I have enjoyed my time in game so far, and it is great seeing others coming over as well. I am probably going to sub soon. My first impression is that there is some familiarity, I love the complexity of some of the aspects, and I like the pvp focus while still offering other avenues for different play styles. 
the thing is that its a chance to get in on the game now and get a massive foothold before it gets any bigger, great opportunity to get ahead of the game

Still getting to grips with the game, definitely has vast similarities to eve, both a blessing and a curse. But with robots (hoping for some liken from the film : District 9 and/or Vulture from Mechwarrior Vengeance), free movement and some very nice firing animations, I'm impressed so far.
Yesterday witnessed for the first time a 'player' robot firing lasers (a lot of them) followed with one firing ballistics (hybrid gun comparison). Smiled a lot to see the 'gauss' effect animation akin to the effects used in "Eraser". Pure laser, gauss animation porn! Loving it

Another Eve player checking in! Still trying to figure things out here.
Too early for me to form a solid opinion but so far I like the game and I feel right at home with the user interface. I don't think I will be calling myself an ex-EVE player as I still play on playing EVE but I think I might be calling myself a Perpetuum player as I am enjoying myself here.

old EVE player (since 2006) here too.
First day here, and what is my first impressions: this game seems is focused on huge grinding, and I do not like it.
And it needs be more "player friendly" in many simple details, maybe it do not have big impact on game, but it may let to enjoy this game better - like sorting items in cargo/storage, lesser icons of items there, or just item lists.. like in EVE, opacity of windows, bookmarks, possibility to make Landmarks templates (I really missed it - now can't make one to pvp, one to mining, etc), redesign of Targeting Cmputer window, etc...
EVE 2007 player here just unsubbed my 6 accounts over there. This game seems great so far. 3 or 4 Devs online last night until 2.00am their time (they were still there when I logged for bed). Devs were talking in gen chat too us all too, they seem a great bunch (no scoffing at the current EVE problems which was cool) and they mentioned lots of new content coming in July. Lack of regular new content was the main reason I droped EVE so hopefully Perp will learn from EVE's mistakes.

Are we back in the days where players can shape to lore as opposed to merely play by it as was the case when Ushra-Khan was formed?

Haven't made it much past character creation, but so far everything looks good - will definitely give the 15day trial a solid go and sub if I like it.

Another ex eve player signing in. Got through some of the tutorials. I like it so far. A bit clunky but nothing unexpected for a recently released game.

Off and On player for about 4-5 years now I guess, figured I'd give this game a shot...hopefully it's not as addictive as EVE so I can keep playing it, lol.
So, this NeX corp, is it just an all around group of EVE people where anything is allowed, or any rules? I'm pretty much a pvper/scoundrel (scammer, ninja, etc) in EVE...probably planning the same here, though I might just do production stuff for a bit, haven't made up my mind yet.
It's pretty good, feels like eve in the early days. Only thing thats annoying is that... their servers can handle us!

Looking realy good so far. Started trial today. Got thru the tutorials and started missioning a bit.
Love Mechs and the interface is fairly familiar which is nice. Plus the music alone is instant sub lol.
Haven't had a chance to sit and read all the chat channels goin on but I have heard the NEX?? and FOOM?? are the eve refugee corps atm? Isn't FOOM goonswarm???? And if so how long before NEX and FOOM are at war lol?
Gonna sub one account for sure possibly 2 this week just need which corps info are the ex eve vets so I got a direction to go in PVP focused of course , industry isn't my gig
First day here coming from EVE canceled two subs a couple of days ago. Just starting my first mission.
Here is another - not quite sure about quitting EvE yet tho - will give few days for 'em to solve the politics.
Meanwhile am happy to give this game a try and see what it has to offer. I'm not too picky as long management won't get any bright ideas to start milking the "golden goose".
