i have collected a number of bots at one terminal, and i need to move them to another. do i have to buy arkhes at the new terminal in order to get all the stuff there one by one, or am i supposed to buy one of those big things with the treads to haul the robots to the new terminal?

orb, while its great you support that, i think we've already got a system where ingame money can be traded for unused timecodes, i just want to know if it is legal.

seriously, and eighth of everyone i know from eve online stayed subbed from plex, and since people are still buying the timecodes, you Avatar guys still get money.

many of my friends from eve played eve without paying real money. this is because they had lots and lots of time, but not very much money IRL. here's how they did it:

1) grind lots and lots of moneys in game
2) buy "plex" (pilots liscence extension) from people who had IRL $$$, but not enough time to grind to support their pvp habit or whatever.

plex was purchasable for real cash, and represented a month's sub. the rich IRL players purchase this with real money to sell ingame to people with lots of game money and time so they can all play more happily.

the difference between this and the NEX market they are considering is this, the rich player could only buy stuff from the market that players had made, and the isk did not come from nowhere. in the current model of the NEX store, players can buy stuff that pops out of nowhere (no manufacturing) that they can still sell on the market.

here's the important question, after all that explaining: can your timecodes in Perpetuum be legally traded for ingame money? if so, many of my friends will happily switch. if not, then they may have to kick the MMO habit altogether.

heh, yeah and a lot of us that flew with or were corp/alliance mates with those C&P types (Helicity, Lady Spank, etc). We been asking Heli how long before he starts ganking mining mechs wink

gonna have to come up with a new name, cause ____ageddon won't work, as none of the high level indy bots have single sylabol names.

and please do this, this carebear loves to see the competition wither and fall away.

I'd start the article myself, but I'm still learning the game, my effort would only barely be adequate at best.

this, my eve buddies are laughing at me because wikipedia does not know my game.

hi, i guess i'm partly to blame for lagging your game, i'm an eve refugee.

sorry i broke your hamsters, and thanks for the warm welcome!

also, dont do MT. i never thought i'd have to tell a subscription based MMO that, and look what it got me last time sad

can anyone else not find perpetuum in that list?

anyone do this? in eve it was awesome because you could have a combat guy and an indy guy, or one guy could haul for the other one as they mine.

in order to set up a second account, would i have to give a second email or something? has anyone done this here?

i played eve too, just cancelled yesterday.

the fun of eve was my friends, and binging some isk to do something stupid. all our best stories came from "one day we decided to do something stupid." the story would often include wormhole space (beta islands) lowsec (beta islands) or nullsec (beta islands)

even when we just mined, we had a ball, chatting and carrying on, messing with passersby.

just remember the second M in MMO, and eve gets a lot funner. i assume perpetuum is the same.

vane, i don't think that ccp will fold till early next year at the earliest. i don't think that their finances are that bad. i've been wrong.

forgive this fresh eve noob for posting something that has probably been posted. smile

is the entire planet a huge island chain? or does Nia have some major landmasses? i rather miss the hugeness that we had in eve, not only could you fly in any direction for an inifnite amount of time, there were some several thousand systems to play in.

You developers could probably look at some areas in California for inspiration. coastline, forests, deserts, mountains, California has a lot of it.

you might have to, i'm one of many. your servers don't seem to have enough real estate for us atm, it'll be a matter of time till the islands are gonna feel crowded too

while i'm posting, have you guys discussed aircraft?

they seem to be on the money with the reason that i came here. the reason i stayed was because a gm private convoed me on my first day and showed me the ropes.

i'm not blueing the locals yet, they all look like guys from C+P:P

basicly, the devs flipped us the bird. they jump on the MT bandwagon in spite of a 70% of eve players saying in a survey that they do not want, and they ignore the unanimous vote of the so called "council of stellar management" (player elected representatives) to not do MT.

disrespect this customer, this customer pays no more. double bill me will ya.

also, they released half of a quarter of an eighth of an expansion. 1/64th does not cut it.
