There are clearly things that look like there ought to be highways.

Please enable them?

Well Hak is a small Island, with 4 outposts. Looking forward to seeing you guys this weekend. You dont need highways. Especially since your time there will be short lived :-D

You will probably prefer to be somewhere else.

Actually the fix is simple for both. Just limit the container use per character. Lets say 1-5 can be deployed. Or if you deploy a container the old one disappears.

im all for the limiting of containers.

I wanted to talk to you about a couple of scenarios concerning field containers.

First scenario. You have a corp that is mining. Most corps use a single container when doing this. Then you have a griefer. The griefer sees the corp mining and decides to buy a 100 containers. He grabs many  of those containers and runs out to the corp miners can. Then places as many containers as he can next to the miners can(or on top of it). While leaving them open. This causes the hauler pilot to continue to pick through the containers til he finds the right one.

Second scenario. Someone grabs 50 containers. Decides to drop them next to a terminal or teleport. Besides filling up your landmarks when incoming. This eventually causes lag from deploying players in a terminal. As the landmark has to load and they are extra objects in the field of vision. This scenario is worse than the first. As it causes disruption to other players. Both in memory and gameplay.

This was a issue in EVE 3-4 years ago. They place containers next to any incoming transit point to lag the incoming player out.

I hope you take this into consideration. As this can become a serious problem.

I want to create a 2nd account on the same computer, but I am not sure which is the best way to do this.  Could someone advise me please?  Thanks.

Easiest way is to make a new empty folder.

Name it (Perp II) or something. Then goto your perpetuum files, select all and copy. Then goto your new file and open it. Then click paste.

It's actually pretty rare statistically for an mmo to die. They do get old and stale though, especially if the ones run by a big software company get devs pulled to work on another project.

360k subs with a maybe 0.5% drop in subs doesn't seem like dying for me, imo.

Okey Dokie!!

What someone does with a redeem code is up to them. You will not see those codes on the in-game market. If you are able to work out a deal with another player that is your business.

Currently subscription codes are separate from Perpetuum. Currently there are no plans to introduce that in game.
