@Anni: that's why I said "mining modules". Hauler bots shouldn't be supposed to do things like mining, harvesting, building or whatever else engineering. Actually, they don't really need chassis slots at all.

@Hulk_Hogue: thing is that AFK-miners can be found on Alphas too, and there is no threat for them at all.

@Jita: If they gonna sell it, that would result in player base reduction, as it will be like "why should I pay for new bot I've waited for years and it doesn't have anything special". Would be much better to implement paint jobs but hey, that's another "let's finish it later" project.

Actually, no, even easier. Just forbid mining modules on hauler bots and that's it.

There should be a cap fixed amount every 24hrs regardless of EP accumulated. I just don't find it reasonable..
;;;

Better to limit max free ep as amount needed for lvl10 of extension of complexity 9 = it's 54k EP. Once you hit that limit, you either get just dayly 1440 or don't get it at all. That will at least prevent situations where new contend is arrived and you're got all the required extensions maxed immediately.

Another wall of text

No matter how much effort they will put into planning and balancing, there will always be someone who thinks it's wrong and imba. So it's better to implement something new and then (if necessary) balance it.

Your main problem is that you think that robot parts are somehow linked with robot stats and attributes. But they are not, it's just 3D model. Stop thinking in that way.

That works too. Although we'd have a lot of robots with Sequer tracks already, but I could switch the Hermes to Termis tracks then, that's more proportionate to its chassis anyway.

Yes, please. Tho there can't be too much sequer legs big_smile

Good question would be, what will be the specialization of the syndicate EW mech? Pretty much the only "open" niche is a demobbing specialist unless you're planning to make it a jack-of-all?

I agree with Syndic. Would be nice to see bots specialized in demobilization and/or interference modulation (seems those be the only EW uncovered) than one of the existing or even worse, everything of existing.

how about Seth chassis on sequer legs? Should look nice, whatever role it will play.

Those will be not top-end content, why should they require colixium? Buying CT might be ok but nothing special in materials.

WTB 2x Echelons and 1x Hermes

no, it was because he didn't implemented it

So basically you like it, it's just Ville playing the game villeficating it huh

Now, when we have fitting system, it's tme to go further.

Let us have a brand new corporation role - a Corporate Security Director, or General. Corpmember with such role can manage corporate fits - base CRUD operations, along with access control. So as such General, I can says create brand new fit, name it, then save it to corporation database. Then I can grant access, or send it to choosen players.

Once they got such fit (including spark btw), they can see minimal extensions requirements (again, including spark). Once a corpmember gets required extensions, he automatically gets some kind of tag visible for General in some special window, where he can select online players and create some kind of plan - who can (and will) pilot what and once he created such plan, he can just say "hey PlayerA, fit as FitX, and you PlayerB, you fit as FitY", and everyone knows what to do and what to fit.

Good system, isn't it? Later it can be extended to include corporation espionage, hacking, etc.

It's realy strange to say that, but Ville is right. Screw daily EP.

Let's revert the whole game and try again. Definitely something went wrong on the way

THERE. IS. ONLY. ONE. LINE.
