devs, if you handle yourselves like this every time a crisis comes up, you've earned my two subs.

to recap, you

I agree with this assessment - I give you an "A"

To get the "A+", please share with us -

- That you studied how this problem was introduced into the environment

- From that understanding, you have put in place steps to prevent that sequence of events, or similar events, from occurring again

Ok, I'll accept part of artifact hunting is an occassional out-of-reach result.

Thank you for the information and help, and thanks for avoiding the temptation to throw out an arrogant and annoying quip to a new player.

Island - New Virginia

Artifact coords - 1025, 1160

Even in 56 degree slope capability bot, I cannot get close enough to those coords to get artifact (pelistal infestation III)

FYI - The location is a mesa with a structure on top.  Coords come from 7 scans, where the results of each scan are cross-referenced with all others scans and lowest dev from mean is used to find location - long-winded way of saying I'm absolutely certain of coords.

From the throttled logins, comes talk of how players should be compensated.  The devs, I believe, have stated adding subscription time to match the time lost.  I'd go for a increment in EP myself, but it makes me wonder what other fun we can have with dev compensation.

So, how about a companion bot called "Hilmar", made by CCP Corp.  It has no purpose other than to occassionally accept NIC from you.  Every once in awhile, it asks for a big jump in NIC and then makes for the nearest cliff and jumps off, wrecking itself while chatting about this is what you really want.

As a new player, I justed wanted to share that my decision to invest my entertainment time in Perpetuum was, in part, based on a few out-of-game aspects, most notably this excellent podcast.

Keep up the good work!
