Topic: Sparks, robots and assignments (2 replies, posted in Feature discussion and requests)
What if some future robots would require sparks for driving? Like, for mk3 promethius/baphomet - Shiva 1.0 and above, etc. Or maybe new classes would require that.
What do you think? That would give assignments and standings more meaning.

Об http://perpetuum-world.com - я когда год назад помню в сручате всем кричал чуть не матом уже "Пишите пожелания, пишите статьи, пишите гайды" меня все игнорировали и вели разговоры в томже сручате типа - "Кому и на какой это нужно". Я не пишу пока этот сайт лично по соображениям - не кому не нужно, дак на какой это нужно мне ?????? Если есть пожелания ради бога. Ещё раз повторюсь - рассмотрю все варианты......
Кстати прошу заметить - сайт НЕ КОГДА не произносил какие то речи или склонял когото в сторону какой либо корпы - мы всегда делали это ДЛЯ ВСЕХ !!!!!!!
Их таких 100500 просто, что теперь, в каждом писать? Да и от основной масса отрываемся чересчур

There was 2 main thoughts:
1) Limit SpT for all alphas and corp-owned gammas only. For betas, implement these, let's call them, tunnel beacons. There should be 2 types of them - an entrance and an exit. Both should require expanded warmup and life time, jump interval is debateable. Add a new extension, each level of it should increase max jump range. Back to the beacons: deploy entrance anywhere, then deploy one or more exits. Limit usage for squads. Player can jump from entrance to any exit if it's in his jump radius - but not vice versa. Both beacons are destroyable, both can be deployed in PvP areas only.
2) player-built stationary teleports - beta and gamma type. Gamma type teleports are constructable as other buildings, need to be connected to the energy lines, teleport network is manageable. Beta teleports, on other hand, can be deployed with 2km radius restrictions, work as those non-connected stationary teleports we have now, but require energy for working - says, you feed it with energy cells (additional usage for them) or even robot energy transferers, and it works until out of energy - then you need to refuel it again. Both beta and gamma type teleports should be destructable and should weight enough to use at least a sequer to carry them (like interzones)

Good, finally you've agreed that using multiple accounts, as it was stated earlier, is not an advantage in both SpT and BS cases. That also means that number of SpT targets is not a problem too, because in both single- and multiple boxing you have paid for them.
/facepalm. Listen and try to comprehend the words which I am typing. If you think multiple accounts versus multiple sparks is the same premise. Then your ignoring the fact EP plays a role in this, unless your account sharing or Merkle.
Exactly! BS is more OP than a SpT, it doesn't require any EP nor NIC investment at all! I'm glad you admit that, my good friend.

It's because you can't blood spark to any betas. Your only allowed to spark to ONE location. I wouldn't assume you thought your post all the way through. Try to atleast use critical thinking skills some.
Try to think at least two moves ahead. I can use 5, 10, whatever more accounts with different bloodsparks and be everywhere, really everywhere, because bloodsparking works on closed stations too. So thaaaats the point of this 33-paged epic poem. Let me translate it: "Dear DEVs, once we had numbers, and spark tp was our advantage. We failed to hold those numbers, and lost them, and as a result, lost that advantage. Now please, remove it from those other guys too, because we don't want them to have it and can't get the numbers."
So here is the simpliest solution for you guys: get your numbers, bots, whatever else you need, you know, just play the game, or just leave it.

The only way to damage anyone with armor nexus - if a player affected by that nexus, with full hp etc will dock in. Thats an old known bug. Simply switching it on and off will hurt noone.
The whole idea isn't that bad, but maybe it will be better to add new nexus instead of replacing old one.

It was possible before spark tp even announced, nothing really changed after so I don't see any connection. Yes, making Specimen SAP became a little easier but taking to the account it's dumb already, that's not bad.

Here is my initial attempts at a system for reballancing MK2 robots into interesting roles. Some of the roles are inspired by Perpetuum, some of the roles are inspired by EVE.
I don't mean to hijack your thread Burial but I feel like alot of these ideas could be mixed together with your MK3 system (specialized bots that are not straight upgrades at everything).
Good thoughts, however, evasive lights will be too op - ppl will just zerg with them killing everything here and there. Should be something one - hit size or immune to demob.

It doesn't shoot, it just runs empty cycles. Same with all the other modules. No more autostop on out of energy, that's it.
