just because of such injustice but DeV's still going follow the dead-end EvE-online EP politics.

I remind you. Eve dies. It had good popularity because of it released in the time of lack the good games. There are no inflow the new players. At the same time old players leaves it one by one.

Concept is: If you not plays the game - you do not need EP. If you have old account - you should not have an advantage on new players, who start play when you decided play again. This is not fair for ppl who just found the game.

In the all normal/popular games every year raises level of players and equipment. So old ones who started play after long break must overtake the others.

This "feature" not for you. Moreover this is against me too. But new players should be first on care of developers.

I ask to limit EP amount that possible accumulate on account to 200k.
Exceptions:
1) Extensions downgrade
2) EP reset/unlock
3) EP booster should still give 1440 everyday (not 2880) after accumulate 200k
4) maybe few other exceptions.

More reasons to login and play the game.
