Lets get that bonus back!!!!! It would make them a viable option to roam with or have on standby... Mechs just got a mod to make them hit smaller objects. Let the Assaults hit harder.

Before patch you could use the drainers on enemy npc's it has no effect on their Accumulator but it did give you the energy back... worked great with a shield Troier for artifact hunting. Apparently not anymore.

I took a mining mission after i re-rolled to boost my rep back up. The mission said I would mine Sterm or hdt (not sure), but after moving to 4 waypoints at the 5th it said to mine Titan!!@*%&#. So I took my bot back to base and swapped charges then went back and completed the mission. Always check the mission box where it says what to do. It could be that the mission requirement got mixed up when they patched. Normally the "suggested area" has enough light green/yellow tiles to complete the mission. Also the area was completely void of the original (mission) mineral that I was to mine.

It really does seem that Assaults are only for PVE farming. I think they would be more viable if they were more versatile, Able to fit what their Ewar counterparts can fit or as stated us their med weapons slots with out sacrificing their small weapons or head slots for it. Or possibly give them all a NEXUS bonuses like -99% cpu useage of nexus mods with a 10% bonus to the nexus's natural bonus. Even with the range buff they received they still seem a pointless option for pvp.
