Mmmm, how about an OAuth2 API for the actual Perpetuum accounts? I've been planning to do some API revamping anyway, and having OAuth2 endpoints would mean we could have person-specific data routed through the API without having to worry about unauthorized access.
That sounds very good.

Those are the only comments that should matter

Define involved.

Well its pretty obvious, as theres no other way to do it, names that appear on a killmail, either doing the dying or doing the killing.

I want to encourage dialogue within the community, not stifle it. Checking the killboard after missing an engagement and being able to interact with your friends is integral to what I'm trying to provide.

Cuts out too many people that contributed but don't show up on the KM. Gonna have to say no thanks to this then.

Have you seen the comments.. ?

Yes, which is why this discussion hinges on the implementation of OAuth2 in the API. If added, I would be able to verify the person attempting to post as "Mitix" is in fact the owner of the "Mitix" account. Once that is possible, anonymous posting could be removed.
Taking it a step further, I would be able to store preferences for each of your user accounts on perp-kill allowing you to block individual users. So if "Mitix" posts nothing but racist, homophobic, ethnic slurs you could hide his comments globally on the site.
Long story short, I'm not going to remove, disable, or limit comments simply because there are a handful of immature posters. There are better solutions that don't ruin the fun for everyone.
I think that's a great idea. Thumbs up.

Sounds good to me, also every now and then since you made the change to the KB if I post something it seems like it went through but later if I check the KB the comment is gone and other times it works. So maybe a bug?
Hi Mitix
Is there a possible fix for the corporation info not being correct on players profile summary page?
Should be 77th Mechanized, says WARDEC my first corp

Ah, thanks, I thought that query was wonky, but didn't have an example to test whether it was correct or not. I'll get that fixed.
Hey DEV Gargaj,
Does every kill have a final blow flag set? I'm seeing some mails where the killer does zero damage, is the only attacker on the mail, but isn't flagged as the final blow. For example:
http://www.perp-kill.net/kill/256734
Just trying to figure out if that's a bug in my API parser, or if I need to change the logic.
Edit - Here's what you're sending:

He ran into a mob-spawn and the NPC delivered the killing blow.

Gotcha. I'm now displaying "NPC" as final blow in the table.
Yeah for some reason NPC killing blows don't show up on the killboard proper, so those of weak testicular fortitude tend to run straight in at the first sign of danger.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Please at least give us option of choosing a color (BLACK).
And thanks for removing the repetitive icons. Layout looks good and will really shine ...in BLACK
WTF happened to the KB? Looks like crap now. Was fine a day ago.
everything needs to be sized down quite a bit ... everything looks way to big
I prefer the way it did look.
Everyone calm down. I updated to Bootstrap 3. If you think it's all sized too big, take it up with Twitter. I'll get a dark theme up soon.
